A/N: Hey everyone, this chapter has come a little later than usual because I've also been working on a chapter for my other story. But you get a hopefully enjoyable nice Halloween story and some Lynncoln!
As an aside, does the “Section Break” parts bother anyone? Due to FF.net's weird formatting I couldn't figure out any other way to say we're switching scenes!
Irwin voice: “Sorry that was a strange thing to ask”
After the first fight Lucy and Lincoln experienced in their relationship, after Lincoln said words to Clyde he wished he never had, time passed.
Lincoln did make amends to Clyde, just as he hoped, just as he promised. It was a very frank conversation, Lincoln managed to convince his best friend he just didn't want to try and push things with Ronnie Anne. He didn't want to jump into anything, especially without them having seen one another in person for so long.
Clyde accepted this, he accepted his best friends insecurity on the issue, and the very important point about the two of them having not seen one another in person yet. But Clyde couldn't help and think there had to be something more to it. Something Lincoln wasn't talking about. There was something else there, otherwise he knew Lincoln would be talking about a planned trip to go and see Ronnie Anne next.
He knew his best friend too well. He knew Ronnie Anne was the best girlfriend Lincoln had ever had, he knew the history between them, he knew the feelings between them. But Lincoln wasn't talking about any planned visits. Something else was going on. Something Clyde had the faintest inklings of suspecting, but something his conscious mind did not want to entertain. So for now, it was put on the back burner.
Instead two weeks passed blissfully with Lincoln and Lucy now together. Over that period of time they would sneak into each other's rooms in order to express their love for one another. They would use any excuse to leave the house together. Dad forgot something at the grocery store? Lincoln and Lucy would get it. Lana and Lola needed to be picked up from their friends house? Lucy would go with Lincoln to get them. Lincoln needed to go to the comic book store? Well Lucy had something there she wanted too. Lucy was hanging out with her club? Lincoln would go pick her up. So it went, with the two of them spending time watching things together, going places together, and even simply existing together quietly doing separate activities.
Lucy had also decided her blonde phase had gone on long enough, and returned her hair to what she considered to be it's 'natural' color, coal black. She had to thank the golden blonde locks in doing their job, knocking Lincoln's reasoning off just enough to help her slip past his defenses, but now it was time to go back to her true self.
The two teens spent every moment they could in each other's embrace, in each other's arms. The taboo of being siblings having fallen away into tatters. On some level Lincoln still knew, he still accepted, Lucy was his little sister. Lucy was his family, and it still ate at him, but she became Lucy his girlfriend more than Lucy his little sister.
His intense, sexy, deep, emotional, girlfriend. The relationship with her was truly different from the others he had. The only one that compared was with Ronnie Anne in terms of how enjoyable it was.
With Ronnie Anne there was always a feeling of relaxed enjoyment, a comforting warm love that surrounded him. Ronnie and Lincoln were friends as well as lovers, they could go from mutually enjoying something as friends, only to embrace a deeper connection thanks to their status as lovers. Things could be intensely romantic between them, passionate in the right moments. Something would draw them together like magnets and they would be lost in each other's embrace. But conversely, things could also be simply fun, affectionate and easy going with them as well. Ronnie and Lincoln also liked to tease one another too, they were a playful couple, with Ronnie Anne doing the majority of the teasing, but always from a place of love. She loved picking on her favorite boy, and Lincoln was only to happy to be the recipient of her 'bullying'.
With Lucy, things were different. There was always a quiet low level intense passion that surrounded them. Every touch was heartfelt, every look one of longing, every kiss full of devotion. He shared things with Lucy, just as he did with Ronnie, different things, but things he enjoyed all the same. But at the heart of it, everything was like one of Lucy's gothic romance novels. He never forgot that Lucy was his lover, his deep, emotional companion. Maybe it was the taboo nature of their relationship or having to sneak around, but everything involving them carried a hidden sexual and romantic undercurrent. Every moment apart felt like eternity, and every reunion joyous and better than the last.
He enjoyed it regardless, and he knew Lucy did too. The weeks passed almost blissfully with the two of them waking one another up, sleeping in each other's beds, feeling the passion and pleasure of joining each other in the contact of their flesh. Lincoln's emotions still felt confused, he still felt a sword of Damocles hanging over his head, a worry that everything could become unraveled at any moment and yet... when he was alone with Lucy, when she held his hand, when she kissed him, when they laid naked together their arms entwined, nothing else mattered but one another.
Halloween eventually came.
It was the favorite Holiday of the entire Loud family (Well, except Lynn Sr, the family Patriarch who always had trouble with scary things), and something Lucy typically looked forward to more than anything else, setting up a haunted house or corn maze, recruiting her siblings and family to play special roles in scaring the neighborhood and doing her best to put all the fright she could into the special day. But this year, Lucy did something decidingly different.
Oh she still supervised the decoration of the Loud family front lawn and house. She still made sure it looked absolutely terrifying in all respects, but the truth was, she didn't plan on running a haunted attraction this year. She had different plans, she wanted to spend her Halloween with the most special person in her life, her big brother Lincoln.
