The sun shined through the windows of Lilo and Stitch’s domed room, as Stitch groggily opened his eyes to the morning light. Stitch sat up on the bed as the events of the previous night came back to him, he couldn’t help but look down and smile at his still sleeping buchi bu. It then struck him, Stitch had slept with Leroy, it wasn’t that fact that concerned him it was more so the prospect that the two not only had sex on Lilo’s bed, but they also remained there the entire night!
“Buchi bu”, Stitch whispered taping the experiment lightly….. No response.
“Leroy wake up” Stitch said now shaking the red fluff ball.
Leroy turned to his side to face Stitch and opened his eye’s just enough to see Stitch standing in front of him with a worried look on his face.
“Gaba?” Leroy said with a hint of irritation in his voice.
“Achoota, Lilo knowta” Stitch said with concern. Obviously Stitch thought that Lilo had come up last night and seen the two cuddled next to one another. This thought led Stitch to assume that Lilo had guessed what they did and has already told everyone that he and Leroy were gay. Stitch was now in a panic. He began pacing back and forth trying to think of what to say to the rest of the ohana.
“What am I going to do? Everyone probably thinks that I’m some sort of disgusting freak now!” Stitch thought to himself as he groaned and buried his face into his hands.
Leroy watched Stitch confused and a little concerned as well. He couldn’t figure out why Stitch was so distraught at the idea of Lilo seeing them sleeping together.
“If Stitch so worried, then talk to Lilo” Leroy suggested as Stitch lifted his paws from his face.
“But what if Lilo is mad at Stitch?”
Leroy shook his head “Naga, meega seen you and her together, Lilo not mad.” Leroy said trying to comfort Stitch.
Stitch sighed, He knew that Leroy was probably right, but he just felt so insecure now after realizing that he was gay. Stitch knew that homosexuality was thought to be wrong by many people on earth and he just didn’t want to be rejected by Lilo.
“Okie takka, Stitch talk to Lilo” he said with a bit of hesitation.
Leroy then lifted himself up on his elbow and kissed Stitch on the lips.
“Meega love you buchi bu” Leroy said as soon as they broke off their kiss.
“Meega love you too” Stitch replied.

Stitch stepped on the platform in the middle of the room, just before it began it’s descent he gave Leroy a soft yet unsure smile. And as the elevator brought him down, he began to think:
“Why is Leroy so cool about this whole thing? Doesn’t he realize that everyone might shun us for what we’re doing?”
I guess he doesn’t, not only is he young, but he’s also new to life on this planet and does not yet understand how others think of people like him and me. Or maybe he just doesn’t care, who knows.” He sighed “I wish I was that care free though.”
Stitch thought of all this just as the lift reached its destination.
“Oh I hope Lilo’s somewhere were I can talk to her alone” Stitch thought to himself as he raced through the hall and into the living room. There he saw Lilo sleeping on the couch, laying on a pillow and covered in a blanket. Stitch walked slowly toward his friend being careful not to wake her before he was sure that he was ready to talk.
Stitch stood over Lilo who was sleeping peacefully on her side, her mouth slightly ajar. This made Stitch smile a little, he knew how strong the bond between him and Lilo was and he dreaded the heartache it would cause if Lilo wasn’t willing to accept him for who he was.
“But Lilo cares for Stitch, and Stitch cares for Lilo too.” Stitch thought to himself.
“So Lilo shouldn’t mind who I love, right?”
Just then Lilo began to stir and she came to,
“Good morning Stitch” she said as she sat up yawning and rubbing the sleep from her eyes.
Stitch took a step back. He wasn’t quite ready yet, what if Lilo did see them last night and…
“I saw you and Leroy had fallen asleep in my bed last night, cute little balls of fur” she said cheerfully.
“So she did see us. But she doesn’t seem mad, maybe she doesn’t know.”
“Oh, yeah, sorry Lilo. Me and Leroy were talking and umm…”
“And you were able to turn him from bad to good that quickly? See I told you that just having a talk with him would help, didn’t I?”
Stitch gave a mental sigh of relief; he now knew that Lilo didn’t suspect a thing. Although he hated to lie to her, he wasn’t willing to tell her about him and Leroy just yet.
“Uhhhhh, yeah Leroy good now!” Stitch shouted out in agreement
Lilo smiled at her best friend, “I’m proud of you Stitch, helping Leroy out like that. And it seems like talking helped you out too, you were so upset last night. But you’ll get over Angel, I just know it. You’re the toughest, kindest and most noble person I’ve met and you’ll find someone else who’s deserving of your love.”
“If you only knew Lilo” Stitch chuckled to himself.
“what was that?” Lilo asked.
“oh nothing, takka Lilo.” Stitch said as he gave his friend a hug.

Meanwhile upstairs in the room, Leroy had his ear pressed against the floor. Using his highly tuned sense of hearing, he was able to listen in on the entire conversation.
“Why did Stitch not tell Lilo about our love?” He thought. “I love him, doesn’t he love me? What if he doesn’t and he’s just trying to break me into becoming a good little pet for that girl!”
Leroy was jumping to rash conclusions but he didn’t care. “And to think, I thought of him as my Buchi bu! He growled.
With that he ripped the glass off the small window frame, tossed it onto Lilo’s pillow, leapt down to the ground and scampered off into the woods.

Stitch meanwhile was already on the elevator and was coming back up to the room ready to tell Leroy that the two of them had nothing to worry about now.
“It’s good that Lilo doesn’t know, if she did then she might think I was some sort of… what’s that degrading word people use? Oh yeah; queer.” Stitch sighed. He didn’t fully know why people were so hostile to something that didn’t seem that big a deal to him. However he had been on earth long enough to know that there were a lot of bigoted people out there and he just hoped that his ohana, namely Lilo, wouldn’t abandon him because of it.
The lift finely brought Stitch to the familiar spherical room, but to his surprise he didn’t see Leroy waiting to greet him as he expected.
“Huh?” Stitch said to himself in confusion.
“Buchi bu!” Stitch called out
He walked over to the closet door “Where did you go” Stitch said now in a softer tone while peeking in. But Leroy wasn’t there and Stitch began scouring the room looking for him.
A few moments later Stitch had searched the entire room but found not a single trace.
“Now where could he be? Hey! Whys the window open?” Stitch thought to himself as he crawled across Lilo’s bed to the glassless porthole in the wall.
“Could he have leapt out onto the ground? Stitch inquired.
“But wait why would he do that he could have just used the elevator and walked out the door if he wanted to go outside, something’s wrong and I’ve got to find him so I can figure out what.”

Author’s Notes: Alright, as you can see I have decided to extend this one shot into a short story (hence why the chapter is a bit choppy). But it’s not going to be too long so don’t expect a novel or anything, I just love this pairing and wanted to continue it so to provide a satisfactory ending, as opposed to just a quick lemon. Don’t get me wrong though, I did enjoy writing it. ;)
