Chapter 2: Escape
7, October 2027 AD, 23:35 (Earth's Time)
Planet "CUT-FACET 672145XCE", Imperial Correctional Facility
Steven slowly sneaked to the elevator. He then pushed a button. The lift doors closed and elevator moved to lower levels. As Elevator moves, Steven is thinking about the others prisoners who maybe can help him to escape and reached to Earth. Then lift stopped moving and made a beep sound.
"Main level."
When the doors open, Steven slowly and sneaky walked to the nearest crates. He then observed surroundings. The corridors filled with Gemirian Guards.
"Damn...the corridors filled with living stones." He whispered
Then two guards start walking directly to the Elevator. They passed the crates without noticing him. Steven uses the moment to the nearest room while trying to stay away from halfway. The room he entered is cargo room filled crates and stuff. Luckily for Steven, it could be an advantage to him.
He passed the half of the room but guards preventing him from reaching the exit. They are guarding the exit.
"So...ever heard of Lapis Lazuli?" Guard asks his comrade.
"A Water Gem girl?" what about her?"
"She's had gone rogue yesterday."
"Wow for real? Too bad...she was a good ally for the Empire."
"Yep. Carnelian himself ordered Aqua Gems to track her down."
"She deserves it. She betrayed her own leader, true Gemirians, and the whole nation."
"Damn true."
Steven widened his eyes as he heard their conversation. Lapis is alive? And she is unfused from the Jasper? It good news but in another hand is bad. She is now tracked down by the whole Empire.
Even though she can destroy the whole planet by herself, she is weak compared to Carnelian who knows ancient secrets and knowledge of Gemstones...sometimes knowledge is far deadlier than the force.
Steven grabbed the random can and threw to far side of the cargo room. The can hit the metal wall, Making sound louder and sharper.
"What was that?"
"No idea. Let's check it in any case."
Then they left exist alone. Steven left the cargo without the problem.
He then reaches to end of the corridor. Steven pressed his back to the wall and checks the surrounding. The sign shows the main lobby. But three guards and overseer himself are having a talk.
"Sometimes our Emperor pisses me off. How can he don't understand that this human is far more dangerous than any Diamond scum in this Galaxy?" Overseer hisses
"Humans can't do anything. They are useless; they even can't help us fighting against Elysian Empire!" Gemirian Trooper exclaimed.
"Watch your tongue. We are allies with Terra Nova." Overseer hisses
"And? Earth fairly belongs to our Empire, not some as the puppet state of Empire."
"I'm not a Redstone or Carnelian, Private. I'm overseer who was assigned by the Empire in order to keep this planet under control. If you don't like it then you can say it directly to Emperor's face."
"As you say, sir." Soldier scowls.
Then the alarm goes on.
"Attention, Sector 2 lost all power. I repeat: Sector 2 lost all power." Loudspeaker cries out
"It can't be. Unless..."
He widened his eyes as he realized the bad thing. "Yellow Diamond is on the loose!"
Then he hit the alarm button. The Alarm sound now covers the whole facility.
"YOU TWO!" He points his finger to them "To the sector two! Don't let that Diamond scum to escape and prepare Diamond Prime to battle stance"
"Aye Aye!"
Then they ran to the nearest door. Overseer then passed Steven but didn't notice him.
Steven then reaches to the main lobby. He sat on the receptionist computer. The main lobby is huge.
He approached the desk and noticed a strange device. Steven grabs this thing and looks at the note.
"Gem-boy 3000MK2" Steven reads the manual "Gem-Boy is a multi-functional device that features a program display. It shows wearer's stats, inventory and much more."
Steven turns the next page.
"Inventory system is divided into sections such as weapons, aids, junk, and ammo. Data shows tasks and information...So it's kind of like Pip-boy from Fallout series? Steven asks himself.
Steven then puts Gem-boy on his left arm. He locks it so it won't fall.
