Icy, along with the rest of the freshmen class, watched as Headmistress Griffin stepped up to the podium. Icy had heard a number of rumors about her, some of which didn't make sense. However, she was a very powerful witch and thus to be respected.
"Welcome ladies. For those of you who don't know me I am Headmistress Griffin. Here at Cloud Tower we only accept the best. Your being here marks each of you as a witch of renown. When you leave, it will be as someone who will leave her legacy as a dark example to others."
*=*=*
Darcy smirked as Miss Griffin started her speech.
"'Witch of renown'? That's laying it on a bit thick, wouldn't you say?"
Blazer shook her head and grinned.
"Yeah. It's not like any of us students are accomplished witches yet."
Darcy glanced at Blazer with a conspiratorial grin.
"It sounds to me like someone's buttering up the brats whose parents control the purse strings."
*=*=*
Icy smirked at that. She looked over at the beautiful brunette and saw her doing the same, then looked at the blue-haired girl who was, to no real surprise, still scowling.
Miss Griffin continued. "You will learn much here; new spells, potions, discipline... For example, not freezing your new classmates!" She looked long and hard at Icy as she said this. Icy just glared back at her. *Prove it, Griffin,* she thought as she chuckled softly. Icy could feel every pair of eyes in the room center on her. Far from being nervous, she welcomed the attention. *Remember me, ladies. I'm boss of this place now.*
Griffin decided not to push the issue. She knew how Cloud Tower worked and that whoever had been responsible for the mass entombment would pay for it.
Icy tuned out Griffin at this point, thinking about her future.
*=*=*
The words "... For example, not freezing your new classmates!" drew Darcy's attention back down to the stage where Headmistress Griffin was glaring down at the white-haired girl in the front row. She nudged Blazer with her elbow.
"Check it out. Looks like you're not the only one who thinks Miss Albino is the one responsible for all the freezing incidents today."
Blazer frowned.
"Man, what is her problem?"
Darcy glanced at Blazer.
"Whadda you mean?"
Blazer pointed at the white-haired girl.
"Just look at her! She's just eating up all the attention! Doesn't she know what kind of trouble she's in?"
Darcy looked back at the girl in the front row and shrugged.
"You think Griffin actually has proof it was her?"
Blazer shook her head.
"Forget Miss Griffin. All those girls she froze today know who did it and they're all gonna be out for revenge. Let me tell you, some of those seniors you just don't wanna mess around with. If she makes it through the day without winding up in the infirmary she'll be the luckiest bitch I've ever seen."
Meanwhile Miss Griffin's speech had resumed.
"Here at Cloud Tower we take pride in turning out only top-notch witches, which means we're going to be pushing all of you very hard to succeed. We don't tolerate slackers. Every year it seems we have one or two individuals who drop out because they simply can't cope with the pressure. Each year I hope that this year will be the exception, but the sad fact is that there are some witches who just aren't cut out for true glory."
Darcy rolled her eyes and leaned back in her seat on the bench.
"Blah blah blah. Is she about done or what?"
Blazer started ticking off points on her fingers.
"From what I remember of last year's speech she's still got the rules of conduct, basic curriculum, the major goals for each grade level and the exam schedule to go over yet before she's done."
Darcy frowned.
"No way. I'm not stickin' around for all that. Come on. Let's blow this scene."
Blazer's eyes went wide with apprehension.
"Are you crazy? We'll get detention if we get caught skipping out on the assembly!"
Darcy gave Blazer a mischievous grin.
"Then we'll just make sure we don't get caught."
She waited until Miss Griffin's attention was turned toward the other end of the room, then she grabbed Blazer's wrist.
"Shadow Transit."
A dark aura enveloped both girls instantly. A moment later it winked out, taking the two of them along with it. In the next instant the two girls reappeared in Darcy's dorm room sitting on one of the beds. Blazer looked around and gave a low whistle.
"Nice trick."