Of course, Lincoln had his plans set from the get go. Ever since he crossed the magical age barrier where he was too old to trick or treat, he had become the defacto sibling in charge of taking Lily trick or treating.
It was something the adorable baby of the family always looked forward to. Clyde and Lincoln had enjoyed dressing up and taking Lily trick or treating a couple of times ever since they became too old to do so themselves. Clyde was all but a big brother to Lily too and she loved being escorted by her two favorite boys in the world.
No Lincoln had been there for all of Lily's Halloweens except for one, the one he spent in Great Lakes City with Ronnie Anne when they had been a couple. That Halloween had been one of Lincoln's favorites, not only of course for spending it with his girlfriend at the time, and having an awesome couple costume, but for seeing how the big city celebrated the spooky Holiday.
Which was why Lucy was so insistent on spending this Halloween entirely with Lincoln and going with him to take Lily Trick or Treating. She was well aware of the Halloween he had spent with Ronnie Anne, and she needed to show as his girlfriend and future wife (She didn't care what the legal system said, she would be his wife, they would have a ceremony dammit) she was just as capable. Not just as capable, but superior.
Sure, Ronnie Anne and her family with their Mexican heritage and traditions had claim to the Day of the Dead and everything that was so absolutely wonderful about it that Lucy truly respected and admired. But, the Loud family were from Scottish Stock, and the Gaelic traditions of Halloween were where everything started, and she needed to PROVE she was superior, the spooky holiday was European in origin, and Lucy would show she could do it better with Lincoln than Ronnie could.
Of course, Lincoln didn't care about any of that. The Day of the Dead was awesome and both solemn and joyrful in his opinion, just as Halloween was too. What mattered most to him was all the cool spooky stuff, but more importantly, making sure he did his proper duty as a big brother and helped Lily get all the Candy she would need for the rest of the year.
Lily Loud continued to be Lincoln's guiding star. His youngest sister, his sweetest and most innocent. It was a mantra he said to himself over and over again, more so in recent days than any other...If Lily still approved of him, he wasn't all bad. He needed to do right by Lily. He understood, with their age difference compared to her other siblings, she viewed him as her true “eldest”. He had been around longer than the other older sisters when it came to what she could remember, and his status as the only male made him stand out more.
The fact he'd been taking her trick or treating since she turned 5 wasn't lost on her either. Lily loved her big brother in the entirely sweet and innocent way the youngest sibling could only reserve for the eldest. Lincoln may have viewed himself as a hopeless dork, but in Lily's eyes he was the coolest person in the world.
Of all the things to dress up as, Lincoln had decided he wanted to go as a Vampire this Halloween. Yes, Lucy had been a big influence on that, while she had never stated or even hinted at wanting him to do so, he knew how much his sister now girlfriend liked the fictional creatures of the night and the themes behind them. Not that Lincoln didn't think vampires couldn't be cool, they really could be, but a part of him had wanted to do it, just because he knew how much Lucy would enjoy it.
His choice of Vampire had been one from a popular 1980s movie, one that had come out when his parents were young teens, but remained a cult classic all the same. With a long black coat, his hair cut into a mullet (Lincoln was going to get it cut down anyway the next day) some contacts and fangs, some earrings and other accouterments, he was a lost boy in the modern world.
Lucy had absolutely loved it. He wasn't Edwin, but the fact her brother was dressing up as a vampire, and one of the most iconic film ones had set her afire. His white hair was close enough to the actor's Platinum blonde he didn't need to add any dye to it.
Of course, knowing her big brother was going as a Vampire, even if it wasn't the vampire from her favorite series, Lucy could only follow suit. She didn't see any problems in going as Griselda from Vampires of Melancholia, while Griselda was supposed to be Edwin's lover, she could moonlight dating a Lost boy for a night.
Of course, once Lily knew the theme was vampires, she wanted to participate as well. Lily typically liked to dress up like the Heroines from her favorite animes and shows, but with her big brother and big sister being vampires, she decided she wanted to be a creature of the night too.
Lily decided she wanted to be the Princess of all Vampires, daughter of the lord of darkness himself...as she had appeared in a string of children's movies starring Adam Sandler. A black wig, some fangs and black lipstick, a black dress borrowed from Lucy when she was younger, striped stockings and red shoes and she looked the part adorably.
With the way Lincoln and Lucy were dressed, it almost appeared she was with her 'mother and father' vampires. It wasn't lost on either Lucy or Lincoln the way they appeared with Lily and they fully embraced it.
Lily for her part, didn't seem to think there was anything wrong with the way Lucy and her brother Lincoln were acting. It was all Halloween after all, all for fun. So if Lucy was Vampire Mom and Lincoln was Vampire Dad, then so be it, she was vampire daughter, and she was having so much fun with that.
The two of them walked behind Lily as she eagerly ran from house to house getting her candy. Their arms were entwined, deciding they could play it off as getting into the character of their costumes if anyone they knew asked any questions.
