Chapter 15 DP
The five teens were spread out across the living room floor, bits of birthday wrapping paper strewn here and there all around them. “Thanks guys,” Danny enthused as he and Sam laid side-by-side on their stomachs and paged through the photo album she had given him for his birthday while Val and Tucker were casually kissing on the Twister mat and Jazz was lovingly stroking and gazing misty-eyed at her new dildo. They all were still completely without apparel. “All your presents are great.” He leaned over a bit and gave his girlfriend a kiss on the cheek and hushed to her, “This birthday is the best ever.”
“I have one more idea for a gift,” Sam cooed to her boyfriend before her face fell into deep concern as she absentmindedly brushed at some imaginary dirt on the carpet, “but I'm not sure if I’m ready to give it to you just yet.”
“You've already giving me the most precious gift you could,” Danny smirked and playfully nudged Sam with his shoulder, “yourself. What else is there to give?”
“There is one other thing I can give you that would make our bond complete,” Samantha Manson stated as her face took on a stern look of determination, “and I will give it to you.” She arose from the floor and walked to the door leading to the basement lab. “If you'll follow me.”
Sam had said the last sentence loud enough to rouse Jazz, Tucker and Valerie out of their revelries and they rose to follow the Goth girl and Danny. All five naked teens walked down the stairs and watched as Sam turned off all the machinery. Then she disappeared into the quiet Ghost Portal for a second only to emerge and walk back over to the controls. She turned the controls back on then pulled a white Haz-Mat suit secreted in one of the bottom drawers and started to put it on. “Danny, you've been fighting ghosts alone now for four years.”
“No I haven't,” Danny said in amusement with a bit of a chuckle. “You four have always had my back. I've never been totally alone.”
“Yes, but you've been doing all the fighting,” Sam smirked to her lover as she stuck her arms in the sleeves, turned her back to the four teens and finished dressing in the stretchy fabric by zipping up the long zipper in the front. She dialed in a few of the knobs of the control panel then turned back to Danny, Tucker, Valerie and Jazz. “I think it's time you had someone fighting right there beside you.” She swiftly turned and walked back and into the Portal.
“No Sam, you might get killed!” Tucker yelled as he suddenly recognized the settings and realized what was about to happen. Unfortunately, he was too far away to race over and prevent the raven-haired girl from entering the portal again and depressing the 'on' button inside the machine.
The Ghost Portal hummed to life and flashed a brilliant white light before it just as suddenly shut completely down. A figure stumbled out of the steamy exhaust of the ghostly doorway to another realm and collapsed into Danny's arms. “Sam!” Danny hollered in alarm, falling to the floor on his knees with his beloved cradled in his arms.
“Did it work?” Tucker begged as the three other teens raced over and huddled around the couple on the floor.
They quickly noticed a few differences in Samantha Manson. First, the white Haz-Mat suit was now jet black. Second, her normally jet black hair was snowy white and fashioned in shoulder length, loose curled ringlets. And third... Sam slowly raised her head and smiled up at the four teens. “Hi guys!” she enthused, “how do I look?“ …Her eyes glowed green, just like Danny Phantom's.
“Sam! Why?” Danny bellowed as he assisted his new, improved girlfriend up off the floor.
“As I said,” Sam groaned and cupped her forehead in one hand as her legs wobbled a bit before they firmed up and she regained her bearings, “you've been handling all the tough battles by yourself Danny. It's about time you had some Ecto-Powered help out there.” Sam leaned in and embraced her astonished boyfriend in a passionate kiss.
“Sam, you coulda been killed!” Tuck yelled again.
Sam broke from the kiss, but not from the embrace. “Well, Danny has gone through the process twice already so I thought it wouldn't hurt me to go through it just this once. Besides Tuck,” an all-out evil smirk arose on her lips, “you had ghost powers at one time when you got them from Desiree, the Wishing Ghost. I've always been a bit envious of you and Danny for having that sort of power and I never had a chance to experienced it before now. I don‘t think I can handle it any worse than you did.” She turned her head to, once again, plant a loving, toe-curling French kiss on Danny's lips.
“Hey,” Tuck yelped defensively as he remembered when he had ghost powers and went all Overboard Ogre with the powers before Danny came to the rescue just in the nick of time, “what happened to me was because of Desiree’s spell!”
“That's all well and good, Sam,” Jazz stepped forward, “but do you have the same Ghost Powers that Danny has?”
Without breaking from the buss or even opening her eyes, Sam extended her arm and pointed at Jazz' feet. A weak green beam shot out of her index finger and dimly exploded only a few inches from the red head's toes. Jazz jumped back with a yelp. “Okay, so you have some of the same powers as Danny.”
