Shego watched amazed her daughter was very shy, unlike her bossy sister but she’d actually slipped closer to a boy and was talking to him, she smiled and turned to Sadie she was holding her hand up in front of little Reuben Stoppable and it was glowing at full power, Shego was about to leap to Reubens defense when Sadie began explaining about her powers, and in a quiet voice telling Reuben what her powers were.

She barely made it to the rooftop when an entry door to her left opened and a guard tried to turn her into shishkabob with a Katana, she drew the Walther in one quick motion and fired two shots into the man’s center of mass sending him falling back against the door he had just come through.”K!” Are you ok,I’m just about across your not injured are you?” Ron’s voice penetrated the haze that had descended over her.
She had just shot another human being, she shook her head and kneeled to check if the man was still alive the pool of blood that was gathering under him told her all she needed to know, she reached out and checked his neck to make sure, no pulse.”One target eliminated, moving to see where that sniper is.” Ron made it to the roof and drew his pistol. “Ok if I remember right that guy was off to the right some, near that other door on the roof.” “Kim activated the penetrating X-ray Function in the helmet and watched as the figure stood up to take a cigarette out of his shirt pocket and light up.
“Ok I see him he’s smoking over there, you go around the side and I’ll draw his attention when he catches sight of me you move in and take him down Ron.” Ron nodded and crept around the side of the roof entrance. Kim waited till she thought Ron was in position, then walked around the front side of the entrance facing the sniper.
She spoke in Japanese, calling out to the man she asked if he had another cigarette, the man turned surprised to hear a woman’s voice he fumbled at his pocket first then went for the sniper rifle beside him. The shot rang out dully from the silenced Walther And the sniper's face blossomed in a red explosion, the body tumbled back and ended propped against the entryway wall blood running freely down his shattered face painting his clothes red.
Kim turned to her husband, Ron’s face looked angry.”You ok love?” “That bastard was gonna just shoot you, and now he’s toast man this thing pulls a little to the left, I’m gonna have to resight it when we get back.” “Ron are you ok?” “Yeah I can’t say I like shooting people but he almost shot you, and all of my pistol training came back I even remember old Perkins tell me to breathe when I squeezed the trigger to stabilize my aim.”
The two of them crept inside quietly. There was an angry voice coming from somewhere up ahead, Kim held up her hand and Ron stopped, she directed his attention down and Ron gulped trip mine in the hallway was stretched across the hall low down where the unsuspecting might not notice it.”These bastards are playing for keeps. She adjusted the hearing augmentation a bit and listened to what was going on her ear on the wall, the man was screaming at someone in Japanese, and a man kept replying in English, then she heard a quieter voice say something a bit further away.”Sounds like two targets ones close to I think Doctor Weatherby, at least he sounds British, and the other voice is slightly further away in the room.”
Ron adjusted the X-ray penetrating vision and took a look, yeah kinda big dude sitting in a chair back a bit in the room, looks like he armed with maybe a shotgun, the other skinny guy looks like he’s standing over our man Doctor Weatherby, how do you wanna run this?” “I think there’s no time to waste, there might be other goons in the building besides those two stationed at the door downstairs, we need to do this fast and dirty.”
Ron nodded and drew the heavy assault rifle off his back.”Locked and loaded let’s dance.” Kim kicked in the door the fat man in the chair stood up leveling a shotgun at her and Ron stitched him up with the heavy assault rifle sending the fat man spinning as the bullets ripped into him.”
Kim front kicked the skinny man smashing his face with her right foot, then leveled her Walther and fired into him point-blank. Kim moved to the man tied up in the chair and asked if was Doctor Weatherby.”Why yes, I am Doctor Alex Weatherby, thank you so much can someone please untie me?” Kim unsheathed her dagger and cut the Doctor’s bonds.”We need to move Ron that heavy automatic weapons fire has to have alerted people that were here.”
Ron nodded.”Gonna sweep the hall, you get Doctor Weatherby to the roof,let’s, radio, Major Nomura and call in a strike team.” Kim lead the Doctor to the roof, and scanned the building for activity, the two men below by the doors were still standing there,” Ok Doctor Our exit out of here is across this cable, since your likely, not skilled in wire walking I am going to have you climb on my back, I must ask you to keep as still as possible while I walk the cable back to the tower over there.”
Kim walked at a steady pace she heard Ron get out to the roof behind her.”Alright, Doctor we just need to climb down from here, please make your way down I will be up here a few minutes Major Nomura will be waiting for you when you reach the ground.” “Major Nomura, we have rescued Doctor Weatherby please meet him when he gets down I am waiting for my husband to return from the target area.”
“Copy that Agent Stoppable I am moving now to retrieve the Doctor.” Kim heard a vehicle start-up and move toward her location.”We gotta move Nomura is coming to grab us and the Doctor, those guys out front must be deaf Or something.” Ron made it to the tower, they carefully climbed down and made a dash for the Waiting vehicle.”Drive…”Nomura stomped on the pedal and they tore out of there Wheels spinning on the pavement as they took the corner, the men at the front of the building started firing at the retreating car.
Kim Buzzed Wade.”Mission accomplished, Doctor Weatherby is safe and sound we should be home in a little over 5 hours cya for dinner.” “Great work Kim you and Ron run into any trouble?” “Uh still trying to deal with reality a little, but these guys were scum promising to send home pieces of the good doctor really didn’t endear them to either Ron or me, just both of us have come to the conclusion we need to brush up on certain stuff agent Stoppable out.”