Darcy grinned at Blazer over her shoulder as she stood up.
"Thanks. You pick up a thing or two living in the Realm of Shadows. My mom doesn't even know I know how to do that yet."
As she walked over to her own bed she noticed that a pair of suitcases had been set by the bed they'd landed on, which meant that her other roommate had arrived. She also noticed shards of broken glass on the floor and a bent up chair beside an empty mirror frame. Evidently the new roommate had a bit of an anger management problem. Darcy wondered if it was the same witch who had been giving off such a charge back at the assembly. That could prove to be unpleasant. As Darcy opened her suitcase and started rummaging inside, Blazer got up and noticed the damage too.
"Wow. Somebody subscribes to the blunt trauma school of redecorating."
Darcy shook her head as she reached deep into the bag for something.
"Must be the new roommate. Gods, I hope it's not Miss Megawatt from the assembly. That'd be all I need, getting stuck with a piece of work like her for a roommate."
Blazer's eyes widened as Darcy leaned way forward to reach for something deep inside the bag. Not only did the pose put her ass on prominent display but it also seemed as though her arms must surely be reaching so deep into the bag as to be passing through the surface of the bed the bag was resting on. Then Darcy seemed to latch onto something and began drawing it out of the bag. Blazer's eyes practically bulged out of her head as Darcy withdrew a full-length wall mirror out of her bag. She pointed at the mirror in shock.
"That ... but ... bag ... how ..."
Darcy glanced at Blazer and grinned at her dismay.
"Haven't you ever seen a carpet bag before? They're kind of ugly, but they're bigger on the inside than they are on the outside, which is great for bringing along a lot of stuff all in one bag."
She laid the new mirror on the bed and proceeded to wrestle the broken mirror off the wall.
"The mirror was a gift from my mom. It's got a Shatterproof spell on it, otherwise I'd never be able to cart it around in my bag without it breaking. Trust me, cleaning broken glass out of an extra-dimensional suitcase is no fun at all."
Laying the old mirror aside, Darcy picked up her mirror off the bed and hung it where the old one had been.
"And here I thought I wasn't going to need it when I saw there already was a mirror in the room. Glad I came prepared."
She then reached back in the bag and started pulling out outfits on hangers which she held up to herself one after another, checking to see how they looked on her. Each one she rejected she tossed in the direction of an open wardrobe, and each outfit obediently sailed across the room to hang itself neatly on the rack. Eventually she found an outfit she liked. She laid it down on the bed and started to undress. Blazer held out both of her hands in protest.
"Hey, wait a minute! What're you doing?"
Darcy stopped and looked at her.
"I'm changing. What does it look like? I'm not going to wear this friggin' formal suit all day."
Up until that point Darcy had been wearing a pair of straight-legged purple suit pants, custom tailored to perfectly conform to the shape of her hips and ass, a matching purple suit jacket specially custom designed to leave her lovely shoulders exposed, and a pale lavender tube bra which became much more noticeable once she removed the jacket. Darcy tossed the jacket on the bed and started to take off the tube bra. Her face burning as bright as the stripes in her hair, Blazer turned her back to Darcy and stared pointedly at the wall.
"Geez! You could have asked for some privacy if you wanted to change!"
Blazer head the sound of a zipper as Darcy removed her pants.
"Why should I ask for privacy? My mom and I change clothes in front of each other all the time."
Blazer shook her head without turning around.
"Well I'm not your mom, now am I? I mean, people just don't do that sort of thing. If you want to take your clothes off you should do it in private."
She heard Darcy chuckle right behind her and was surprised to feel the other girl's arms wrap around her.
"But we are in private! This is my dorm room after all. It's not like I'm stripping naked in the middle of the hallway or something."
Blazer glanced down nervously at the pair of bare arms wrapped around her middle.
"Um, Darcy? What are you doing?"
Darcy leaned forward to whisper into Blazer's ear.
"You sure ask that question a lot. What do you think I'm doing?"