But it felt so romantic, and almost magical to both. The streets of their neighborhood alive with ghosts, goblins and ghouls of all different ages running about. Houses decorated to look as spooky as they could be, the sounds of horror being played on speakers at different residences. There were parties going on, and children smiling as their treat bags filled up.
This year's Halloween was a particularly clear and warm night. Halloween in Michigan could always be a crap shoot, sometimes it was perfect and beautiful, with a bright moon and weather just warm enough to make trick or treating a delight. Other times it was cold, dreary and raining.
Thankfully this year it was the former, and Lucy attributed it to the magic that was telling her everything was exactly the way it was supposed to be. Lincoln also looked....really hot.
It helped her brother was handsome, it helped their parents were both attractive people and had passed those genes down to their children. It helped that Lincoln, most likely thanks to his sister Lynn and their parents influence, kept in shape. It probably helped that Clyde had gotten into weight lifting thanks to his father Harold's influence.
What ever the case, Lincoln was handsome in a boyishly cute way, youthful features that were complimented by the fact he ate right and hit the gym a couple times a week. With his trim and yet toned form, dressed as a vampire from an iconic movie Lucy loved, it was having a little bit of an effect on her.
Lincoln had noticed her staring as they walked together and Lily hit up the next house. With a smirk, he pulled on her arm, causing her to fall against him. She yelped softly and giggled, as he recalled the chorus from the theme song for the movie..
“Come, come to your brother..”
Lucy giggled again and grinned, as she responded, “Oh, do you need to be unchained?”
Lincoln rose his eyebrow in reply, “Well, the song says, Love is with your brother.”
Lucy shivered hearing that, running her free hand up through her hair, and twirling a strand around her fingertip.
Her brother was being romantic towards her right now, and she absolutely loved it. It was everything she wanted and more.
Taking a quick glance around, noting Lily's back being turned, she reached up and suddenly pressed her lips to his own.
Lincoln was taken aback by her forwardness. Linking arms together in public was one thing but sharing a kiss?! Especially with Lily so close?! That was dangerous! And yet, he returned the kiss, their tongues meeting for a brief dalliance before they pulled back with another quick glance around.
Lucy had the largest smile Lincoln had ever seen before on her lips. She leaned her head over against his shoulder as they walked along.
Lily came running up to the both of them, holding her treat bag open to show her treasure, while she adapted her best evil sounding sinister voice, “Mother, Father, I have claimed tribute from the mortals!”
Lucy grinned, reaching forward and patting the black wig on Lily's head gently while speaking in a dramatic tone, “Make sure their blood tastes sweet to you dear daughter, but don't fill up just yet. There's more victims to claim tonight.”
Lily giggled at the play, smiling brightly up at both of them. Before she was turning around and pointing at the cross walk, “Come on, Come on! We have to go to the next street!” She practically skipped ahead of them, waiting impatiently for them to catch up so they could cross together.
Lincoln couldn't help but smile watching her, she was being so damn cute, it really wasn't fair. As they caught up to Lily and walked arm in arm across the street, Lucy seemed to be lost in thought. When Lily took off to the next house, she said something that shocked Lincoln.
“I can't wait until we do this with our own daughter.”
Lincoln looked panicked, cold fear ran down his spine as he looked from Lily to Lucy and back again, then to Lucy again, his free hand coming up pointing as he mumbled, “But you said... you were on...”
Lucy was confused for a moment before she caught on to what her brother was trying to ask and imply before she began to laugh loudly, patting him on the shoulder, “No, I don't mean right now my love. I mean in the future. When we have our daughter in the future.”
Lincoln breathed out a huge sigh of relief. He almost needed a moment to recover from that one. He did not want to have to figure out how he and Lucy would care for their child as they were right now. But a moment later, he was raising his eyebrow at Lucy, “Wait a moment, how do you know we're going to have a girl huh?”
Lucy gave an enigmatic grin, “Because I know. A girl, with your pretty white hair. I think I'll name her.... Lupa.”
Lincoln looked at her skeptically still, “And how do you know all this again?”
Lucy slipped her hand away from Lincoln's own, folded both her hands behind her back and took several steps ahead of him, a bright smile on her lips. She whirled in place to look back at him, and bent forward cutely, staring at him from beneath her shadowy black bangs.
“Great Grandmother Harriet told me.”
That caused Lincoln to freeze in place, and a shiver of fear to run down his spine once more.
Great Grandmother Harriet, sending Lucy dreams of the future, on Halloween.
While Lincoln was an avid believer in hauntings and spirits, when it came to the subject of Lucy's connection to their Great Grandmother, he always tried to be a little skeptical, if for no other reason than the implications creeped him out far too much.
Harriet was their father's Grandmother, and it was said Lucy was the spitting image of her. Just as Lincoln was the spitting image of his Grandfather Albert... Lucy looked so very similar to Harriet, the black and white pictures of her all showed a woman with Lucy's physique, hair and complexion.
