The leashed Irken walked along the street, one eye on the street in front of him. The other eye had swollen shut thanks to Dib's punches. Blocking out the pain, Zim's mind had gone blissfully blank, all except for one grating thought. He was gong to be in pain. There would be experiments done and questions asked. Torture was a distinct possibility. At best he would have to help the humans with their technology, disobeying the most strict of his Irken laws. At worst...
Zim looked up as Dib halted in front of him. The scenery looked familiar and he realized they were at Dib's house. Quirking an antennae curiously, he looked he glanced at Dib. The human must have noticed because he explained. "You need to stay at my house for at least a while. You look a mess. After all I've been through, I'm not going to hand over an alien who's all crippled and disgusting. I mean, more disgusting than usual.”
Zim shrugged. Shrugging was such a human gesture. Idly, he wondered when he had picked it up. An abrupt breeze interrupted the Zim's pondering and he hunched over, compacting himself to reserve heat. Stupid planet. Stupid COLD planet. A moment passed, then there was a movement beside him. Zim flinched, but Dib only removed his black coat and draped it over the alien's small form. "Keep that on." Dib commanded. "It'll cover your antennae. That way Dad and Gaz won't notice anything... not that they would anyway, but just to be sure." Zim nodded vaguely, but didn't speak. What was there to say?
Zim felt a tug on the string around his wrists and he followed Dib into the house. Keeping as close to the walls as he was able, Zim realized how different Dib's house was to his own. So vulnerable without defense panels and whatnot. Weirdly enough, Zim found himself thinking about his base with a sort of wistfulness. Dib didn't break step as he led Zim up some stairs. The string around his wrists kept Zim close to the human, making the climb far more difficult than it needed to be. Concentrating hard, Zim managed to reach the top, only to trip over the last step. Unable to brace himself, Zim stumbled into Dib. With a startled expression, the human caught him. Zim could feel the strength in Dib’s arms built up, no doubt, from all their battles. There was irony there somewhere.
Dib snickered "What's the matter Zim? Don't they have stairs on Irk?". Zim flushed a faint pink that contrasted with his skin and tried to get his balance without use of his hands. Without his PAK it seemed that his center of gravity had shifted. Swaying slightly, the alien tried to ignore the fact that Dib was staring at him. After all, he would have to get used to the feeling. Soon he would be taken to a lab and strung up with cords and irk-knows-what running through him. Rude stares would be the least of him problems.
A small pressure appeared on the side of his face and Zim's gaze flicked to the side. Dib had one pale hand on his cheek, trailing up towards his antennae. Instinctively, the Irken pulled his head away. Though... for a human touch, it hadn't felt too bad. After waiting a second, Dib reached over again, this time taking hold of Zim’s sensitive antennae with his free hand, pulling it experimentally.
With a stuttering yelp, Zim lurched foreword and clenched his eyes shut in pain. When he opened his eyes he saw Dib looking at him, facinated. “Wait...So are there nerves in these? or are they like hair?” The human ran his thumb over the length. “Can you feel-" Zim gave a little purr as heat flared in his squigglyspooch. "-that... well I guess that answers the question." Zim cringed at his own behavior, but couldn't quite bring himself to pull away.
“Did you like that?” The voice sounded faded and far away to Zim as Dib ran his fingers from base to tip and back. "Feels like... it feels like a pipe cleaner. Do you hear with these? Are they like ears?..." Zim didn't respond even when Dib brought his mouth close to the the soft appendage. This wasn’t anything like Zim had expected. Pain he could understand... But pleasure? What did the Dib-human have to gain? All thoughts were washed from his mind as he felt something soft and wet flick against his sensitive antenna.
"Gya!"
He leapt back and stared at Dib, who retracted his tongue into his mouth and grinned wickedly. "You weren't answering me."