"It's pretty light thing"
Then he pushes a button and screen flashes. Then a cartoon drawn peridot appears. She smiles brightly and gives him a thumb up. She disappears and the screen shows a language setting menu.
"Please, choose your language."
Steven scrolls down with his finger and finds the English version. He pressed on the screen. Then the screen confirms it and changes to inventory menu.
Cartoon peridot's head appears with text on the top left corner.
"Welcome to Gem-boy 3000MK2, a user. I'm Peri-girl and I'm here to keep a company around you." Peri girl smiles at him.
"Guess Gemirians really made progress" Steven comments.
"You can change tabs by simply pressing on the tab"
Steven pressed his finger to the inventory system. It showed Peri-girl with extended arms and legs. Showing what user wears.
Then he pressed to stats. It showed Peri-girl with infinite walking animation. He then checks his perks. He has three perks.
1) "Gem Savior" "With your saliva. You can easily heal others Gems!" (A Steven-boy licks his hand and touches wounded soldier. He got up and gives high-five to Steven-boy)
2) "My Pearl in the shell" "Thanks to your relationship with Crystal Gem Pearl. You get additional 20% damage against Phantom Pearls (Steven-boy shoots Phantom Pearl-girls. He turns his head to Pearl-girl who smiles and gives thumbs up to him"
3) "Protector of the Earth" "You're a Crystal Gem and you always save the day!" (Garnet-girl, Amethyst-girl, Pearl-boy and Steven are singing their theme song while annoyed Diamonds-girls/boys with Carnelian-boy are holdings their ears closed and cringing.
Steven smirked the way they did perks animations. But he reminds himself that he is in danger. He approached the computer and grabbed the mouse.
He clicked on the messages icon which looks an eagle who is holding a paper. He then checks the folder. Steven's eyes caught many reports of specific Gems.
He clicks on Bismuth's report.
Name: Bismuth

Facet: Unknown
Status: Deceased
We found Bismuth during our invasion. Gemirian Empire tried to negotiate with her to join us. But it ends up sadly. She killed about twenty Gemdler soldiers before they managed to gun down her. Emperor Carnelian ordered to execute her. On the 29 July of 2020, she was shattered in front of Homeworld's public.
Steven sigh "I'm so sorry, Bismuth"
He then clicks on another report. This one is about Centipeetle Mother.
Name: Centipeetle Mother (Or Centy as Professor Relon calls her)
Facet: Unknown
Cut: Unknown
Status: Alive
Same as Bismuth, we found her during the invasion. As the old Diamond Authority Intel says, she was a part of rebellion. Strangely, she can't understand our language. The professor believes Centipeetle Mother is not a Gemirian: But an animal and the wild one.
Our intelligence want's to create a new unit type "Ravagers" from Centipeetles.
"Crap" Steven swears. "Gemirian scientists are in total nuts"
He then noticed file reports about Crystal Gems.
"Access Denied. Only high personal can see these reports"
Steven mumbled under his nose. He closes report files and opens the messages. He caught his eyes on Lapis Lazuli's message to Facility. He opens it and reads the context.
"Dear Overseer of Planet "CUT FACET-672145XCE"
"I heard that you have a problem with Steven Universe. Our Emperor assigned me to help with this problem and try to help him."
"I know Steven since his childhood; He will always disobey the one who threatens him. I can fix that by meeting with him personally."
"I know humans philosophy and anatomy very well. What I'm asking in exchange is privacy between us."
"Because in order to make him trust again. It will probably lead some "uncomfortable encounters" with him."
"Think about it, Overseer."

Steven blushed knowing what Lapis "encounters" mentioned. Steven cleared his mind off it and read the reply.
"Dear Lapis Lazuli"
"I understand that you want to help the Empire in any way."
"But we have everything under control and this human only deserves harsh life and no "encounters" with you or specific gem."
"And I'm not sure that Aqua Gem will deal with this kind of situation...no racist, though."

So Lapis tried to meet me? But how she managed to join the Empire?"
Then Steven found other messages. "There's another one by...by our Peridot?"