It didn't help that Harriet was an actual practicing witch as well. Just like Lucy she was known to be a purveyor of Tarot Cards, Seances and ceremonies. She even had an old book that Lucy had claimed was full of spells and rituals Harriet had created herself. That book had been in Lucy's possession since she was 8, and she didn't let anyone else look into it.
Harriet was cited as the reason why their Father Lynn was so terrified of Halloween and certain horror movies. He had loved his grandmother, but it was clear her influence had turned him right onto the path of the blatantly mundane and normal.
Lincoln knew Harriet had been alive when he was born, she had been alive up until about six months before Lucy was born. That was the final creepy nail in the creepy coffin when it came to Harriet and Lucy.
The fact Lucy claimed Harriet sometimes talked to her didn't help.
Lucy could see the unease in her big brother's features and continued to grin.
Lincoln couldn't tell if she was being completely serious, or she was just messing with him. He wasn't sure which outcome he'd prefer.
Lucy came up to him and took his arm again, giggling, “Don't worry my Love, Grandma Harriet is never wrong. But you don't have to worry about Lupa coming right now.” She leaned up and gave his chin a kiss.
Lincoln laughed nervously thinking over the whole ordeal. One, being the possibility of his girlfriend really having necromantic abilities and talking to their great grandmother, farfetched and probably not true... But two, thinking again about actually having a child with Lucy. Actually bringing a child into the world knowing who they were and what their relationship was... but three, knowing he would actually enjoy taking their child Trick or treating with her as a family.
He wanted to do all of those things. Take his kids trick or treating, celebrate Christmas with them, play with them, teach them. He was only 19 and he didn't plan on having children any time soon, but thinking about it, he knew he wanted it...there would just be difficulties with Lucy and he doing so... but maybe they could handle it together.
The rest of Halloween passed like a dream, Lily got enough candy to make her sick several times over, and Lincoln and Lucy truly enjoyed their 'date' together.
Lincoln finished the night with her in a manner she would remember forever. Taking her out to the Royal Woods graveyard for a late-night picnic, where he made love to her, dressed in costume under the moonlight. It was the perfect end to a perfect night for Lucy Loud.
She was absolutely certain, one day... Lupa Loud would be born.
Section Break
Lily Loud had been sitting in the living room of the Loud family home, having successfully commandeered the TV thanks to her big brother Lincoln. It was Friday afternoon, and she had the weekend to look forward to. Currently she was re-watching the 4th season of her favorite show, 'Magic Soldier Princess Twilight Requiem Gaiden' or MSPTRG.
The 4th season had dropped a couple weeks ago, and she had already watched all of it, with her big brother Lincoln and sometimes big sister Lucy joining her, but like a typical 9-year-old, she could watch the same thing over and over and still enjoy it just as much.
She particularly loved the drama involving her favorite Princess Soldier Ukiyo and her relationship with the Black and Red Rose Knights. The Rose Knights were a group of handsome boys who helped the Princess Soldiers in their battles against wickedness, despair, and evil. Princess Soldier Ukiyo didn't know the Red Rose Knight was her older brother Ryu, and the Black Rose Knight was his best friend Akira!
Ukiyo just knew she always felt safe with the Red Rose Knight that she could always trust him, and that her heartbeat faster when the Black Rose knight was around! Just as in her civilian identity when she was around her big brother Ryu and his best friend Akira!
Lily loved this part of the story because of how much she identified with it. She had something of a precocious crush on her brother's best friend, Clyde. Her brother Lincoln was the coolest and best boy in the whole world, and naturally his best friend had to be really cool and really good too. The fact Clyde was so similar to her brother, but different was enough for Lily to transpose those innocent early childhood crush feelings on him.
She knew he already had a girlfriend, but it didn't stop her heart from feeling happy and her tummy from doing flips when he was around and doted on her right alongside of Lincoln. Watching the way Ukiyo did the same around Akira just gave her something she could relate to!
Her favorite part of the season was currently playing. The Red Rose Knight had been ensorcelled by the dark princess Magia and turned against his friends and comrades! It was only thanks to the love of his sister Princess Soldier Ukiyo and best friend the Black Rose Knight Akira he was able to break free!
Of course, it had been a tragic story too, the dark princess Magia had truly loved the Red Rose knight, even if she had used dark power to secure his affection.
The season had ended on a cliffhanger, with the Red Rose Knight Ryu first turning against the Dark Princess, until he learned her affections were true, and that he in turned loved her as well. But Magia had decided to take her own life over the guilt of manipulating him.
The season had ended with Magia plunging her own dark blade into her heart while declaring “Imagine, the darkness in love with the light.”, while Ryu, Akira and Ukiyo were trying to stop her!
Lily hated it and loved it at the same time. Loved it because it was so dramatic and awesome, hated it because she would have to wait an entire year to find out what happened next! She felt bad for Dark Princess Magia... On one hand she had manipulated and controlled Ukiyo's brother Ryu to secure his affection and enact her own agenda, but on the other, Magia had been truly lonely and actually loved the Red Rose Knight.
