Chapter 4: Beach City Today
8, October 2027 AD, 05:01 (Earth's Time)
Earth, 898m from Beach City.
After some time, Steven explained Connie and Greg what happened that day. From Blue Diamond's meeting to the escape. Connie stood quietly, listening every inch of his words. Greg listened to him while concentrating on the road. Even Yellow Diamond listened to him carefully.
"Then We crashed into this forest and searched for the road for nearly three hours." Steven finishes his tale.
Connie rubs her eyes slowly "Jesus," She slightly cursed "You both been through a lot"
"Yeah, but what about you Guys, What happened to Earth?"
"A goddamn Invasion happened, Steven. The entire armada of ships, tanks, and Gem soldiers invaded every part of Earth."
"I was there when it happened, Steven. Ten minutes passed since my arrival to Beach City and the entire fleets hovered over the town. They destroyed your temple, killed Lion and steal your bubbles and everything.
"How long did the Earth fought back?" Steven asks again, he is slightly interested.
"Only full week. Then the entire world surrendered to them. Then they started killing entire populations of Muslims, Jews and Chinese. They claimed they are helping for Earth's stability. If you saw Ottoman territories of Saudia Arabia, Cities such as Mecca and Medina are fully abandoned. Same goes with China." Connie finishes
"We all hoped that you and Crystal Gems would save us. We all thought that you were captured by Yellow Diamond...not some weird Grandpa of yours." Greg adds.
Yellow Diamond chuckles slightly "I more like" She air quotes "Straddled" him rather than captured him."
Connie confusingly raised her eyebrow "I...I really don't know what are you implementing, my Diamond"
Yellow Diamond slightly rolled her eyes "I'm just a joking. But in other words: I helped him to escape from my soldiers.
"Are they your soldiers?" Connie asks
"They were my soldiers" Yellow shrugs her shoulders "Then they decided to join a new Empire. It's funny how Gems never tried to rebel against us. The last Diamond Authority was considered to be the weakest for the entire history of the Diamond Authorities"
"So you saying there was many Diamond Authorities?"
"Yep, I'm sixth Yellow Diamond from the line of Yellows"
"Then who was fifth and fourth?" Greg asks her.
"The fifth was my father who died by Rose Quartz. The fourth one was my grandmother which was so badass in the court." Yellow slightly fanboyed.
"Hmm, when I was a kid, I saw some strange painting on the walls. They look like Diamonds" Steven calmly says
"You mean them?" Connie shows a picture of the Diamond Authority wall paintings on her phone.
Yellow Diamond looks the picture "Hmm, Those paintings? pfff. They are a just pile of nonsense. They just made to scare Gems."
"So it's drawing of you?" Connie asks
"Of course not. I don't look like a grumpy grandma with a strange neck. White Diamond doesn't have a spiky hair and Blue Diamond...He even doesn't look like a woman with long hair. Aura looks different here from what I remember her appearance." Yellow explains.
"Then who are they?" Connie asks again, showing her interest in the wall paintings
"I guess its fourth generation of Diamonds. The fourth and fifth Generation were the strongest in the timeline."
"So Carnelian used your weakness to fulfill his evil plans? That Gem is the smartest one" Greg comments
Steven crossed his arms. "It looks like Carnelian always has a high ground, Father. Centipeetle is captured, Lion is dead, Crystal Gems are officially disbanded and Earth is captured. The rebellion is gone, and I really don't know if I capable of fighting against the biggest Empire in Milky Way."
Connie places her hand on his shoulder to comfort "Carnelian underestimates your power, Steven. There is still a lot of Gems who hates Carnelian's ideology and his reformed society."
"I don't know, Connie. Carnelian turned his people into real organic society. Imagine another planet with same freedom such ours. He wants to see Gems as like humans. Have kids and live in peace.
"That's sounds very ambitious." Connie scratches her cheek.
"Turning synthetic race into organic, your Grandpa is a crazy person. But seriously, did you saw Gems private-"
"Father!" Steven interrupts. He doesn't want to hear due to Yellow Diamond's presence near him.
"What?" Greg stops the van and looks at his son "Steven, you're 28 years old human. You grow up for this conversation. I'm asking you...Did you saw any Gemirians real private parts?" Greg finishes and starts driving his van.
"No, I don't! But I think that..."
"What?" Yellow Diamond asks him
Steven clears his throat and looks at her "Y-you...you have..."Them"
Yellow Diamond looks puzzled at Connie. Then she looks at Steven when she realized what he means "Oh! You mean this" She gently squeezes her clothed breasts, making Steven and Connie blush even more "They are mostly an image to Diamonds. I never understand why I need them"
"Well..." Connie begins "Humans are considered as mammals. Mammals have milk in them to feed their children. In human's anatomy, we called them as "breasts". We used them feed our kids.
"But why I need those, then?"
"Dunno. But you look like an organic alien girl from another planet. I still studying Gems cultural and in a fact that Gems look like humanoid race class.
"Hmm...Well, technically they do. I mean their body build is too female. So I guess-" Greg comments
"You know what I realized? You and Rose Quartz created me. So you should know well." Steven interrupts him
Greg cleared his throat "Well...she used my DNA." He blushed
"I calling this a "total Bullshit"
"Fine Steven, we created you through old human's style mating ritual. AND YES, she had female organs when we had private time, Are you happy?"
Greg mumbled under his nose. He then slammed his hand to the wheel "Amazing! A god damn checkpoint here
"We are so screwed"
"Don't worry. Let us talk." Connie pats her hand to his should
The Greg's Van slowly approached to the checkpoint. One of the Terra Novian soldiers shows the sign "stop". Greg stopped the van. Inspector approached and knocks the van's window. Greg lifts down the window.
"Your documents of Terra Nova citizenship please."
Connie leaves the van and shows her ID-card to the inspector and Greg's passport. Inspector grabs and checks it. "DR Maheswaren! What unexpected to see you outside Beach City.