Blazer closed her eyes and swallowed nervously, trying not to think of Darcy's body pressed up against her back.
"Darcy, would you quit screwin' around and put some clothes on already?"
Darcy loosened her hold and slipped around to stand in front of her.
"Already did. Take a look."
Blazer cracked open one eye and was relieved to see that Darcy actually was dressed. She opened both eyes to take in the outfit Darcy had chosen. The suit pants had been replaced with a pair of tight-fitting purple bell-bottom jeans that had been cut off at the top to remove the strip of material where the belt loops would normally be. This left the jeans so low-cut that it was obvious that Darcy wasn't wearing panties underneath them. In place of the jacket and tube bra was a roughly diamond-shaped top with a notch cut out of the top for her neck. The side corners tied together in back while the top corners connected to a loop that went around behind her neck. The bottom corner hung down to cover her navel. The material was purple with concentric rings of lighter and darker shades radiating out from the center. She still wore the same high-healed boots with the curled toes which left Blazer wondering how she had ever managed to change pants so quickly. She let out a sigh of relief. Darcy gave her a lop-sided smirk.
"What'd you think, I was stripping down so I could have my wicked way with you or something?"
Blazer looked up to meet Darcy's eyes with an embarrassed grin.
"Well, kinda, yeah."
Darcy punched her lightly in the shoulder.
"I'm an enchantress, not a rapist. I tease, I flirt, I seduce, I even get into kinky S&M stuff if the other person's into it, but I don't do rape. If I come after you sexually it'll be because you've indicated that's what you want me to do. Now stop being such a worry-wart and let's go get some lunch."
Blazer nodded and followed Darcy out into the hallway, her cheeks still red with embarrassment.
They were the first to arrive at the cafeteria. They were just taking a seat when the first students arrived from the assembly. Several other girls glared at them as they got into line. Blazer shrank in on herself under the weight of all those glares.
"Maybe we should have waited until the assembly let out before we came to lunch."
Darcy shrugged and popped a grape in her mouth.
"Let 'em stare. They're just jealous they didn't think of cutting out early themselves."
Blazer shook her head as she picked up her hamburger.
"Better watch out. Around here jealousy has a way of turning into revenge."
She glanced down at Darcy's tray and raised an eyebrow at her choice of menu: bottled water, three kinds of fruit and a salad with light dressing. She gave Darcy a peculiar look.
"That's what you're eating? Where's the protein? All you've got there is rabbit food."
Darcy waved off Blazer's questions as she started in on her salad.
"Mmmm. I'm an enchantress, in case you forgot. I gotta watch my figure."
Blazer wrinkled her nose at that.
"Yeah, watch it turn into a stick figure. You've got some great curves, but you're gonna lose 'em if you keep eating like that. There's a fine line between proper dieting and starving yourself. You gotta learn to eat right if you wanna stay healthy."
The corner of Darcy's mouth quirked up as Blazer complimented her figure.
"So you like my curves, huh?"
Blazer froze in the middle of taking a bite out of her burger with a peculiar look on her face.
"Gah? I didn't mean it like that! I'm just saying you should learn to eat proper meals!"
Darcy pointed her salad fork at the food on Blazer's tray.
"And I suppose you call that a proper meal?"
Blazer put down her hamburger to point to each item on her tray.
"Well yeah. The hamburger covers my protein needs, an apple and carrot sticks for my fruits and vegetables, yogurt for my dairy needs, and bread sticks for fiber."
Darcy pointed to the fizzy black beverage in Blazer's glass.
"And that?"
Blazer grinned.
"Okay, so I like soda. It's not so bad for you in moderation. Besides, you gotta live a little, you know? I like the lift a good caffeine buzz gives me."
Darcy shook her head and grinned.
"And you harass me about not eating right. That stuff will give you curves in all the wrong places."