A part of Lily hoped they could have some kind of happy ending together, even if Dark Princess Magia was in the wrong.
Ukiyo and Akira had declared their love for each other...Ryu and Magia deserved love too, Lily reasoned!
But her thoughts about the magical girl Shojo anime series were interrupted when the front door opened, and the eldest sister she was most familiar with walked into the door.
Standing in the doorway, dressed in a blue and gold Wolverine varsity jacket, a pair of blue track pants and a gold t-shirt, with her red backpack slung over her shoulder was her older sister Lynn.
Lily looked up in mild shock. She hadn't expected Lynn to be coming home at all. She knew Lynn was away at college, but a college that was close by, which was why she saw her more than any of her other older sisters, but this was still a surprise.
Lily smiled, jumping up from her position on the couch, in her violet and blue dress, running towards Lynn with her arms outstretched for a hug.
“Lynn!”
Lynn had just enough time to register her baby sister coming straight toward her, before she dropped her backpack on the ground, picked up the little blonde girl as she made impact with her, and squeezed her tightly in a sudden hug with a smile on her lips.
“Lily! Lilster! Oh it's so good to see you baby sis!”
Lily smiled broadly and squeezed back with everything she had, “Lynn! Oh my gosh! What are you doing here?! I'm the first to see you yay!” Lily exclaimed happily.
Lynn laughed as she hugged her baby sister tightly and gently rocked her back and forth, before placing several exaggerated kisses on her cheek, “Mwuh! Mwuh! Oh I love you Lily! I missed you!” Lynn laughed before she continued. “I just decided I wanted to come home and see my family for the weekend is all! Mmmng, I've been missing my Lily hugs!”
Lily laughed and giggled happily, she loved all her siblings dearly, but Lynn was the one she remembered most who had moved out, and so she was always extra happy to see her. She returned the kisses and hugs, before Lynn set her down, as she smiled up at her older brunette sister.
Lynn looked down and rubbed her head, “What are you doing right now?”
Lily smirked, “Watchin my show!”
Lynn continued to grin, “Oh that dork stuff your big brother Stinkin likes too?”
Lily giggled again and flashed her a smile with her teeth showing, “Anime is cool Lynn! Lincoln tells me you even like some!”
Lynn rolled her eyes but smiled. She didn't consider herself a geek by any stretch of the word, but Lincoln had shown her some sports anime before. He’d shown her shows about Basketball teams, and girls Volleyball teams as they struggled and took on their opponents, and Lynn was surprised to find out she had actually liked it.
More it was something she could share with her beloved brother. Watching sports Shonen anime really connected them, it was two of their hobbies blending as one, and an excuse for them to hang out. Much as she wouldn't go out of her way to watch most of the stuff Lily and Lincoln were into, there were a few things she genuinely did like and shared with them.
Even if she acted tough and teased them about it... “Okay yeah, I like a little bit of it... But I'm not a dork like you and Lincoln. You two are just lucky I think dorks are ultra-cute..”
Lynn leaned down and placed a kiss on Lily's head again, causing the little girl to smile and giggle once more.
Just then, Lincoln appeared, making his way downstairs. Dressed in his typical attire of a pair of jeans, and orange button up shirt with a red t-shirt underneath, he stopped halfway down as he took in the sight of Lynn in front of him.
Lynn looked back up to her favorite brother, no, her favorite sibling and fixed him with a warm wide smile.
In Lynn's mind, she had the perfect excuse for why she doted on Lincoln, why she spent so much time with him, and why he was so much the focus of her attention. Given they were only a year apart, she had grown up next to him, more than any other sibling.
In fact, they had shared a room for more than a few years. It was only when Lincoln had started to get older, and the other sisters had come along that it was decided Lincoln should have his own room, separate from his sisters.
Lynn had never forgotten what it was like sharing a room with Lincoln, playing with him, protecting him, teaching him, doing all those things an older sibling was supposed to do. But more particularly, one who was so close in age. One who felt more like a best friend and confidant than just an older mentor to acknowledge.
She looked up to the white-haired dorky boy that had held her heart for so long. She looked up at him as he looked back down to her. She only hoped he saw the relationship they had as being special the same way she did.
Lori and Leni had each other, Luan and Luna had each other, Lola and Lana had each other, and Lisa and Lily had each other.
But it was her and Lincoln against the world before anyone else.
She knew on some level Lucy applied there too. Lucy had been her roommate for years, and she felt special when it came to Lucy, just as she understood Lucy had a special relationship with Lincoln as well. That and of course they both shared the same secret when it came to Lincoln.
But Lincoln had been her roommate first before anyone else. Lincoln was the closest to her in age. Lincoln had the most special relationship with her as far as Lynn was concerned.
She didn't even hesitate or wait, she charged up the stairs towards her little, big brother almost cackling as she went.