Dear Overseer of Planet "CUT FACET-672145XCE" or something like that."
"Emperor Carnelian asked to see me Steven Universe by myself due to my long run with him."
"I'm sure that I will be more successful than some "Blue one"
"And I'm ready to do anything in order to make that clod to reason (It's sarcasm...duh :D)"
"Don't keep me waiting, Overseer or I will break you!"
"Signed by The Best Peridot in the Galaxy!"

He smirked by her reply. "OH Peridot. You and your attitude make me a happy person."
Then he read the reply.
"Look young lady"
"I don't know how in the name of Creators, Emperor Carnelian asked you to do this, but by your attitude. He was drunk probably.
"As I said. I don't need a help with a prisoner and I especially don't need services by Peridot class gem.

"P.S I don't know definition of word "Clod" but you probably mistake it by word "Cold"

Then Steven read another one from a different person.

"I'm asking to bring Steven Universe back to Terra Nova"
Since he was a citizen of USA before the invasion. he automatically becomes a citizen of American Terra Nova. As I president of Terra Nova so I asking you to bring him back to Planet Earth)
"With all respect, Ivan Dragovich Cravchenko"

Then Steven read the reply.
"Dear head administrator of Terra Nova."
"I can't retrieve Steven Universe back to Earth due to my orders"
"He is the main concern for the Empire right know and can't be retrieved."
"All questions is to Emperor himself."

Cravchenko? And what is Terra Nova? He asks to himself
Then his Gem-boy made a notification sound. He checks it.
"Would you like to merge your eye with Gem-boy interface?" Peri-girl winks at him.
"Yes," I "No"
Merge?" He presses his finger to "Yes". He gets a ticklish feel on his eyes.
Then an interface appears. His health bar appears on the bottom left corner while his ammo capacity appeared on bottom right corner. The map marker appears on the middle from health bar and ammo capacity.
Then notification appears on the top
"While you're in merged with Gem-boy" It scans around the environment. Every time when you look at a person or an object, it gives the information the way you're understanding.
Steven pulls out his pistol and examines it. It says "10mm Gemirian pistol"
Steven smirks "It feels like I'm in the game."
His thoughts were interrupted by the sounds of gunfight and explosions behind the sector 2 door. There was another explosion. The Sector 2 door felled down and two soldiers flew through the door and poofed. Steven prepared his pistol and approached the door which filled with smoke.
Then he aimed his pistol as he heard the sounds of high heels.
"Show yourself"
The smoke disappeared and it revealed for him. It's Yellow Diamond...a daughter of legendary previous Yellow Diamond. She looks pretty young and she is around the same height with Steven.
Steven blushed the way she looks. She is incredible. He expected her to be a tall, menacing Yellow Diamond that Crystal Gems mentioned to him a lot.
But what he gets? A complete lie, She is short and not menacing at all, But yet attractive.
"Wow...a son of Rose Quartz himself was captured by Carnelian. Not even a 15 seconds and I can already tell yours Rose offspring. But I guess I shouldn't be surprised that much." Yellow Diamond said with the small smirk.
"I should know that Yellow Diamond herself would be here" Steven still aiming his pistol at her.
Yellow Diamond didn't attack him; instead, she placed her hand on her left hip. "It's not nice aiming your weapon at lady Diamond."
"Says the one who tried to send Jasper and Peridot to retrieve us."
She chuckled. "I never send them. The Diamond Authority sent them"
"Which in fact: You're the part of Diamond Authority"
"Steven, Steven, and Steven, are you not happy that you see your favorite Diamond alive? I know I do." She then gave him a slight wink.
Steven smirked. "No, I don't. And besides, I only first time to see you in close. Also...how do you know my name?"
Yellow Diamond rolled her eyes slowly "Weeeell. Let's just say that you're gained some reputation around Homeworld and of course..." She air quotes "Peridot."
(Whats with Peridot and everything?) Steven thinks in his mind.
