Actually it was Princess Celestia who told Princess Luna to find a hobby to help learn more about how Equestria and us ponies had changed while she was gone. I still can't believe she played along.
Someponies say our debut was way too scary. It was nothing compared to the terrifying stuff Princess Luna put me through! Later she said I had to be in the right frame of mind before explaining she was just starting a band. I guess goddesses think different than we do. WAY different. I wrote a lot about it at first when I was frightened. Maybe I'll tell someday. But right now most ponies won't understand things, like when Gilda tried to eat Apple Bloom. (A bad joke.)
Speaking of Apple Bloom, the rest of us never thought she'd make it. She's so young and didn't know music at all. She was really hard on herself too. Still Princess Luna wanted her on drums so bad, and she was so patient and loving with her that, well, you heard. Oh! Did you see the "two-face" thing on her flanks? I drew the yuck face side and Princess Luna did the smiley. It's a joke in a joke thing.
I heard Rainbow Dash is talking to Gilda again and Trixie is being nicer. Princess Luna says to save our badness for the stage and be normal the rest of the time. I feel a lot better that way. Someponies were afraid of me for a while, but now they treat me normal again. They even use my real name mostly. When they call me "Despair" I tell them to just call me Bubbly.
You're probably still sore over what we did. They say our lead guitarist had to stay with Fluttershy awhile because you were so mad at him. So I'm sorry about that. But I have to admit that the look on your face was really funny. Just be thankful no one got a picture of it. I learned my lesson!
EVEN A LITTLE HORSING AROUND CAN GET WAY OUT OF HOOF! But it's all good now.