Took long enough, Amanda thought while she claimed an empty table in the cafeteria. She carefully placed her loaded tray on the table and took a seat. Although the Orientation only lasted half an hour, that was a very long time when it was boring, boring, had I mentioned boring?
It was just the usual stuff headmasters or mistresses say at the beginning of a school year. Basics, Lessons, Rules (always rules) and Exams… Luckily the latter was still far away. But now that orientation was finished, students were free to spend their day to their liking… Most of the seniors had gone to Magix. Only a few freshman and juniors stayed.
Amanda was just about to take a bite when a voice asked her “Mind if I join you?” The voice was quite familiar, but Amanda was too lazy to look up. “Actually I do mind,” she said trying to brush the other one off. But out of the corner of her eye she saw the other witch took a seat. Only then did she notice it was the Senior who had ‘helped’ her earlier today.
She also noticed that the rest of the little gang took a seat as well and shuffled their chairs close to Amanda’s.
Amanda sighed annoyed. “Do you mind… You’re ruining my appetite,” she said annoyed.
“We said we were going to teach you some respect,” the redhead from earlier said. “But first let’s introduce ourselves for the sake of courtesy. I’m Smokey,” she said, beaming. Amanda didn’t even look at her. “Like I care.”
Smokey gritted her teeth, using every last bit of patience she had. “You better care,” she hissed. “Because from now on you’re my slave.”
“Make me,” Amanda snorted at her.
“Oh, I will.”
“Oh yeah? You and what army?”
“In case you haven’t noticed,” Smokey said hushed, “you’re surrounded, so you’d better cooperate,” she finished while she traced a fingertip on Amanda’s cheek. She immediately pulled her hand back. “Ouch,” she whispered.
The others went all defensive. “What is it?”
“I just got shocked,” Smokey stated.
“Hey no jokes, ok.” A large girl with lime green, straight hair snapped, grabbing Amanda’s arm. She too pulled back when she felt a jolt moving to her elbow. “Damn you!”
Right now all four girls stood, readying themselves to give her one hell of a beating.
The lime green girl roughly grabbed Amanda’s shoulder and raised her fist ready to punch.
“Get her Limey! Right in the kisser!” Smokey cheered her companion on. But before Limey could strike, she lit up like a Christmas tree and fell limply to the floor.
Smokey looked down at her friend, shocked, then she lunged in a rage at Amanda. “What did you do, bitch?” But before she could strike, Amanda hit her in the nose. Smokey dropped to her knees, blood pouring down, ruining her blouse. She cradled her face with both hands and did her best not to show she was crying.
By now half the cafeteria was flocking around the table, cheering and hooting.
Amanda ignored the bystanders. Now that her adrenaline was pumping she wanted more… She turned to the other two of the clique. “What are you waiting for, huh?” Between her two palms, she conjured up a strong Thunderbolt, which made the room static, and turned towards the brunette who soaked her earlier. “I still have a score to settle with you.” She moved her arms ready to hurl the bolt, but before she could she felt a hand clasp her shoulder.
She growled and let her thunderbolt disappear. She shot a dark glare at Zarathustra, who was restraining her from continuing. “Ms. Griffin would like to see you in her office,” the woman said without emotion. She didn’t release Amanda and pulled her along in the direction of the office. “You two, take your friends to the infirmary,” she called over her shoulder to the two seniors that were still standing.
*=*=*
A trio of girls came up to the table Darcy and Blazer were sharing. The leader appeared to be the one with the light brown hair reaching down to her shoulders and the gray T-shirt bearing the word DOOM across the chest in big red letters. She set her tray down hard between Darcy's and Blazer's and stared at the two of them.
"You two, take a hike. This is our table."
Blazer grabbed her tray and made to stand up.
"Sorry Dusty. I forgot."
Darcy stopped her by placing a hand on her arm.
"There's no need for that. This table's big enough for all five of us."
Blazer looked at Darcy with frightened eyes and waved at her franticly, silently mouthing the words "No no no no no!" Dusty frowned at Darcy and poked her in the chest.