Then Yellow Diamond changed the topic. "Let's change the subject. I have an offer to you."
"Which is?"
"Let's just say, if I help you to escape this disgusting place then you will take me."
"No."
Yellow Diamond widens her eyes in surprise "But why?" She asks worriedly.
"Why I should I trust you? I don't want a Diamond who will back stab me."
"I never backstabbed anybody and never will" She justifies herself.
"I said, no" He approached and checks the terminal.
"Please?"
"No"
"Pretty please?"
"No!"
"It's not fair. I had never done anything horrible to you! I ask you not like a Diamond to Pearl...but a person to person. I don't have good fighting skills. I can promise you that I never backstab you...I-I can be your friend."
"Friendship is not about offers, Yellow. I don't even know if you have them.
"I had friends...But they all dead thanks to Carnelian. The other one is far away from us."
She approached Steven and gently lands her tender hand to his shoulder "Please Steven, not for me...but for your own freedom"
Steven turns around to her. Her lips quivers and her puppy eyes break his heart. Steven looks at the nearest mirror.
"What I became?" He looks at his reflection. He can't recognize himself. Where that kind Steven gone?
"So, do...do we have an agreement?" She blushed lightly
Steven released a deep breath. "Fine, we help each other."
Yellow Diamond loved that" - a Yellow Diamond-girl made a weak smile while the hearts "exploding" behind her.
Yellow Diamond gave him a seductive smile. "Then you have my gratitude and a small reward."
She then presses her lips to his cheek, making a short but a sweet kiss. Steven blushed but smiled at the same time. It his first romantical kiss. Not a Pearl's motherly ones but a true kiss on the cheek.
Yellow Diamond feels the same thing. She never kissed somebody. But thanks to White Diamond and some Ellysian magazines. She has basic knowledge of this.
Steven awkwardly scratched his back "Come one, we should move-"

His words were cut off when there's another explosion happened. This time, it was Sector 1 main door. Overseer walked from the smoke with the small group of Gemirian soldiers and a big super battle droid which a lot bigger than Yellow Diamond and Steven.
It has heavy plate diamond armor and it's holding an M-76 Revenant Light Machine Gun. Overseer noticed both of his subjects are in the loss.
"Great...A puny human and diamond scum are together. What a happy reunion." Overseer crossed his arms
Steven: "What do you want from us?"
Overseer throws his hand in the air "Very simple thing"...return to the cell or..." He then pulled out his electric machete looking thing. "Both of you will die."
"You dare to threaten Yellow Diamond?" She hisses at him.
"Hah, we don't serve the Diamond Empire and their corrupted system anymore."
He points his finger to Diamond Prime "Our Emperor helped us to regain once mighty true Empire which Diamond Authority is no more. We're already conquered half of Galaxy and soon our forces reach the capital of Ellysian Empire. Our Emperor will rule the galaxy and Gemirians will 'be a legendary and only race in the Galaxy."
"Yeah right, There is still some races can kick your Empire's butt, buddy."
"You refer to Earth? Heh, Earth is under our boots, my friend
"What are you talking about?"
"We annexed your planet nine years ago. We watched how we nuked Moscow. We watched how we Destroyed NATO and EU, We watched how we Genocide the entire population of Muslims, Jews and others. And we watched how the population of humans dropped from 7.1 billion to 4.1 billion."
Overseer grins evilly "Your people soon will lick our boots...and the rest this Galaxy in existence."
Steven closed his eyes. He imagined how Earth would be...nothing but a desert planet.
Yellow Diamond placed her hand on his right shoulder. "I'm so sorry, Steven. My father tried to destroy your planet. You don't know what his plan included. It was horrible even for me.
I never wanted to kill the entire population because of stupid re-population system. I understand your feelings...and I feel the same."
Steven opened his eyes.
He then slowly got up on his feet while giving a furious stare to Overseer. "I promise; one day...the rebellion will stop your ambitious Empire and retake Homeworld back to right hands."