"My old friend arrived from the Mars Colony." Connie smiles
"Really?" Inspector approached to back side of the van. He looked at Steven and Yellow Diamond who hugging at each other. "What's your name?" The inspector asks Steven
"Steven Universe" He simply answers
"And who is this?"
"It's a...my wife" Steven lies while sweating nervously little bit. It made Yellow Diamond puzzled
"Really? What's her name?"
"It's..."
"Celiana" Yellow Diamond interrupts him "My name is Celiana Universe"
"Celiana? That's a cute name. Sounds like a Celina to me, But Where both are you from?"
"Well...I'm originally from the colony Mars. I traveled to Homeworld and met her. I actually planned to show her Earth for our ten years anniversary"
"On the honeymoon? Aren't you? Well, I recommend visiting Empire City someday. Not like New-York but still is popular in Florida.
"Thank you, We will" Steven caress Yellow's hair.
"Oh and btw, Steven. I recommend registering your citizenship in Beach City. Sometimes Terra Novian soldier will ask you for this. It's due to problem with the FF group"
"A What?" Yellow Diamond asks
"Did our Colony stop communicating with the Earth?" Inspector scowled "FF is a terrorist group. They are claiming to make Earth independent again.
"Alright then, thanks for the advice."
Inspector nods. He then approached to Connie. "If it okay, if we check Citizenship of the Greg, Doctor?"
"Alright, we can wait."
Then he left to his small office. Connie approached Steven "Okay, that's weird," Steven says to her
"True. Btw, nice playing guys." She gives thumbs up to them
"Thanks, Connie. But why we need citizenship?"
"It's because Terra Nova controls all Earth. We don't need passports to pass the border. We only need to give a citizenship licenses and that's all"
"I hope you right." Steven narrowed his eyes
Few meters away from the checkpoint.
Two unknown soldiers hiding on the cliff, watching the checkpoint very carefully. They placed bombs under the bridge to stop the convoy with strange equipment that is about to reach in ten minutes. They all wearing blue armor with Earth symbol on the left shoulder pad. "Sir, there is a civilian van in front of our target." Rebel trooper says to officer
"Orders and orders. Blow them with the target."
"What Van?"
A soldier wearing full blue rebel armor. he grabs the binoculars and looks at the van. "Greg" He whispers
"You know him, Jamie?"
"Yes," Jamie quickly turns around to officer "Cancel the mission"
"What?" Officer asks harshly.
Jamie approached the officer with the angry thump. He leans his face to him "Cancel the fucking mission," he hissed.
The officer sigh "Alright fine. But the rest of the FF will not like this, Jamie"
"Then I will tell "Hi" to them personally"
All rebel troopers left their positions. Jamie looked at van from far away before disappearing into woods.
Back again to checkpoint.
The Inspector walked to Van with documents.
"There you go. Everything is fine. Welcome to Beach City."
"Thank you."
The road barrier rose for the Greg. He drives his van trough the Bridge. Inspector turns around to see convoy arrived. "You're early guys, you may proceed."
Then convoy passed the checkpoint without the problem and is passing the bridge with Greg's van. After the bridge, Convoy turned left while Greg drove forward to the tunnel. "So Connie, who are this FF group?"
"Freedom Fighters, They are claiming that Terra Nova is corrupt and tyrannical to Humans. They want to create a nation that doesn't listen to Gemirian Empire."
"Kind of like a global revolution?"
"Yeah, something like that...and don't think I support Terra Nove You can't trust them, Steven. I watched them how they executed family without a reason. They even shot baby to the head." Yellow Diamond slightly gasped. Celiana always loved small Gem-kids. She used to babysit some kids a long time ago.
They all remained silent until Greg broke awkward silent. "Are sure you don't want to listen to some music? There is a lot good stations right know."
Steven looks at Yellow "Do you want some music or you want to sleep a little bit, honey." Steven teased
Yellow Diamond get his game and smiled at him "I think I will listen to some music."
"Which you want guys, There is Terra Nova radio, Classics of 90, 2000 and 10….or Homeworld radio."
Let's listen to the Homeworld radio."
Greg turned his radio and changed it to Homeworld radio station.
"This is HOMEWORLD RADIO! The voice of Gemirians and their Empire. I'm DJ Pearl and I'm here to bring you some music. This one is "Base after Base": A small yet cheering up music. And remember: You know what Humans and Gems have the same abilities? You guessed it: The Dance movements"

"And one more thing: It's always bright day on Homeworld" Dj Pearl sing
"And now they have their own radio. The Gemirian Empire is really advanced for ten years." Steven smirked
"Still, the music is pretty cool." Connie relaxed.
Steven crossed his arms and relaxed. He is staring at the window. He still thinks about Lion. His favorite friend is dead by his own Grandfather. It reminds him one the games where you gain some powers in order to defeat the main villain of the game. He is thinking, is he going to face Carnelian in the end? Who knows...

The Temple of Diamond's Legacy.
Inside the temple, The Elder Diamond with his assistants doing their routine: maintaining gravestone, cleaning the script walls and everything to keep the spirits of Diamonds undisturbed.
His assistants are making a wall picture of the seventh Yellow Diamond. His only problem is to make a good pose of her. A long time ago, they made an incredible wall paint of the Previous Diamonds. But due to the last Diamonds had small accomplishments, it's harder.
Meanwhile, The Elder Diamond is training a noble soul the ways of Diamonds. Her name is Mia. An average Pureblood Gem in the empire.
She appeared two days to the temple. She wishes to become a Pink Diamond just like her friends, Zeira and Celiana. But she didn't expect that after becoming a Pink Diamond, She still need to practice her skills. For her, it's a total nightmare.
After becoming a Pink Diamond, Her body changed. Mostly, she became a complete pink colored Gem with freckles on her cheeks.
"Try hit calmer, Mia" Elder Diamond suggest the way to attacking.
Mia sighed and exhaled twice before attacking her teacher. She prepared her pink sword and began to attack him. Once the blades hit each other, Elder Diamond counters attack her. She lost her balance and fell on the floor. Elder Diamond pointed his blade to her head. "You need to practice more, Pink." He pulls his sword to his holster and offers her a hand "If this was a real fight, you would be dead"
"I know, Elder" She roses her feet "It just..."