“Sam,” Danny panted as the kiss finally broke, “this is the most awesome gift anyone's ever given to me. How can I top this for your birthday?”
“Well,” Sam giggled, stepped out of the hug and flexed her arms and legs, testing out the stretch of the spandex suit, “you can help me train with my powers and maybe show me a trick or two that you've discovered over the years.”
A broad smile breached the dark haired boy's face as he raised his arms and yelled, “I'm Going Ghost!” A white circled started at one fist, slid down the arm and traversed his body turning the naked Danny Fenton into the normally clad, ghostly body of Danny Phantom. “I found out if you simply think about a power, it happens. After a while it becomes second nature to you. Go ahead and think about becoming invisible,” he urged his girlfriend while Danny immediately disappeared.
Sam closed her eyes in deep concentration and slowly vanished from view.
“Wow! Valerie exclaimed, “it worked!”
The two human/ghost half breeds quickly reappeared. “Oh, this is just too cool,” Sam laughed excitedly before she turned to her boyfriend and latched onto one of his arms, bouncing wildly. “I want to go flying somewhere!”
Danny took Sam's hands in his. “All you have to do is think intangible as you also picture yourself flying through the walls of the house.” Danny turned intangible and so did Sam before they lifted slowly off the floor and phased through the basement ceiling.
“We might be back for dinner, guys,” Sam hollered their good-byes.
“Maaaan,” Tucker whined. “I hope this goes better than before.”
“What happened?” Valerie asked her boyfriend.
“Well,” Tucker turned to her and shook his head, “it was worse than a train wreck in the beginning. We trained with Danny for over a month before he finally got control over some of his powers.”

Sam was almost giddy with excitement as she and Danny burst through a single low cloud in the early afternoon sky. She looked over and saw a goofy grin on Danny's face. “You're enjoying this almost as much as I am,” she enthused.
“Almost,” Danny chided. “I liked it a whole lot better when I was doing the flying and carrying you in my arms... But I can get used to this. How are you doing?”
”I only have one concern,” Sam laughed as she did a barrel roll and swiftly moved into a back loop.
“What's that?” Danny queried as the two ghosts came to a stop in mid air to hover and talk.
“Well,” Sam paused, the concerned look back on her face, “what if I can't turn human again?”
“You only gotta think about changing back when you want to,” Danny chuckled.
His mirth swiftly changed to shock when Sam suddenly changed back to her naked self and began to plummet to the ground. Sam let out a scream as she tumbled toward the Earth.
“Not Now!” Danny yelped. He jack-knifed into a power dive and quickly swooped down, catching his beloved in his strong arms a few yards before her utter demise. He swiftly zipped back up into a cloud and stopped for cover. “You gotta remember to have both feet firmly planted on the ground before you think about changing back.”
“I'll also need to remember that, whatever clothes I'm wearing when I become a ghost will be the clothes I'm wearing when I change back to human,” Sam laughed and clung tightly to Danny. Her body was shaking like a leave. Whether it was from the near fatal fall or from being cold from the lack of clothing, she couldn’t tell. “Or lack thereof.”
“Are you alright now?”
“I'll always be alright,” Sam cooed and cupped Danny's cheek with her free hand, the other wrapped around his neck, “as long as we're together.” Her countenance swiftly turned serious. “But right now I want to see if I can become a ghost again.”
“Well, all you need to do,” Danny chuckled, “is to call out my battle cry.”
Sam laughed as she stretched out flat in his arms, her fists clinched above her head. A white ring flashed into view around her out-stretched arms and swiftly descended her body, turning her ghostly again. “Danny, your battle cry is so corny!” Sam laughed as she tumbled out of Danny's arms and settled into a hover beside him.
“But I need my battle cry to change!” Danny playfully whined.
“Well, it might work that way for you,” Sam snickered, “but I can do without it.”
“O-kay,” Danny Phantom said hesitantly and pointed at her, “but what's that on your chest and why‘s your hair different?”
Sam spread out her arms to show Danny the insignia she had designed and placed on the Haz-Mat suit before she hid it in the lab. “I've been considering this move, becoming a half ghost like yourself, for a few months now. I made this insignia and put it on the suit just in case I decided to go through with it and I concentrated on a different hairstyle when I was in the Portal, being infused with ectoplasm, so I wouldn‘t look the same in my ghostly form. No one would even think that Sam Manson would go with girly-curly hair.” Sam playfully fluffed out her snow white, Goldilocks hair with one hand.
Danny looked closely at the design that was similar to the one on his ghostly apparel, but instead of the 'DP' on his, Sam's was a 'SP.' “What does the 'SP' stand for?”