“Stinkin! There he is! The only one in this house who can come close to me!” She had a wicked grin on her lips, one that Lincoln was only far too familiar with. One that said she had some kind of physical challenge in mind, some kind of contest for him, some kind of sport.
Lincoln's eyes looked in panic for a moment, and he flinched. Lynn loved it, despite how much she teased him, he still rose up to meet her challenges, he still tried, he still mounted a defense. He still entertained her and never turned her down.
But when she saw him flinch, she couldn't help but throw a playful, if a little hard, punch out towards his arm.
“Ow! Lynn!” He cried out as her fist made contact.
Only for her to do it a second time as she replied, “Two for flinching!”
She laughed hard as Lincoln only frowned, and then she was wrapping her arms around her younger brother, squeezing him tightly with so much love and affection, even lifting him off the stairs for a moment in her embrace.
Lincoln couldn't help but smile and laugh in response as he was picked up by his sporty sister. She was so much shorter than he was, but she kept her body in such toned, exquisite shape, it was no wonder she could lift his weight so easily.
He returned her hug while she was laughing and he was laughing, “Put me down Lynn! Alright, I get it! I get it! You win!” He squeezed her tightly in return.
Lynn did so, smiling to herself. She loved his hugs so much, she loved playing with him, she loved rough housing with him. Out of all her siblings, Lincoln was the only one who could come close to matching her athletically.
As she sucked up all the warmth from that hug, all that affection, she couldn’t help but briefly contemplate what their sex life would be like. How physical and playful it could be. How she could really challenge him and give him a workout.
Lincoln wasn't an athlete by nature, but thanks to her influence, he had been forced to learn several sports and keep in shape, just to keep up with her demands. Just to be an adequate partner for all her practice. He was good enough to always make her have fun, even if she won most of the time, but more importantly, because she loved him, her fun was magnified.
It was also why she played all his dorky board games with him too. Lynn loved competition and competing, even if it was mental. As 'dumb' as she could be, if it were a sport or a challenge, she would go out of her way to learn it, master it, and be the best she could be at it.
So, when it came to board games in the family, Lincoln may have been the best, but Lynn was the second best, and she knew all his favorite dorky elaborate and complex board games and card games. She was often the only sister in the house willing to play them with him, and it was her way of thanking him for putting up with her.
Of course, she always had fun with them too, it was still a contest, still a sport, even if a mental one, but more importantly it was with Lincoln, and she knew how much fun he had doing it. She knew it was the same fun she had playing HORSE with him, or Street Hockey or racing him. It was the give and take of their relationship, of their friendship.
Lynn put her younger brother down and they descended the stairs together. Lily was watching them both with a smile on her face.
Lincoln spoke up, “Didn't expect to see you this weekend Lynn, what's going on?”
Lynn smirked as she folded her arms, “Nothin to it Lincoln, I missed you. I missed all my family, I just wanted to come home and spend some time with all of you. That good?”
Lincoln looked a little embarrassed but smiled, rubbing the back of his head and nodding, “Sure, it's fine with me, I missed you too Lynn. We all did.”
Lily nodded as if to add to what Lincoln had said, and then Lynn smiled to herself as she wrapped both her arms around her brother's waist and pressed her head to his chest, “Good, because I intend to have my favorite little brother all to myself this weekend.”
Lincoln felt a flush roll over his body hearing that. More he couldn't help but begin to admire just how nice Lynn's arms felt around him. Despite the sculpted appearance of her body, Lynn was still a girl, and still soft in all the right ways. She was firm in ways girls normally weren't, but that firmness in her arms and waist felt like a hidden delight, and it was nice to hug her in return.
Lincoln spoke, “Hey, don't forget your sisters, but I'm here at your disposal Lynn.” he had something of a blush on his cheeks as he spoke those words. Part of him recalling what Lucy had told him.
Supposedly Lynn had feelings for him back in middle school and part of Highschool, he didn't know fully if she still did now, but he felt strangely obligated to be even more kind to her and permissive than he normally was. Particularly considering what he was doing for Lucy.
There was a strange mix up going in Lincoln’s mind now. Like a computer program being given conflicting commands creating a paradox it couldn’t solve. He tried his best to treat all of his sisters equally, to give them all the time and attention they required of him. Lucy was his girlfriend, and he gave her special attention that he didn’t give the others. But now he knew about Lynn, and Lynn was still his sister too. What if she still liked him? Well, no he didn’t think he would cheat on Lucy with her. He didn’t think that! But it would only be fair to give her some special attention, wouldn’t it? She was still his sister, she still deserved it if she wanted it right? Or should he just ignore all of it, why was he even thinking like this?
Was it because he’d been having sex with Lucy? That was really the ultimate form of attention you could give anyone. It wasn’t like Lynn wasn’t hot too. That sporty little body of hers, and tight butt, he wondered if she still had freckles on it and..
Holy shit what the hell was he thinking?!
Jesus Christ Lincoln, get the hell ahold of yourself man! What was this relationship with Lucy doing to you when it came to the rest of your sisters?!