"And I will help the Rebellion at any cost." Yellow Diamond finishes.
Overseer smirks "I doubt that. Diamond Prime..."
Diamond Prime turned his head to Overseer.
"Execute order 66." Overseer orders to the droid.
Then Diamond Prime eye becomes red. He then reloaded his light machine gun approached slowly to the center with big foot sounds. "Executing Order 66: Kill all diamonds and their allies!"
He aimed his gun at Yellow Diamond. Then light machine gun barrel starts spinning. "Look out" Steven cried out to Yellow Diamond
Steven lunged at her and pushed to cover and pinned her down. Diamond Prime starts shooting everywhere as possible. Steven closed his eyes because the sounds of shooting are the worst.
"Uh...we should get into cover, sir." Gemirian trooper point's outs a logical action.
"Good idea." Overseer agrees
They hide under the desk and covered their ears. Then the ammo capacity reached zero and barrel of a gun stopped spinning. Diamond Prime shakes his gun from the heat while Steven still keeps his eyes closed just in case.
"Ugh, Steven?" The voice of Yellow Diamond whispered in his ear.
"Am I dead?"
"No, but could you..." She awkwardly pauses "You know..." She gently touches his hair. "Lift up your head from my uncomfortable place. That makes me...in strange sensation."
Steven opened his eyes and find out what is going on...
Apparently, he was laid his head on her chest, accidentally. At first, he thought that he laying on the stomach...He admitted that he didn't expect that Yellow Diamond is soft to him...or does every Gemirians like that?
They look like space rocks but instead they have a very soft body just like humans if Carnelian and He would meet again. Then Steven probably needs to ask this question...since Carnelian is very nerdy person about the lore of his people.
"Oh, sorry. He then got up from the floor and offered her a hand."
"Just be careful." She accepts his hand.
She then slaps him right into his cheek. She then grabs him by his shirt and leans his face to her "If Anybody will see us like that. I will personally throw you from the Tower of Diamond...if it survived from Carnelian." She threatens him.
"Point taken." He rubs his cheek because of the pain she did to him.
Yellow Diamond let go of him. She then peeks out of from their cover. She looks around and sees a metal door. Yellow grins when she has an idea.
"I have an idea. Wait near the main exit. I will give you signals..."
Steven grabs her arm to stop her "You're a diamond, you could use your superpowers."
Yellow Diamond rolled her eyes. "I'm a politician, not some a mega Diamond. Also, this planet contains The EMP Generator."
"A what?"
"It deactivates the power of our Gemstones somehow. That means you can't summon your shield and you other abilities while the Generator is working."
"Too bad," Steven sighs. Then He released her hand "so what's your plan?"
"I will distract it while you wait for my signal. I will try to make sure he will try to shot me with a rocket."
"And then?"
"And then, if a rocket hits the main door, then run DBAY 24, it's not far there from you."
"But what about you?"
"I will keep them busy while you preparing the shuttle for the escape...but if they will me slow me down...then leave without me"
"I will not leave you here. Yellow"
"But-"
Steven squeezes her hand gently "Once the main door will be destroyed. Run to DBAY 24. I will cover you"
Yellow Diamond looks at him with the angry stare "You think I'm not a capable of anything. You think if you are Crystal Gem then you can do anything-"
"What's with you and Crystal Gems problem?"
His words made him punch right into his jaw "My problem? the Crystal Gems killed my father!" She hisses at him "I watched him die by the hand of Rose Quartz! Do you know how it feels be alone!" She snarls
Then a small tear comes down from her eye. Steven couldn't watch her like that. He wiped a small tear from her face and strokes her cheek.
She shyly blushed. "W-what are you doing?"
Steven smiled "It's called "cheering you up", Yellow. Now...I fully understand your depression...and I'm sorry. I know the feel of loneliness. I never saw my mother, I didn't spend much time my father. But hey, Just listen to me, okay? I promise that everything will be okay. I will be...with you."