"I guess you didn't hear me so good. I said this is our table, and you are in my seat."
Darcy smiled back up at her mockingly.
"Well I'm not quite done with my lunch yet, but if you want this seat so badly I guess I can make room for you in my lap."
The dirty blond with the swept-back hairdo giggled at that but the dark-haired girl with the dour face smacked her arm. Dusty folded her arms as she scowled down at Darcy.
"Is that right? And just who do you think you are freshie? You that new girl they say is going around freezing all the seniors in school?"
Blazer had her head down, trying not to draw too much attention.
"That'd be the white-haired girl. This one's an enchantress."
The dour-faced girl's eyes lit up as she and the other girl turned to each other and said "Ooooooo!" at the same time. Dusty's mouth quirked up in a smug, superior smirk.
"Hey Boomer! Titania! D'you hear that? She's an enchantress!"
She leaned in close to put her face almost nose-to-nose with Darcy.
"Hey girlie! I think you're in the wrong school."
Darcy regarded her calmly.
"No. You're just in the wrong century."
The one with the swept-back hair elbowed the dour-faced brunette.
"Hey, getta load o' her Tit! Has she got a mouth on her or what?"
The dark-haired girl turned to glare daggers at her companion.
"I told you to quit calling me that Boomer!"
Dusty straightened up and snapped her fingers, bringing the other two girls to attention. She put her hand on her hip and stared down at Darcy.
"Seems like somebody around here needs to learn her place. Ladies, I think it's time to show Little Miss All That why we're called The Helions."
Before they could do anything though, there was the sound of a ruckus and several girls were chanting "Fight! Fight! Fight! Fight!" while others whistled and cheered. Dusty and her cohorts turned to see what was going on. As they did, Blazer grabbed Darcy by the arm and pulled her away from the table.
"Come on! Now's our chance to get out of here!"
Darcy grabbed a couple of pieces of fruit from her tray and followed Blazer quickly out of the cafeteria. As they made their escape Blazer leaned in to whisper to Darcy.
"Are you nuts? What were you thinking picking a fight with those three? They're the number one terrors of the senior class!"
Darcy smirked back at her.
"You worry too much. Those posers never would have touched me. In a minute I'd have had them eating out of my hand."
Blazer shook her head.
"Yeah, right. We're just lucky someone else started a fight before they did. Girl, you gotta learn to respect the natural order here if you're gonna survive."
Darcy continued to smile confidently.
"The natural order is that the seductress always gets what she wants."
Blazer just shook her head as they wandered the halls of Cloud Tower.
"Don't say I didn't try to warn you. Come on. Let me show you around the castle. I'll bet there's a lot of places you haven't seen yet."
Darcy nodded.
"Yeah, thanks. I think the castle was still messing with me when I tried to explore on my own earlier. This place is just like a maze where all of the walls are continually changed."
Blazer grinned.
"Well, once the castle knows that you know where you're going it'll stop messing with you soon enough. It's not as much fun when it can't confuse you anymore."
*=*=*
Finally Icy noticed everyone starting to stand and clap. She stood and clapped once, then started to head back to her room.
She had to take her time as Cloud Tower seemed to be trying especially hard to confuse and mislead her. She kept repeating under her breath, "Tower, you WILL allow me direct access to my room with none of your fun and games."
Suddenly a gust of wind blew through the hall, blowing out most of the torches. As the hallway plunged into near darkness Icy heard a voice. "Hey bitch, remember us?"
Icy recognized the voice. It was Wind and her posse. "Well, come back for more?" Icy yelled as she prepared to attack.
"Bring it on, freshie," Wind laughed.
Icy started with an arctic blast, which she sent towards Wind's voice. From the darkness Icy heard Wind laugh again. "You got lucky this morning. You won't get lucky again."