"Filthy human swine-filth!" Zim spluttered, a bit of his old self surfacing. "How dare you lick the mighty antennae of almighty ZIM! At that, how dare you lick ANY of Zim with your burning wetness!" The Irken blinked as he realized something. Confusion quirked Zim's head slightly one way. "Wait... why isn't Zim burning?" At Dib's confused stare he rolled his eyes and elaborated. "Your saliva is water is it not? H2O?"
Dib's own head cocked slightly, almost mirroring Zim. "Um... I dunno. Maybe there wasn't enough water for it to count?"
Zim frowned as he pondered. His weakness to water was a problem he had been working on a long time. This new turn had brought it to his mind, even in the present predicament.
"I could try again." The Irken's head snapped to the sound of Dib's voice. Under his suspicious stare the human explained. "It may have been a fluke or something. So if I try again and it burns you, you won't have to worry about it anymore." He smirked. "Besides, I want to know too."
Zim opened his mouth, then shut it again. He tapped the points of his gloved fingers together. Then, with a resigned nod, he lowered his head, offering his antennae. Irk-damn his curiousity. There was a brief space of nothing, then he felt Dib's tongue prod at him. Again, no burning. Dib prodded again, then Zim felt the human's lips close completely around his antennae while ungloved fingers went to hold the tip. At the contact, Zim's throat tightened and a rather pleasant shiver ran down the length of his spine.
When the Irken didn't pull back, Dib let his teeth close lightly, grazing the antennae as his tongue ran over it. Zim shuddered deliciously and nearly fell over from the feelings racing through him.
Slowly he raised his eyes to Dib’s, who surveyed him with an amused expression. “Come on.” the Dib-worm said, commandingly, tugging on the string. Zim followed, allowing himself to be lead along the hall to Dib’s room. On the door were pictures of aliens, bigfoot, and other ‘mythical’ creatures. He shook his head slowly, his antennae waving from side to side as he was lead through the door. There were a lot of pictures on his wall. Mostly, Zim realized with a jolt, of him. Only in his human disguise. There wasn’t one of him as an alien. Zim felt a surge of pride as he realized that up till then he had succeeded on keeping his identity a secret. Then his antennae sagged as he realized it was over now and it didn’t really matter.
“Hey I’m talking to you!” Dib kept his voice low, as to not wake up his dad and Gaz. Zim blinked up at him and looked at him, anger burning in his eyes. He almost apologized before clenching his teeth. He might be at the mercy of his sworn enemy but he wouldn’t apologize. He waited for Dib to repeat whatever he had said. “I said where are you going to sleep?”
Zim looked surprised. He had obviously thought he was going to sleep in a test tube somewhere… certainly not in Dib’s room. He looked around. The bed was out of the question…. He supposed he could sleep on the floor. As he opened his mouth to tell Dib, he felt a yank on his wrists and was jerked foreword, cutting his answer off. He stared as Dib climbed onto his bed, dragging Zim with him. Zim tensed as his body hit the soft mattress. Struggling to a sitting position he glared at Dib. “What are you doing?” He asked incredulously.
Dib glared right back at him. “I don’t trust you untied and there’s no where I can tie you up…. Besides.” He said softly as Zim opened his mouth to argue. “I wanted to try more of this…” Leaning foreword he caught Zim’s antenna between his lips and Zim sagged limply, his eyes slitting. Dib laid him on the bed, Zim’s head under his chin as he continued to suck on one of Zim’s antenna. He released his hold on the string that bound Zim’s wrists and pulled him closer. With a ragged breath Zim shifts to look up at Dib. “Wh..what are you doing?” He manages to get out, waves of pleasure rolling over him.
Dib smiled softly, the feeling of his lips changing on his antenna sending a new shiver down Zim's spine. “I don’t want you to escape. This seems to relax you.” That was an understatement. Zim buried his head into Dib’s chest, inhaling his soft, warm scent. With Dib lightly sucking, changing his lips on the antenna every so often, Zim fell into a warm, dreamless sleep.