"You afraid because of your friends?"
"Yes, Elder. I really worrying for Celiana and Zeira."
"And that a reason you want to become a Pink Diamond?"
"Not really, I always wanted to become Pink Diamond. But I never had the courage to do it"
"Nobody left this temple without becoming a real Diamond, Mia. I and Goddess herself will help you to become a real Pink Diamond just like Aura Quartz. But you should understand: Diamond is not always being powerful than others. Diamond is one who promised to protect Homeworld at any cost."
"I understand, Elder Diamond" Pink Diamond bows her head.
"Now, let me show-" His assistant ran up to him "Elder Diamond, We talked with others and you should know too"
"I'm listening,"
"We found a good place for one specific Diamond. It will be between Yellow Diamond' line and White Diamond's line gravestones.
"What Diamond, assistant?"
"The Red one, Elder" The Elder shivered slightly. He then looked Pink Diamond "Mia, rest a little bit. We will continue later."
Pink Diamond nodded and left them "Then let's go to the catacombs." He says to his assistant.
With the assistant, Elder Diamond left a big hall of the temple and entered the catacombs. They grabbed Red' Diamonds Gemstone's coffin and сcarried to the place. Once they were done. Elder Diamond placed near the place where the gravestone will be located. The others are attaching the Red Diamond's prophecy to the wall. "That's it? What about the rest of Red Diamond's?" His assistant asks
"There was only one Red Diamond in this history. She did her part and left this world to the Creators."
"What part?"
The Elder Diamond approached to the wall with a script "See these words?" He points to them. "It's the song of Red Diamond."

"So it means Red Diamond can come back?" Assistant asks him.
Elder Diamond smirks "Red Diamond can't, Assistant" He turns around and smiles at him "Red Diamond will come back to us sooner or later." He whispers.
2 hours later, Earth, Beach City

"Steven, wake up." Connie touches his arm.
"Hm?" He opens his eyes and yawned "Is something wrong?"
"We are arriving," Greg says
They reached the end of the tunnel. Then a Beach City show up for him, Steven can barely recognize it. The temple, the fun land, and others building are completely gone. The Beach City really became a bland town.
He gets a new notification on his Gem-Boy
Mission Completed: "Not My Homeworld"
What is that?" Connie asks him
"A Gem-Boy. It's kind like a little helper."
"Cool, I guess the Empire made it" Steven nodded to her. He then notices an old mountain where the temple supposed to be. Now it's a complete naked mountain with a lighthouse on it.
"What happened to the temple?"
"It was completely destroyed during the invasion, as far I know. They want to build a monument for Crystal Gems that died during the Rose Quartz rebellion." Connie explains
"Well...at least something" He cursed quietly
They drove a little bit. Then they reached to the Residential district. Nothing changed here, still same good old house. Greg parked his van near Connie's house. "Your old house, Connie?"
"And I proud of it" They got up from the van and approached the house. Connie pulled her keys and inserted the keys. With a click, they entered the house, it cozy and beautiful house.
"So that how normal human living space looks like?" Yellow Diamond asks Connie.
"Depends on the style, Yellow. I just love a small cozy house."
Yellow Diamond shrugs her shoulder "Fair point...I guess"
"Hmm, I could give some clothes if you want"
"What's the problem with my dress?"
"Nothing wrong, it just..." Connie looks at her dress "I don't know if completely torn up dress is fashion on Homeworld" She says with a small chuckle.
"And no wonder I'm such an idiot" Yellow hisses at herself "Then what you can give me?"
Connie approached her drawer and searches for the clothes "Well...OH!" She found some a yellow T-shirt and shorts.
"Here" She hands to her, "I think it will fit with your skin. For outdoors, you could wear a yellow sweater and brown pants if you want."
Yellow Diamond looked at it for a second and smiled at it "thank, you Connie. Where I can change my clothes?"
"Upstairs. There is a guest room"
Yellow Diamond went to upstairs. Connie sat on the couch, checking her medical reports. Greg went to his van and Steven checks the house. "Man, when I was here last time?" Steven asks as he checks everything.
"When we all around 18 years old. I guess it when my dad threw you out."
"For what?"
"Don't remember. For not telling him for our overnight I guess"
"When he also forbid you to train with me for a full week?"
Connie slightly smirked, "I was crying very loud when I heard that."
"You always enjoyed our practicing with Pearl"
"I sometimes miss them. They were more interesting than listening to my father's words"
"True indeed," Steven trailed off
Then again a silent until Connie broke it "Steven...I"
"MOMMY!" A little kid went downstairs and run to Connie embracing her tightly "Mommy! There is a strange yellow girl in my bedroom!"
"It's okay, Aveline. Yellow Diamond, What are you doing in Aveline's bedroom!" Connie screamed to her
"Nothing! I accidently entered her room. She woke up and called me a freak before running away!" Yellow screamed back
"Did you called her a freak?" Connie placed her hands on her hips, giving an angry expression to her daughter.
"Yes, mommy"
"Aveline...never call somebody a freak if they look different from everyone." Connie scolds at her daughter.
"Sorry, mommy"
Steven coughed slightly "Your kid, heh?"
"Oh yeah. Aveline, meet your uncle Steven. He was dearest friend from my childhood"
"Hey" Aveline shyly says
"Hey there, princess." Steven smiled at her. Yellow Diamond went downstairs. Aveline covered her face when she saw her. "You really afraid of me?" Yellow Diamond approached to Aveline
"Little bit" She muffled.
"Don't you find me little bit cute?"
"Well, your yellow color is cute," she says shyly
Yellow giggled "Come on, princess. I'll put you to your bed." Yellow Diamond gently grabbed Aveline from Connie and carried her to upstairs. "Never thought Yellow Diamond could be that person" Connie comments
"Yep...So, Aveline is your daughter?"
"She does"
"But who is your husband?"
"He is the lieutenant of Terra Novian army, his name is Jack. He is far away from us."