“Well,” Sam snickered and moved in to wrap Danny in her arms for a little mid air osculation, “you're Danny Phantom, so I thought I should be called Sammy Phantom!”
“Whatever you call yourself,” the two teen ghosts heard the low, loud, gravelly voice coming from behind them, “you and the Ghost Child will both make excellent trophies!”
They turned to see, and say at the same time, “Skulker!”
“That's right,” the menacing mechanical mélange chuckled as he aimed a fist at the two and shot a glowing green net out of his forearm that ensnared Danny.
Danny Phantom screamed in pain as a brief jolt of electricity shot through his body, but he remained hovering in the air.
“Oh No You Just Didn't!” Sam menacingly growled as both her palms shot out toward Skulker. Her hands glowed brightly for a split second before a huge wave of green plasma spewed out of them that ripped the exo-skeleton into a billion pieces and blew their now exposed, small pale foe into the next county.
“I'll be baaaaack!” Skulker echoed as his high-pitched voice and wee body faded from view.
“Are you alright Danny?” Sam begged as she went to her lover and ripped the net apart with her gloved hands.
Danny hovered limply for a few seconds before he seemed to come out of his stupor and slowly raised his head. “Yeah, and I'll always be alright, Sammy,” Danny chuckled and drifted into his beloved's arms, “as long as we're together. But,” Danny sourly gazed in the direction Skulker was sent, “I HATE SKULKER'S SHOCK NET!”

The two naked teens giddily laughed and rolled away from one another on the blanket atop the roof of the Manson Mansion. “Wow!” they both exhaled as one and broke into more laughter.
“I love every time we do it,” Danny said as he rolled onto his side to gaze lovingly at his beloved, “but what you did to me when I was human and you were all Sammy!”
“Yeah,” Sam giggled and clutched her hands atop her stomach. “I didn't know I could make my flying tail all solid and sneak into your butt like that.” She became pensive for a moment as she rolled over to her side and doodled a finger on his chest as she asked, “That's what it should be called, right? My flying tail?”
“Yep,” Danny confirmed as he lovingly massaged her naked breast with one hand, “my flying tail. That's what I call it when my feet and legs merge to a tapered end. They're a lot more aerodynamic that way so I can fly faster.” He leaned in, gave Sam a peck on the lips and cooed, “And my flying tail entered your butt first when you were human and I was ghostly.”
“We’ve tried every ghost/human combination but I think I liked it best,” Sam beamed with her eyes closed, reveling in the memory of their most recent lovemaking session, “when were both ghostly and floating. I've never felt more alive than at that time during our lovemaking.”
“I said it before and I'll say it again,” Danny calmly stated with a sly smile as his hand became intangible and he tweaked and massaged her breast. “I love every time we make love. And... I love you so much Sam, Sammy Phantom, Manson.”
Sam snaked an arm around Danny's waist and pulled the dark haired boy on top of her. “I love you so much Danny Fenton, Phantom.”
Their lips met again, for the hundredth time, on the roof top that afternoon. As their lips parted, Sam let out with a long, content but yearning sigh. “I wish we could get married right now, before school’s out and we head off to college. Then we could live our lives that way we want to. We wouldn't have to listen to our parents blather on about how they waited to have sex before they got married.”
Danny almost jump to his feet with an idea. “What time is it?” he asked anxiously.
“It's around four... four-thirty,” Sam answered and sat up. “Why?”
“We gotta hurry!” Danny yelled, got to his feet and raised his fists above his head. “Going Ghost,” he hollered and turned into Danny Phantom. “Come on!”
Sam slammed her eyes closed for a second before she changed into Sammy Phantom. “Where are we going?”
“We're getting married right now,” Danny answered and took her hand, helping her to her feet. “But first we need to get to my house and pick up a piece of paper.”
“Oh, okay,” Sam muttered, unsure what he was talking about as they flew off to his house.
They ghosted into Danny's room and changed back to their naked human forms. “Get dressed,” Danny yelped as he quickly donned his pants and tee-shirt. He went to the door, opened it and hollered down the stairs. “Hey guys, Sam and I are back but we all need to get going! Get dressed right away and we'll be down in a sec!”
“Where are we going,” Sam asked again as she swiftly put on a spare set of clothes she had stashed in Danny's closet for emergencies, “and why do we need to rush?”
Danny went to his dresser drawer, pulled out a pair of socks and a piece of paper. He handed the paper to Sam before he sat down on the bed to finish dressing. “We need to be there before five o'clock.”
Sam scanned the paper for a second and let out with a low, disbelieving, “Whoa.”