Lincoln was pulled from his self-panic by Lynn’s attention once again.
Lynn looked back up at him as she pulled back from his chest, “Good, because I need a great workout, and I bet you do too. You haven't been getting soft in my absence have you little bro?” She poked him in his chest, noting how firm it was. ‘I built that’ flitted through her mind.
Lincoln laughed and shook his head, “I don't think so, but I bet you'll be the better judge than I would.”
Lily shook her head and spoke up, “Un uh! Linky is really strong! I saw him carrying Lucy around the other day! Like she weighted nothing!”
Lynn looked towards Lincoln, putting her hands on her hips while staring up at him with a raised eyebrow and a smirk, “Oh was he now? Well, what brought that about Lincoln?”
Lincoln felt like he was getting accused of something, which in a way maybe he was. But Lynn was supposed to be ignorant of that information wasn’t she? And Lily?! Just how much had Lily seen of him and Lucy? They’d have to more careful, or maybe he was panicking over nothing.
Lincoln gave a shrug and an awkward smile, “I don’t remember Lynn. You know how it is, I’ve carried all of you at different times for different reasons, I can’t keep track of it all!”
Lynn playfully elbowed him in the ribs while grinning and responded, “Oh is that so? Well guess what you’re going to do right now then?”
Lincoln rolled his eyes playfully, “Oh no, I see where this is going.”
Lynn laughed and was suddenly spinning up behind him and climbing up onto his back. It was in this moment she was glad she hadn’t gotten much taller from childhood. Lincoln gave a slight yelp as his arms went behind himself in reflex.
Lynn clasped his shoulders and hooked her legs around his waist, as she piggy-backed him, Lincoln’s arms going around her legs in return, “Lynn! What are you doing!?”
Lynn laughed “What’s it look like Stinkin? I’m goin for a ride! Now come on! Take me around the block!”
Lily looked towards the two, clasping her small hands tightly at her sides and calling out, “No fair! I wanna get carried by Lincoln too!”
Lynn smirked down at her little sister from atop her trusty steed, “You’ll have to wait your turn now Lils. Lincoln is gonna take his favorite sister for a ride first!”
Lincoln groaned at the whole ridiculousness of the situation, but part of him was having fun with all of it too, “Hey, first you know Lily is my favorite.”
Lily gave the biggest smug smirk hearing that, folding her arms and sticking her tongue out at Lynn. Lynn just stuck her tongue out right back.
Lincoln continued, “And second, you really expect me to run around the block, carrying you on my back the whole time, like you’re Yoda?”
Lynn scoffed, leaning up higher on Lincoln just so she could look over at him, showing off her amazing fitness as she did, “Uh, did I stutter Lincoln? Do I look like I’m joking to you?”
She was putting on a faux serious expression, but Lincoln knew she really did want him to do it. When Lynn decided on some crazy contest or exercise to share with someone, especially Lincoln, she fully expected it to be obeyed.
Lynn leaned back again but pointed over Lincoln’s shoulder, “Now get goin horsey! You have to do the same thing with Lily when we get back!”
Lily cheered when she heard that, throwing her hands up in the air.
Lincoln groaned, “I should be wearing shorts for this.”
Lynn patted him on the head, then ran her fingers through his white hair, over his scalp, the feeling was pleasant and almost electric, “You can hit the showers when we get back! Now move! Move! Move!”
And Lincoln did exactly that, as Lily even opened the front door for them. Lincoln took off at a run with Lynn on his back, her giggling and laughing the whole time. As they ran out the door, she placed a kiss on the corner of his forehead.
From the top of the stairs, looking down on all of them was Lucy Loud. Her teeth held together in a tight grimace as she seethed, seethed, and seethed.
Section Break
Lynn had made Lincoln not only carry her around two blocks, but when she was done, made him do the same thing with Lily while running along side of him. After that, she then said he could ‘take it easy’ and just run another two blocks with her carrying nothing.
When they were finished, the two went to the backyard to recover, Lincoln panting and sweating in his jeans, doubled over with his hands on his knees. Lynn standing nearby him, catching her breath, but clearly nowhere near as winded as he was.
Lynn briefly walked into the kitchen through the backdoor to grab two bottles of water. As she came back she tossed one to him, before they both sat on the porch right next to each other.
Lynn was nothing but smiles as usual, stretching back as she downed the water in one long smooth pull, wiping her lips afterwards and giving a soft “Ahhhhh” when complete. Then she casually basketball tossed the empty bottle into the recycling bin over by the garage.
Lincoln was impressed, considering how far it was from the back porch to the garage, and she made it look easy. But then that was Lynn. There was a reason she had that scholarship. She looked up at her brother, her big brown eyes looking into his blue as she grinned showing teeth, “You did good there Stinkin. Better than I expected, but I can tell without me around you’ve been slackin.” She playfully teased him.