"And how old is Aveline?" Steven made his tone angrier
"She is six years old, Steven… and I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"The way you asking me, I feel your pain, Steven. I thought that you fighting against Homeworld in the Galaxy. I know you're angry at me right know..."
"Connie, I'm not angry at you. I'm really happy about your life. It's just...I'm really angry at myself that I lost a chance to be with you. I never had the courage to ask you."
Connie hugs herself "You're not alone, Steven. I didn't have courage too. But I hope we still can be friends."
Steven smiled at her "Of course. This doesn't change our friendship. We had been friends and always will be friends."
Connie hugs him "Thank you for understating. If you tired, there is guest room right next to the staircase. The only problem I have is a double-sized bed. You need to talk with Yellow Diamond"
"I will. So...untill tomorrow?"
"You mean "Goodnight?" She slightly laughed.
"Yeah...Goodnight. My brain doesn't work properly."
"Sleep well" She patted his shoulder before leaving to her kitchen.
Steven went to upstairs and to the guest room. Yellow Diamond is laying on the bed. She is reading some kind of book.
"Hey, Yellow. How is Aveline?"
"I sing her the prophecy of Yellow Diamond and she fell asleep in the middle of the song" She turned the next page of the book.
"The prophecy of Yellow Diamond?"
"A song describing Yellow Diamonds."
"Interesting...listen, there is only one bed-" Steven begins
"I don't mind" Yellow interrupts him.
"Sorry?"
"I never slept alone. My pearl always slept with me."
"Your Pearl slept with you? Why?"
"It's Homeworld's tradition. In answer to your question, I can sleep with you."
"Thanks" He smiles. Yellow Diamond nods and directs her attention to the book. Steven kicked his shoes off and lay on the bed. He looked at the ceiling before he closed his eyes and fell an asleep.
1 hour later.
"Steven?" Yellow Diamond poked her finger to his arms slightly. Steven yawned and turned around to her "Jesus, Yellow. It's…." He trails his look at the alarm clock "It's 7 of clock already"
"I know, but can you answer this. Do the friendships exist between female and male?
"I don't get it..."
"I read a book about where two girls loved one guy. There is one dialogue where one the girl tells him that friendship between female and male will transform into love."
"It's not always true, Yellow. It depends on their friendship. Of course, they can develop into love but before that, they don't love each other.
"Then who are we then?" Yellow asks while trailing her voice off in the end.
Steven smiles "Well, in a fact that you kissed me two times, said that you love me and other stuff, I think we are in the relationship."
Yellow Diamond laid her head on his chest "And I approve it...but I'm afraid for others."
"What do you mean?" He stroked her hair
"If I fell in love with you...then the others will. White Diamond is one hundred percent will try to steal you from me."
"If White Diamond will fall for me, then you need have a serious talk with her. I really don't want to broke anyone hearts."
"I understand...So, does mean you're my "Loved one" Gem?
"Loved one?"
"When Diamond really loves ordinary Gem. That Gem will be called "loved one" by others
"Well..." Steven chuckles "You could say that"
Yellow Diamond kissed him. Then she sits on the bed away from his side. She starts removing her clothes. She about to remove her bra but she turned her head to him.
"Don't peak." She said slightly in her erotic voice.
"Come on, you have a good spine, why I can't see it?' Steven teased her.
"If you will continue making me a happy Diamond, then you will see more than my spine, Steven." She put her nightgown on and laid to the bed. She hugs him and planted a kiss on his forehead "Sleep well, my love."
She laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes. She enjoys how his chest rises up and down.
She admits, She really loves him. She is probably first Yellow Diamond who loves that human. It's how all Yellow Diamonds were bastards to other species, it clearly makes her a unique Diamond.
"Steven" Yellow Diamond moaned in her sleep. Yellow blushed madly when she heard that, She definitely can't think him about a second. "Come on, Celiana, you can keep your mind off of him." She muffled to herself.
She closed her eyes again and fell sleep deeply. But even five minutes is not enough for her not to think about him.
And then...a dream happens for her.

Noveria, GRA's main base.
In the Snowy Wasteland, GRA is trying everything to fight back the Empire. White Diamond is watching the blizzard from her window. Ten years for GRA and her was really bad. They lost so many good agents and lost many battles. Carnelian's army is a lot stronger, more organized and more advanced than GRA's army…. And Purple Diamond is sick. Her gemstone's condition is gotten worst for ten years. She will not survive for too long for sure, that why she let White Diamond to be in charge on GRA.
For ten years, White Diamond changed a lot. She gained some wisdom and finally has fighting skills. She is strongly skilled in archery, making her deadly in the range. She also became more serious. Due to nine years commanding the GRA, She experienced a lot of death and suffering, She managed to overcome them and continue her duty.
Then one of the GRA soldiers entered her room with files. "Fresh reports, my Diamond."
"Thank you, soldier." White Diamond grabs the files
The GRA soldier salutes and left her room. White Diamond begins to read them. Then she covered her mouth when she read the last part.
GRA's hangar.
"Finally some good news." She entered the hangar. She made 360 turns to find Colonel Topaz. Once she finds her, she approached to her "Topaz, Where is Corporal Gray?"
Topaz pointed to a Gemdler soldier who is having a chat with short purple Quartz Gem and others. "Thank you, Topaz." White nodded to her
White then approached to Gray. They all having a conversation about Phantom Pearls. "Amethyst, others...please leave us for now."
"Eh, sure no problem" Amethyst went away with others.
Once they left from her sight, she looked at Gray and said "Steven Universe escaped from Carnelian. I need you to travel the Earth and find him...and bring him here."
"Can I bring Amethyst with me?"
"No"
"Then why only me?" Gray annoyingly asks

Gray left to Colonel Topaz for detail instructions. "Is a good thing to send one soldier, My Diamond?" Blue Pearl approached to White Diamond.
White Diamond gazed at her "Grey is special. He is a Gemdler. They can use their brains and emotions...that make them special. Carnelian knew that Gemdlers would be good fighters. That's why he replaced Quartz and Rubies with Gemdler's army."