Yellow looked at the floor and starts sobbing. Steven hugs her and comforts. She sobs into his shoulder. His shoulder part of his shirt became a little bit wet. He starts caressing her pointy hair.
Steven is somehow admiring her. She is just like an angel to him. Even she doesn't have Connie's kindness and charisma. But she has her own personality. She yet didn't show to him.
Yellow Diamond calmed down. Her makeup is melted thanks to her tears. Steven was about to wipe his tears. But she grabbed his face and leans to him to meet her lips with his.
Steven melted in her kiss. He can feel a taste of mango on her tongue which made him in heaven. The way Yellow gives him kiss is a satisfaction to him.
He wished that Connie will be his first kiss...Interesting that he and Yellow Diamond met about an hour ago and already fell in love with her. He spends with Connie nearly entire his childhood. But they never kissed. Is he really attractive to Gems rather than to humans?
Yellow Diamond stopped kissing him. She leaned her face away from him.
She gives a quick kiss on his lips again "I love you, handsome" She quickly points to him "Now go!"
Steven nodded and left his cover, by successfully dodging the Diamonds Prime's bullets. He takes the cover the near the main exit.
He gets a notification his "Gem-Boy"
New Perk!"
Steven cheeks his perks:
"Diamond Lover" Thanks to your relationship with Yellow Diamond, you get a 50% damage bonus to the Rebels and Outcasts ( The animation shows Steven-boy and Yellow Diamond-girl are making out on the bed. Then Rebel ship explodes outside their window. Steven-boy looks with the endless smile while directing his face to Yellow Diamond-girl. She smiles back.)
Steven smiles at it. He then looks at Yellow Diamond who stood up openly to Diamond Prime.
"HEY METAL DROID!" She shouted to Diamond Prime
Then Diamond Prime casually turned his head to her. Yellow Diamond awkwardly cleared her throat. "Want a piece of my ass?" She slapped her butt in order to make it pissed even more.
Steven blushed like a madman and rest of soldiers looked puzzled at each other.
"Carnelism is a truth, Diamondtism is a lie!" Its voice created an echo.
"Well..." Yellow begins to sweat as she thinks "Too bad! You never get this sweet little booty of mine!" She enthusiastically shakes her hips.
"Embrace the Carnelians or you will-be-eradicated!"
"Make me," Yellow grins
"Commencing Tactical Assessment: Diamond Authority's threat detected. Long live Emperor Carnelian!"
Then Diamond Prime prepared his rocket launcher. He fired it and the rocket flew to Yellow Diamond...but she managed to dodge it and the rocket hit the main door instead.
"Run! I will cover you!" Steven yelled to her.
With that Yellow Diamond ran away from the entrance. Steven left his position while covering her leave.
"You-stupid-robot! You gave them a chance to escape!" Overseer scolds at Diamond Prime
"Diamondtism is not-"
"JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!" Overseer screamed very loudly "Kill the Diamond scum and human at any cost" He orders to everyone.
Then all soldiers charged from their covers and pursuing them. Meanwhile both Yellow Diamond and Steven are running as faster they can trough the bridge.
Steven looked at the sky to see G-TIE-fighter is getting closer. It fires the rocket to their location. Steven pushed Yellow Diamond forward. The rocket hits nearly him. He didn't get damaged but the bridge did. It cracked and the pieces began to fall down.
Then the entire bridge part section where Steven is fell down with him. He hit the pipe and trough the observe room while breaking the glass and having rough land.
He growled in pain as he stood up.
"Steven...Are you okay?" The voice of Yellow Diamond can be heard above.
"Yeah, I'm fine! Run to shuttle! I will meet you there!"
"Subjects escaped from the main containment! Lock-down procedures engaged." The loudspeaker cries out around the entire facility.
The force field turned off and out of the door ran eight Imperial Gemdlers soldiers. (They look like First Order Snowtroopers from Force Awakens)
"Go, Go, Go!" One of them cried out.