Icy send a cloud of ice daggers up towards the ceiling in case any of the upper-class girls were above her, then sent a second batch towards where Wind's voice was coming from now.
Suddenly a blast of sound hit her from behind, shoving her into a wall. She quickly recovered only to find thorny vines coming out of the wall and floor, grabbing her limbs. She created an ice shield which froze the vines, but more appeared to replace those that froze and died.
Icy was in trouble. She could easily freeze the vines but didn't know which would run out first; the vines or her energy. And she had to concentrate on the vines, leaving her vulnerable to other attacks.
And they came. Boots seem to materialize out of the shadows and swung a large wooden club. It slammed into the side of Icy's head, stunning the white-haired girl. With her concentration broken the vines now covered her limbs completely, others wrapping themselves around her waist, neck and head. Icy was unable to move, and the blow made it difficult to concentrate to attack again. Through the blood trickling into her eyes she saw Wind and her posse start to gather around her.
Wind's hand went under Icy's chin and pulled it up to face her. She gave Icy a sadistic grin, then turned to her posse. "She's all yours. Make it memorable..." was all she said as she leaned against a wall and observed...

Amanda struggled free from the teacher’s grasp. “I can walk by myself.”
“You’d better change that attitude young lady or you’ll be heading this way quite a lot,” Zarathustra said. Amanda just shrugged. “I’m used to it.”
“Here it is,” the woman said. “Sit down. Ms. Griffin will call you in when she’s ready.”
Amanda sat down, as she was told and was soon left alone, bored as hell while she waited for Griffin. She then noticed a small plant pot to her right and decided to amuse herself with it. She conjured up a miniature rain cloud to hover over it.
At first the plant seemed ‘happy’ and Amanda thought she heard it squeal contentedly. She then decided to turn it up a notch and added some wind effects and created a hurricane, no bigger than a dinner plate.
Just when she had added some thunder and lighting and was really starting to enjoy herself, two teachers rushed out the office in a hurry and Ms. Griffin told her to come in.
Amanda followed the headmistress without saying a word.
“This has really been the lousiest school year so far,” Griffin started, “and it’s only 2 hours since that year started.” She sat down and gave Amanda a sharp look. “Most of my students have been frozen onto the walls and my staff and I have been busy all day thawing them out.” She stood up again and walked around her office. “And if that’s not enough, YOU have to cause some trouble as well.” Griffin paced over to where Amanda was sitting and lowered her face close to the girl's. “One student paralyzed with that shock therapy you gave her and one with a broken nose. What do you have to say for yourself?” She spat while she waited for an answer.
Amanda thought for a few seconds before formulating her answer. “I’d say… That’s a personal record,” she answered proudly.
“You actually take pride in your actions?”
Amanda shrugged “I warned them to leave me alone, but they insisted on making me their ‘slave’. Bummer for them if I don’t go down easily.”
Ms. Griffin squinted her eyes and moved back to her seat. “What to do about you…” She mused out loud.
Amanda stretched and moved towards the door, not really up to waiting for an answer. “Well, it’s a good thing I haven’t unpacked yet,” she said.
“Unpacked?”
“You’re throwing me out, right?” Amanda said.
“No, you won’t get off that easily,” Griffin said not looking up at the girl.
Amanda blinked confused. “You’re not?” That’s weird. All other schools she’d been at had kicked her out for her fights. Maybe Griffin needed a little more convincing.
“Ah, I know. You can clean the library. That way it’s all freshened up for the start of the school year,” Griffin said finally.
“What?” Amanda snapped “You’re making me clean…?”
“Yes, now go.”
Amanda growled. Cleaning. Yuck. “Well, I guess we’ll see each other tomorrow,” she said as she left the room.
“I certainly hope not,” Griffin murmured without looking up from her papers.

Icy barely managed to drag herself back to her room. Her clothes were ripped to shreds, she had a black eye and a split lip, numerous bruises and quite possibly at least one cracked rib. She needed a shower and some time to recover, then she would teach Wind and her friends a badly-needed lesson in manners.