"I hope you right, my Diamond"
"We all hope" She trails off.
8, October 2027 AD, 05:01 (Earth's Time)
Earth, 898m from Beach City.
After some time, Steven explained Connie and Greg what happened that day. From Blue Diamond's meeting to the escape. Connie stood quietly, listening every inch of his words. Greg listened to him while concentrating on the road. Even Yellow Diamond listened to him carefully.
"Then We crashed into this forest and searched for the road for nearly three hours." Steven finishes his tale.
Connie rubs her eyes slowly "Jesus," She slightly cursed "You both been through a lot"
"Yeah, but what about you Guys, What happened to Earth?"
"A goddamn Invasion happened, Steven. The entire armada of ships, tanks, and Gem soldiers invaded every part of Earth."
"I was there when it happened, Steven. Ten minutes passed since my arrival to Beach City and the entire fleets hovered over the town. They destroyed your temple, killed Lion and steal your bubbles and everything.
"How long did the Earth fought back?" Steven asks again, he is slightly interested.
"Only full week. Then the entire world surrendered to them. Then they started killing entire populations of Muslims, Jews and Chinese. They claimed they are helping for Earth's stability. If you saw Ottoman territories of Saudia Arabia, Cities such as Mecca and Medina are fully abandoned. Same goes with China." Connie finishes
"We all hoped that you and Crystal Gems would save us. We all thought that you were captured by Yellow Diamond...not some weird Grandpa of yours." Greg adds.
Yellow Diamond chuckles slightly "I more like" She air quotes "Straddled" him rather than captured him."
Connie confusingly raised her eyebrow "I...I really don't know what are you implementing, my Diamond"
Yellow Diamond slightly rolled her eyes "I'm just a joking. But in other words: I helped him to escape from my soldiers.
"Are they your soldiers?" Connie asks
"They were my soldiers" Yellow shrugs her shoulders "Then they decided to join a new Empire. It's funny how Gems never tried to rebel against us. The last Diamond Authority was considered to be the weakest for the entire history of the Diamond Authorities"
"So you saying there was many Diamond Authorities?"
"Yep, I'm sixth Yellow Diamond from the line of Yellows"
"Then who was fifth and fourth?" Greg asks her.
"The fifth was my father who died by Rose Quartz. The fourth one was my grandmother which was so badass in the court." Yellow slightly fanboyed.
"Hmm, when I was a kid, I saw some strange painting on the walls. They look like Diamonds" Steven calmly says
"You mean them?" Connie shows a picture of the Diamond Authority wall paintings on her phone.
Yellow Diamond looks the picture "Hmm, Those paintings? pfff. They are a just pile of nonsense. They just made to scare Gems."
"So it's drawing of you?" Connie asks
"Of course not. I don't look like a grumpy grandma with a strange neck. White Diamond doesn't have a spiky hair and Blue Diamond...He even doesn't look like a woman with long hair. Aura looks different here from what I remember her appearance." Yellow explains.
"Then who are they?" Connie asks again, showing her interest in the wall paintings
"I guess its fourth generation of Diamonds. The fourth and fifth Generation were the strongest in the timeline."
"So Carnelian used your weakness to fulfill his evil plans? That Gem is the smartest one" Greg comments
Steven crossed his arms. "It looks like Carnelian always has a high ground, Father. Centipeetle is captured, Lion is dead, Crystal Gems are officially disbanded and Earth is captured. The rebellion is gone, and I really don't know if I capable of fighting against the biggest Empire in Milky Way."
Connie places her hand on his shoulder to comfort "Carnelian underestimates your power, Steven. There is still a lot of Gems who hates Carnelian's ideology and his reformed society."
"I don't know, Connie. Carnelian turned his people into real organic society. Imagine another planet with same freedom such ours. He wants to see Gems as like humans. Have kids and live in peace.
"That's sounds very ambitious." Connie scratches her cheek.
"Turning synthetic race into organic, your Grandpa is a crazy person. But seriously, did you saw Gems private-"
"Father!" Steven interrupts. He doesn't want to hear due to Yellow Diamond's presence near him.
"What?" Greg stops the van and looks at his son "Steven, you're 28 years old human. You grow up for this conversation. I'm asking you...Did you saw any Gemirians real private parts?" Greg finishes and starts driving his van.
"No, I don't! But I think that..."
"What?" Yellow Diamond asks him
Steven clears his throat and looks at her "Y-you...you have..."Them"
Yellow Diamond looks puzzled at Connie. Then she looks at Steven when she realized what he means "Oh! You mean this" She gently squeezes her clothed breasts, making Steven and Connie blush even more "They are mostly an image to Diamonds. I never understand why I need them"
"Well..." Connie begins "Humans are considered as mammals. Mammals have milk in them to feed their children. In human's anatomy, we called them as "breasts". We used them feed our kids.
"But why I need those, then?"
"Dunno. But you look like an organic alien girl from another planet. I still studying Gems cultural and in a fact that Gems look like humanoid race class.
"Hmm...Well, technically they do. I mean their body build is too female. So I guess-" Greg comments
"You know what I realized? You and Rose Quartz created me. So you should know well." Steven interrupts him
Greg cleared his throat "Well...she used my DNA." He blushed
"I calling this a "total Bullshit"

Greg mumbled under his nose. He then slammed his hand to the wheel "Amazing! A god damn checkpoint here

The Greg's Van slowly approached to the checkpoint. One of the Terra Novian soldiers shows the sign "stop". Greg stopped the van. Inspector approached and knocks the van's window. Greg lifts down the window.
"Your documents of Terra Nova citizenship please."
Connie leaves the van and shows her ID-card to the inspector and Greg's passport. Inspector grabs and checks it. "DR Maheswaren! What unexpected to see you outside Beach City.
"My old friend arrived from the Mars Colony." Connie smiles
"Really?" Inspector approached to back side of the van. He looked at Steven and Yellow Diamond who hugging at each other. "What's your name?" The inspector asks Steven
"Steven Universe" He simply answers
"And who is this?"