Steven entered the cover and shoots them. They are easy targets. He shoots last of them. He then runs up to poofed gemstone and grabs E-11 blaster rifle.
He runs away from the observer room only to be greeted by another group.
"Hold your ground" Gemdler soldiers orders to others.
But holding their ground didn't help them. Steven again easily deals with them.
Steven jumps trough destroyed bridge. Then Assault Transport approaches to him.
"He is ours!"
"Copy, prepare your weapons!"
They both jumped out from assault craft. They were joined by eight soldiers.
"Stay away from me!" Steven warned.
"Kill the test subject!"
Steven shot them easily. He then entered the ventilation shaft. Another eight soldiers with fully armored imperial peridot ran up with them.
"Place the turret here!"
The peridot place a square thingy. It transforms into the turret. Steven quickly got in cover.
A turret starts shooting. Steven then manages to destroy the turret.
He leaves his cover and charges while shooting the others. He kicks the peridot right into the armored stomach. She quickly pulls out her electric baton and attacks him. Steven dodges her attack and takes her baton away. He swings his baton right into her armored face, Instantly killing her.
(Time skip)
After dealing another waves and waves of the enemy's. Steven stumbles upon a big elevator.
"You think that killing my men will help you? The Empire has millions of these soldiers to fight. But our greatest accomplishment is here. The loudspeaker cries out.
The big elevator opens. A huge armored jasper class gem slowly approaches to him.
"Our classes had a huge update since 2017. Behold the Empire's new unit. The Jasper Warlord."
The jasper prepared her hammer and lunges at him. Steven dodges her attack.
About 10 minutes of dodging and deflecting. He notices that her gemstone is located on her forehead and it doesn't have any armor.
Then he has an idea. Jasper Warlord charges at him again. He dodges it and runs up to her.
He jumps at her arm and jumps at her forehead. He stabbed with his sword that he found. Jasper Warlord death gasped and poofs. Steven landed on his feet.
"Dammit! Why you can't die already!" The loudspeaker cried out.
Steven entered the elevator. The elevator transferred him higher.
He left the elevator and looks around. He notices an escape shuttle that he needs to escape. He also notices how Yellow Diamond is hiding behind the boxes while about four or five shooting at her from another bridge.
"How I'm going to reach to her?" Steven thinks the possible options
Steven reminds himself. That he has explosives. He looks forward to seeing a large tower that absorbs power from the infinite rain.
"Bingo"
Steven places explosives on the right angle. He moves away little and detonates. The tower explodes and falls to another bridge. Steven climbs on fell down the bridge and runs troughs it with no problem.
Steven then shoots soldiers that bothered Yellow Diamond. She looks puzzled until she saw him.
"You're alive!" Yellow Diamond runs up to him kiss him happily, knowing that he didn't die.
«Of course, I'm not dead, Yellow." He looks at the shuttle "So this is our shuttle?"
"Indeed. Give me your card"
Steven gives a card to her that he grabbed previously. Yellow Diamond inserts the card. The boarding ramp lowers.
They entered the shuttle. Yellow Diamond take on the pilot seat while Steven on the passenger seat.
"Do you know how to control this?"
She starts the engine. She grins at him like she has "upper hand" on him "You think Diamonds don't have skills?"
They see how the Overseer and Diamond Prime with soldiers are running to the shuttle.
"Don't worry, I let them a small present." Yellow Diamond smirks
Overseer nearly reaches to the shuttle until he hears the sound of beeping.
"Those lucky bastards" Overseer growled as he realized.
Then the waves of Explosion hits Gemirians and they flew every direction. Some splashed to the endless ocean...some are not.
Both Steven and Yellow Diamond smiled that they won. Yellow Diamond lifts up the shuttle and flies to space. They reached the orbit.
"So where are we going?" Steven asks her.
"To Homeworld."
"You're going to the heart of the Empire?"
"Yes, I will fix my mistake that I did ten years ago."
"No' you're not. He will break yours in a matter of seconds. The whole Empire hates you."