When she opened the door she saw luggage, some broken glass and a damaged chair but neither of her two roommates were there. *Thank the Coven for small favors*, she thought. At least she wouldn't have to explain her condition. She dragged herself to the shower and got the water as hot as she could stand it. She then stood under it, allowing the warmth to ease away some of her pain. She wished she knew some healing spells but, needless to say, these had never been in her lessons.
She finally got out, still sore but feeling better. She was lucky, *the roommates must still be at lunch.* She was hungry herself but had no time for food. She went back to her luggage and retrieved more clothes, this time a long-sleeved shirt with a high collar and a long skirt, both dark blue. She hated the combination but it did manage to hide most of her bruises. It took what seemed like forever to dress as her body rebelled every time she moved. Finally she got her boots on. A quick run of a comb through her hair and she stepped back out into the hallway. "I'm coming for you bitches!" she mumbled/yelled through her split lip as she started back to where Wind and her posse had beaten her.
Icy was almost back to where she'd been jumped when she saw a movement in a dark corner of the hall. "Got you now!" she mumbled/yelled as she prepared an Ice Cloud spell. But before she could cast it she was pinned to the wall by pegs of what appeared to be liquid water but was stiff to the touch. She looked up to see Twister step out of the shadows.
"Thought I'd find you here", the pink-haired girl said to Icy.
"Let me go, Twister, this doesn't concern you!" Icy mumbled/yelled as she struggled to free herself. Her split lip cracked and started to bleed again.
"Actually, it does," Twister said as she walked up to the pinned freshman, took out a handkerchief and started to mop up the blood running down Icy's chin. "I'll bet I can guess where you're going."
"Let me go! Nobody beats me up and lives to tell about it!"
"Icy, calm down. You need to let this go for now."
"Go to hell!"
"Icy, you got lucky this morning. Nobody expected a freshman to be as powerful as you. But you won't surprise anybody again. Wind and her crew had to regain face after you froze them. Right now they consider the score even. But if you escalate this, if you push them now, they will cripple or possibly even kill you. Griffin would protest, of course, but it won't do you any good. That's just the way things work around here."
"So I'm supposed to just let them get away with this?!" Icy said.
"No. But alone without allies you can't hope to defeat them all, even as powerful as you are. Start your classes. Hone your skills. Make allies and come up with a plan. Then you can successfully take on Wind and her crew."
Icy hated it, but Twister was right. In her weakened condition she had little chance of winning an all-out fight. But later... "Twister, will you help me?"
The pink-haired girl smiled as she released Icy from her bonds. The white-haired girl almost collapsed into her arms. "Yes, Icy, I will. But right now let's get you back to my room and get you fixed up."
Twister half-carried/half-dragged Icy back to her room. Icy was surprised at Twister's room; it had a pink canopy bed. "Don't laugh, Icy. I happen to like it."
Twister set Icy on the bed, then went to get some items from the bathroom. Icy's body was aching and she was glad to be horizontal.
Twister returned with some bottles and a box of various items. "Let's start with that lip."

It’d been 2 hours since she started cleaning that damn, huge library. “Oh, man! How long do I have to keep going?” Amanda grumped while occasionally tugging at her skirt: her butt was feeling drafty. She leaned against a shelf to take a breather when suddenly a book fell on her head. She quickly took a battle stance and checked if there was anyone who could have thrown it. When she was sure that no one was around she glanced at the book at her feet.
It had fallen open on a page with a big picture. Amanda thought it looked a bit bottle-ish and yet it didn’t. She couldn’t really make anything of it… She picked it up and read out loud “Wisperian Crystals…” She tapped her chin for a second and then decided “Pretty picture.” She slammed the book shut and placed it back on the shelf. “But I don’t really feel like studying any more than necessary”.
She grabbed her broom and continued on her cleaning detention, wanting to get out as soon as possible…