"It's a...my wife" Steven lies while sweating nervously little bit. It made Yellow Diamond puzzled
"Really? What's her name?"
"It's..."
"Celiana" Yellow Diamond interrupts him "My name is Celiana Universe"
"Celiana? That's a cute name. Sounds like a Celina to me, But Where both are you from?"
"Well...I'm originally from the colony Mars. I traveled to Homeworld and met her. I actually planned to show her Earth for our ten years anniversary"
"On the honeymoon? Aren't you? Well, I recommend visiting Empire City someday. Not like New-York but still is popular in Florida.
"Thank you, We will" Steven caress Yellow's hair.
"Oh and btw, Steven. I recommend registering your citizenship in Beach City. Sometimes Terra Novian soldier will ask you for this. It's due to problem with the FF group"
"A What?" Yellow Diamond asks
"Did our Colony stop communicating with the Earth?" Inspector scowled "FF is a terrorist group. They are claiming to make Earth independent again.
"Alright then, thanks for the advice."
Inspector nods. He then approached to Connie. "If it okay, if we check Citizenship of the Greg, Doctor?"
"Alright, we can wait."
Then he left to his small office. Connie approached Steven "Okay, that's weird," Steven says to her
"True. Btw, nice playing guys." She gives thumbs up to them
"Thanks, Connie. But why we need citizenship?"
"It's because Terra Nova controls all Earth. We don't need passports to pass the border. We only need to give a citizenship licenses and that's all"
"I hope you right." Steven narrowed his eyes
Few meters away from the checkpoint.
Two unknown soldiers hiding on the cliff, watching the checkpoint very carefully. They placed bombs under the bridge to stop the convoy with strange equipment that is about to reach in ten minutes. They all wearing blue armor with Earth symbol on the left shoulder pad. "Sir, there is a civilian van in front of our target." Rebel trooper says to officer
"Orders and orders. Blow them with the target."
"What Van?"
A soldier wearing full blue rebel armor. he grabs the binoculars and looks at the van. "Greg" He whispers
"You know him, Jamie?"
"Yes," Jamie quickly turns around to officer "Cancel the mission"
"What?" Officer asks harshly.
Jamie approached the officer with the angry thump. He leans his face to him "Cancel the fucking mission," he hissed.
The officer sigh "Alright fine. But the rest of the FF will not like this, Jamie"
"Then I will tell "Hi" to them personally"
All rebel troopers left their positions. Jamie looked at van from far away before disappearing into woods.
Back again to checkpoint.
The Inspector walked to Van with documents.
"There you go. Everything is fine. Welcome to Beach City."
"Thank you."
The road barrier rose for the Greg. He drives his van trough the Bridge. Inspector turns around to see convoy arrived. "You're early guys, you may proceed."
Then convoy passed the checkpoint without the problem and is passing the bridge with Greg's van. After the bridge, Convoy turned left while Greg drove forward to the tunnel. "So Connie, who are this FF group?"
"Freedom Fighters, They are claiming that Terra Nova is corrupt and tyrannical to Humans. They want to create a nation that doesn't listen to Gemirian Empire."
"Kind of like a global revolution?"
"Yeah, something like that...and don't think I support Terra Nove You can't trust them, Steven. I watched them how they executed family without a reason. They even shot baby to the head." Yellow Diamond slightly gasped. Celiana always loved small Gem-kids. She used to babysit some kids a long time ago.
They all remained silent until Greg broke awkward silent. "Are sure you don't want to listen to some music? There is a lot good stations right know."
Steven looks at Yellow "Do you want some music or you want to sleep a little bit, honey." Steven teased
Yellow Diamond get his game and smiled at him "I think I will listen to some music."
"Which you want guys, There is Terra Nova radio, Classics of 90, 2000 and 10….or Homeworld radio."
Let's listen to the Homeworld radio."
Greg turned his radio and changed it to Homeworld radio station.
"This is HOMEWORLD RADIO! The voice of Gemirians and their Empire. I'm DJ Pearl and I'm here to bring you some music. This one is "Base after Base": A small yet cheering up music. And remember: You know what Humans and Gems have the same abilities? You guessed it: The Dance movements"

"And now they have their own radio. The Gemirian Empire is really advanced for ten years." Steven smirked
"Still, the music is pretty cool." Connie relaxed.
Steven crossed his arms and relaxed. He is staring at the window. He still thinks about Lion. His favorite friend is dead by his own Grandfather. It reminds him one the games where you gain some powers in order to defeat the main villain of the game. He is thinking, is he going to face Carnelian in the end? Who knows...

The Temple of Diamond's Legacy.
Inside the temple, The Elder Diamond with his assistants doing their routine: maintaining gravestone, cleaning the script walls and everything to keep the spirits of Diamonds undisturbed.
His assistants are making a wall picture of the seventh Yellow Diamond. His only problem is to make a good pose of her. A long time ago, they made an incredible wall paint of the Previous Diamonds. But due to the last Diamonds had small accomplishments, it's harder.
Meanwhile, The Elder Diamond is training a noble soul the ways of Diamonds. Her name is Mia. An average Pureblood Gem in the empire.
She appeared two days to the temple. She wishes to become a Pink Diamond just like her friends, Zeira and Celiana. But she didn't expect that after becoming a Pink Diamond, She still need to practice her skills. For her, it's a total nightmare.
After becoming a Pink Diamond, Her body changed. Mostly, she became a complete pink colored Gem with freckles on her cheeks.
"Try hit calmer, Mia" Elder Diamond suggest the way to attacking.
Mia sighed and exhaled twice before attacking her teacher. She prepared her pink sword and began to attack him. Once the blades hit each other, Elder Diamond counters attack her. She lost her balance and fell on the floor. Elder Diamond pointed his blade to her head. "You need to practice more, Pink." He pulls his sword to his holster and offers her a hand "If this was a real fight, you would be dead"
"I know, Elder" She roses her feet "It just..."
"You afraid because of your friends?"
"Yes, Elder. I really worrying for Celiana and Zeira."