Lincoln smirked as he took a long drink from the bottle, gasping and panting again while looking back to her, “You've been gone for awhile, I've gotten to take it easy!” He laughed before he added “I can’t even remember the last time you came home when it wasn’t for a Holiday. I think you spent your entire first year in Ann Oaks pretty much didn't you?”
That had been entirely true. Lynn hadn’t come home at all during that first year except on the Holidays and of course summer break. It was part of her plan, her desperate attempt to break her of the sweet addiction of her brother. Out of sight, out of mind.
It hadn't worked.
But now she was so happy she was getting her fix again. She loved him so much, she loved being with him, sharing everything with him. Life was just, so much more fun with Lincoln. So much more full of joy, laughter and color.
She looked down at her feet at that statement, a soft sad smile on her lips actually feeling both guilty and a little giddy, did Lincoln actually miss her? “Yeah I know. I guess I got caught up in the college life. You know how it is.”
Lincoln responded sharply before he even realized it, “Actually, I don’t.”
Lynn winced hearing that, and she brought her hand up behind her head. She hadn’t even realized what she said could be considered insensitive to Lincoln, with how he had sacrificed his own college experience for the family.
But Lincoln was already apologizing before she could, “Sorry Lynn, I didn’t mean it like that. I know it’s not your fault.”
Lynn turned towards him and wrapped her arms around his torso again, burying her face in his chest. He was sweating still from their run, god she loved that smell. She squeezed him tight, “I know Linc. It's okay. I wasn't thinking. But yaknow, I think things are going to get better for you before you know it.”
Lincoln returned her hug, his hands up over her back. She felt nice, there was something pleasant about how her smaller, tighter, body fit against his own. She was so tough, and yet so small and cute too. Her statement made him curious however.
Honestly, he didn’t think things were too terrible. He had Lucy, and well, Lucy really made his home situation so much better. As much as a part of him wanted to finally leave home, spread his wings and take off, it was difficult to argue with regular blowjobs and sex from a dark goddess who also loved him with every fiber of her inky black soul as compensation.
Though he still felt a little conflicted about Lucy with Lynn so close to him right now, and her talking about leaving home. He responded, “You think so huh? Think I’m due for some good fortune?”
Lynn looked up from where she was curled into his chest and continued to grin, “Maybe. Maybe I know something… but you have to wait to hear it. It’s a surprise.” Then she booped him on the nose.
Lincoln leaned back, his eyebrow raised in curiosity. What was Lynn getting at? She seemed happy and in high spirits. But then, Lynn was almost always in a good mood unless her team had lost. But she seemed even happier than he remembered.
“Come on Lynn, you can’t leave me hanging like that...” Lincoln attempted to wheedle her, try and get her to open up some more, tell him what she was hinting at.
But then she was letting go of him, standing up and stepping back, wagging her finger in his face, “Uh Uh Uhhh Lincoln! Nope! It’s bad luck if I spoil it for you! Not gonna happen!”
And then she proceeded to do her famous victory dance he’d been seeing her perform all his life. She thrust her arms down and forward, while slamming her butt back in the air, scooting along as she did so, “You’re just gonna have to wait and see Stinkin! Oh yeah!”
Lincoln smiled as he watched her. Transfixed by the display. Her long gorgeous hair tied back in her ever-present ponytail, the way it flopped with her movement, and the way her track pants hugged that sweet tight little ass of hers.
He knew what was happening, and he looked away before he let himself go down that road again.
He still felt hot and sweaty, doing all of that in his jeans, so he stood up and sighed and shook his head. “I think I’m gonna grab a shower and change Lynn.” And hopefully not end up jerking off in the shower thinking about you… he inwardly groaned to himself.
Lynn turned around to face him and nodded her head, “Alright Linc. Hey when you’re done, how about you take us out to Tornio’s and we can grab some subs, my treat.”
Lincoln smiled as he made his way back into the house, looking over his shoulder at her, “Sounds good Lynn.”
Lynn only took a few minutes before she made her way back into the house as well. She picked up her backpack in the front of the house and proceeded to make her way up stairs towards her old room. She still stayed with Lucy when she came home.
As she stepped into her former, now Lucy’s room, she tossed her bag back onto her old bed. The door behind her suddenly closed, causing her to jump up in surprise and almost squeak before she whirled around and found herself staring up at her younger sister.
Lucy was there, arms folded under her chest, her ever present frown on her lips, clad in black as usual. “Lynn..”
Lucy stated flatly.
Lynn rose her eyebrow and responded, “Lucy…”
Lucy sighed, “We need to talk.”
A/N: I kinda want to write Magic Soldier Princess Twilight Requiem Gaiden. It sounds like a fun, if very derivative show. Anyway, I want to finish up my chapter on my other Story “Why Can't it be like this forever?” before I start the next chapter of this one. WCIBLTF is a smaller story, but it has some dedicated fans who've been messaging me with very sweet requests telling me how much they enjoy it, and I have neglected it for too long.
But don't worry, this train is still on schedule for catastrophe- I mean arrive at the station on time! See you then!