"And that a reason you want to become a Pink Diamond?"
"Not really, I always wanted to become Pink Diamond. But I never had the courage to do it"
"Nobody left this temple without becoming a real Diamond, Mia. I and Goddess herself will help you to become a real Pink Diamond just like Aura Quartz. But you should understand: Diamond is not always being powerful than others. Diamond is one who promised to protect Homeworld at any cost."
"I understand, Elder Diamond" Pink Diamond bows her head.
"Now, let me show-" His assistant ran up to him "Elder Diamond, We talked with others and you should know too"

"We found a good place for one specific Diamond. It will be between Yellow Diamond' line and White Diamond's line gravestones.
"What Diamond, assistant?"
"The Red one, Elder" The Elder shivered slightly. He then looked Pink Diamond "Mia, rest a little bit. We will continue later."
Pink Diamond nodded and left them "Then let's go to the catacombs." He says to his assistant.
With the assistant, Elder Diamond left a big hall of the temple and entered the catacombs. They grabbed Red' Diamonds Gemstone's coffin and сcarried to the place. Once they were done. Elder Diamond placed near the place where the gravestone will be located. The others are attaching the Red Diamond's prophecy to the wall. "That's it? What about the rest of Red Diamond's?" His assistant asks
"There was only one Red Diamond in this history. She did her part and left this world to the Creators."
"What part?"
The Elder Diamond approached to the wall with a script "See these words?" He points to them. "It's the song of Red Diamond."

2 hours later, Earth, Beach City

"Steven, wake up." Connie touches his arm.
"Hm?" He opens his eyes and yawned "Is something wrong?"
"We are arriving," Greg says
They reached the end of the tunnel. Then a Beach City show up for him, Steven can barely recognize it. The temple, the fun land, and others building are completely gone. The Beach City really became a bland town.
He gets a new notification on his Gem-Boy
Mission Completed: "Not My Homeworld"
What is that?" Connie asks him
"A Gem-Boy. It's kind like a little helper."
"Cool, I guess the Empire made it" Steven nodded to her. He then notices an old mountain where the temple supposed to be. Now it's a complete naked mountain with a lighthouse on it.
"What happened to the temple?"
"It was completely destroyed during the invasion, as far I know. They want to build a monument for Crystal Gems that died during the Rose Quartz rebellion." Connie explains
"Well...at least something" He cursed quietly
They drove a little bit. Then they reached to the Residential district. Nothing changed here, still same good old house. Greg parked his van near Connie's house. "Your old house, Connie?"
"And I proud of it" They got up from the van and approached the house. Connie pulled her keys and inserted the keys. With a click, they entered the house, it cozy and beautiful house.
"So that how normal human living space looks like?" Yellow Diamond asks Connie.
"Depends on the style, Yellow. I just love a small cozy house."
Yellow Diamond shrugs her shoulder "Fair point...I guess"
"Hmm, I could give some clothes if you want"
"What's the problem with my dress?"
"Nothing wrong, it just..." Connie looks at her dress "I don't know if completely torn up dress is fashion on Homeworld" She says with a small chuckle.
"And no wonder I'm such an idiot" Yellow hisses at herself "Then what you can give me?"
Connie approached her drawer and searches for the clothes "Well...OH!" She found some a yellow T-shirt and shorts.
"Here" She hands to her, "I think it will fit with your skin. For outdoors, you could wear a yellow sweater and brown pants if you want."
Yellow Diamond looked at it for a second and smiled at it "thank, you Connie. Where I can change my clothes?"
"Upstairs. There is a guest room"
Yellow Diamond went to upstairs. Connie sat on the couch, checking her medical reports. Greg went to his van and Steven checks the house. "Man, when I was here last time?" Steven asks as he checks everything.
"When we all around 18 years old. I guess it when my dad threw you out."
"For what?"
"Don't remember. For not telling him for our overnight I guess"
"When he also forbid you to train with me for a full week?"
Connie slightly smirked, "I was crying very loud when I heard that."
"You always enjoyed our practicing with Pearl"
"I sometimes miss them. They were more interesting than listening to my father's words"
"True indeed," Steven trailed off
Then again a silent until Connie broke it "Steven...I"
"MOMMY!" A little kid went downstairs and run to Connie embracing her tightly "Mommy! There is a strange yellow girl in my bedroom!"
"It's okay, Aveline. Yellow Diamond, What are you doing in Aveline's bedroom!" Connie screamed to her
"Nothing! I accidently entered her room. She woke up and called me a freak before running away!" Yellow screamed back
"Did you called her a freak?" Connie placed her hands on her hips, giving an angry expression to her daughter.
"Yes, mommy"
"Aveline...never call somebody a freak if they look different from everyone." Connie scolds at her daughter.
"Sorry, mommy"
Steven coughed slightly "Your kid, heh?"
"Oh yeah. Aveline, meet your uncle Steven. He was dearest friend from my childhood"
"Hey" Aveline shyly says
"Hey there, princess." Steven smiled at her. Yellow Diamond went downstairs. Aveline covered her face when she saw her. "You really afraid of me?" Yellow Diamond approached to Aveline
"Little bit" She muffled.
"Don't you find me little bit cute?"
"Well, your yellow color is cute," she says shyly
Yellow giggled "Come on, princess. I'll put you to your bed." Yellow Diamond gently grabbed Aveline from Connie and carried her to upstairs. "Never thought Yellow Diamond could be that person" Connie comments
"Yep...So, Aveline is your daughter?"
"She does"
"But who is your husband?"
"He is the lieutenant of Terra Novian army, his name is Jack. He is far away from us."
"And how old is Aveline?" Steven made his tone angrier
"She is six years old, Steven… and I'm sorry."
"For what?"
"The way you asking me, I feel your pain, Steven. I thought that you fighting against Homeworld in the Galaxy. I know you're angry at me right know..."
"Connie, I'm not angry at you. I'm really happy about your life. It's just...I'm really angry at myself that I lost a chance to be with you. I never had the courage to ask you."
Connie hugs herself "You're not alone, Steven. I didn't have courage too. But I hope we still can be friends."
Steven smiled at her "Of course. This doesn't change our friendship. We had been friends and always will be friends."
Connie hugs him "Thank you for understating. If you tired, there is guest room right next to the staircase. The only problem I have is a double-sized bed. You need to talk with Yellow Diamond"
"I will. So...untill tomorrow?"
"You mean "Goodnight?" She slightly laughed.
"Yeah...Goodnight. My brain doesn't work properly."
"Sleep well" She patted his shoulder before leaving to her kitchen.
Steven went to upstairs and to the guest room. Yellow Diamond is laying on the bed. She is reading some kind of book.
"Hey, Yellow. How is Aveline?"
"I sing her the prophecy of Yellow Diamond and she fell asleep in the middle of the song" She turned the next page of the book.
"The prophecy of Yellow Diamond?"
"A song describing Yellow Diamonds."
"Interesting...listen, there is only one bed-" Steven begins
"I don't mind" Yellow interrupts him.
"Sorry?"
"I never slept alone. My pearl always slept with me."
"Your Pearl slept with you? Why?"
"It's Homeworld's tradition. In answer to your question, I can sleep with you."
"Thanks" He smiles. Yellow Diamond nods and directs her attention to the book. Steven kicked his shoes off and lay on the bed. He looked at the ceiling before he closed his eyes and fell an asleep.
1 hour later.
"Steven?" Yellow Diamond poked her finger to his arms slightly. Steven yawned and turned around to her "Jesus, Yellow. It's…." He trails his look at the alarm clock "It's 7 of clock already"
"I know, but can you answer this. Do the friendships exist between female and male?
"I don't get it..."
"I read a book about where two girls loved one guy. There is one dialogue where one the girl tells him that friendship between female and male will transform into love."
"It's not always true, Yellow. It depends on their friendship. Of course, they can develop into love but before that, they don't love each other.
"Then who are we then?" Yellow asks while trailing her voice off in the end.
Steven smiles "Well, in a fact that you kissed me two times, said that you love me and other stuff, I think we are in the relationship."
Yellow Diamond laid her head on his chest "And I approve it...but I'm afraid for others."
"What do you mean?" He stroked her hair
"If I fell in love with you...then the others will. White Diamond is one hundred percent will try to steal you from me."
"If White Diamond will fall for me, then you need have a serious talk with her. I really don't want to broke anyone hearts."
"I understand...So, does mean you're my "Loved one" Gem?
"Loved one?"
"When Diamond really loves ordinary Gem. That Gem will be called "loved one" by others
"Well..." Steven chuckles "You could say that"
Yellow Diamond kissed him. Then she sits on the bed away from his side. She starts removing her clothes. She about to remove her bra but she turned her head to him.
"Don't peak." She said slightly in her erotic voice.
"Come on, you have a good spine, why I can't see it?' Steven teased her.
"If you will continue making me a happy Diamond, then you will see more than my spine, Steven." She put her nightgown on and laid to the bed. She hugs him and planted a kiss on his forehead "Sleep well, my love."
She laid her head on his chest and closed her eyes. She enjoys how his chest rises up and down.
She admits, She really loves him. She is probably first Yellow Diamond who loves that human. It's how all Yellow Diamonds were bastards to other species, it clearly makes her a unique Diamond.
"Steven" Yellow Diamond moaned in her sleep. Yellow blushed madly when she heard that, She definitely can't think him about a second. "Come on, Celiana, you can keep your mind off of him." She muffled to herself.
She closed her eyes again and fell sleep deeply. But even five minutes is not enough for her not to think about him.
And then...a dream happens for her.

In the Snowy Wasteland, GRA is trying everything to fight back the Empire. White Diamond is watching the blizzard from her window. Ten years for GRA and her was really bad. They lost so many good agents and lost many battles. Carnelian's army is a lot stronger, more organized and more advanced than GRA's army…. And Purple Diamond is sick. Her gemstone's condition is gotten worst for ten years. She will not survive for too long for sure, that why she let White Diamond to be in charge on GRA.
For ten years, White Diamond changed a lot. She gained some wisdom and finally has fighting skills. She is strongly skilled in archery, making her deadly in the range. She also became more serious. Due to nine years commanding the GRA, She experienced a lot of death and suffering, She managed to overcome them and continue her duty.
Then one of the GRA soldiers entered her room with files. "Fresh reports, my Diamond."
"Thank you, soldier." White Diamond grabs the files
The GRA soldier salutes and left her room. White Diamond begins to read them. Then she covered her mouth when she read the last part.
GRA's hangar.
"Finally some good news." She entered the hangar. She made 360 turns to find Colonel Topaz. Once she finds her, she approached to her "Topaz, Where is Corporal Gray?"
Topaz pointed to a Gemdler soldier who is having a chat with short purple Quartz Gem and others. "Thank you, Topaz." White nodded to her
White then approached to Gray. They all having a conversation about Phantom Pearls. "Amethyst, others...please leave us for now."
"Eh, sure no problem" Amethyst went away with others.
Once they left from her sight, she looked at Gray and said "Steven Universe escaped from Carnelian. I need you to travel the Earth and find him...and bring him here."
"Can I bring Amethyst with me?"
"No"
"Then why only me?" Gray annoyingly asks
"Because the Empire doesn't know that you're a traitor for them. You have a great chance to retrieve him back to his friends. Please, Gray...do it not for us...but for your freedom from the Empire."
Gray sighs in defeated "I will, my Diamond. But I need a good bar after this" He joked.
"Thank you Gray, and May the creators have blessings for you." She ignored his joke
Gray left to Colonel Topaz for detail instructions. "Is a good thing to send one soldier, My Diamond?" Blue Pearl approached to White Diamond.
White Diamond gazed at her "Grey is special. He is a Gemdler. They can use their brains and emotions...that make them special. Carnelian knew that Gemdlers would be good fighters. That's why he replaced Quartz and Rubies with Gemdler's army."
"I hope you right, my Diamond"
"We all hope" She trails off.