Yellow Diamond released her breath. "Fine, do you have any ideas?"
Steven thinks"To Earth, I think. There is has to be some a kind of rebellion...and I want to see Connie and my father."
Yellow Diamond sighs "Initiating the hyper jump process to Sol System." She is typing the coordinates.

Meanwhile the Overseer, who is lost his legs, slowly took his disc and threw it to the ground. This disc showed a holographic image of Emperor Carnelian.

"Both...Diamond and Human...are escaped...from...the...Empire...my lord." He grunts every word.
Then he dropped his head to the ground and poofed.
"New" Homeworld, Imperial Royal Palace.
Carnelian cut the transmission and slowly turned around to Advisor. Obsidian slowly removed his imperial cap.
"You...you persuaded me to not increase defense on that planet."
"My lord, I-I never knew that-" Obsidian shakes
Then Carnelian pulled out his swords and starts cutting his console and stuff. Obsidian closed him because of flickers that are hitting his body.
Then Carnelian stopped his actions. He again slowly turned to him again. "Anything else?" He hisses.
Obsidian starts shaking even more. "Well...There is-"
Then Carnelian used his pull force on him. Advisor flew to him through the air and Carnelian grabbed him by his neck.
"You're lucky that I need you, Obsidian."
Then he released him. Obsidian coughed very loudly as he gets up on his feet. Then they hear the footsteps of high heels. He turned his head to the sounds.
It's Phantom Pearls. The left Pearl has dark chrome armor; the middle one has a white shoulder pad that has Crystal Gem symbol while being crossed by the red line. The right has a Yellow Diamond symbol being crossed by the red line. They approached Carnelian and bowed to them.
"I heard about you, the most fearsome and deadly Pearls in whole Empire," Carnelian comments
"They are my best assassins, my lord." The leader of Phantom Pearls
"Then rise, my Pearls."
The Yellow and White Pearl got up on their feet.
"Steven Universe escaped from my hands. He probably will reach Earth by the time I talking to you. I want to bring him alive at any cost. I know that Yellow Pearl will handle this...but for White Pearl...i don't know."
He then leaned his head to White Pearl. "I know that you were his dearest friend, Pearl. I'm not sure that you will bring him to Homeworld."
"I-I will bring to Homeworld, I promise that, my lord." She nervously said through her mask.
"We will see about that. Now go and make the Pearl Class proud again."
"Yes my lord." Both Yellow Pearl and CG Pearl bowed to him
Then they left the throne room. Carnelian sat on this throne.
"This is just beginning Steven. And I make sure that I will stop you."
Earth's orbit, Sol System
The shuttle jumped to Sol System. They were not far from the Earth's orbit.
Yellow Diamond looked at the planet with shocked on her face "Steven?"
Steven slowly opened his eyes. "Hmm?"
"You probably should see this." She pointed to Steven's Homeworld
Steven looked at Earth with a weak look at first, then widens his eyes as he saw a horrible thing. Earth is heavily damaged. The ex-Part of Russia is filled with small craters. The Orbit is controlled by Imperial Dreadnought with ten Star Destroyers.
"No, No, No...IT CAN'T BE, THEY DID IT!" He cried out as he punched the window of the shuttle.
Steven then sat on his seat and cups his face in sadness.
Yellow Diamond gently places her hand on his shoulder "I'm so sorry." She whispers
"Don't be. I knew that one day it will happen...But at least I expected that Earth will be ready for the invasion...We should get into orbit."
Then Yellow Diamond accelerates speed.
Imperial Dreadnought, Main bridge.
Colonel Hein Redstone is sitting on his chair while watching the Earth. For ten years. He got lucky. He now has complete power over the Earth's orbit.
He likes that Carnelian gives him, even though he supported Aura Quartz during the revolution.
"Um, Sir? The undefined vessel is trying to reach Earth's orbit" The bridge officer salutes to colonel.
"Shoot it down." He orders
"Yes, sir."
Then one of the ship's turrets aimed at the shuttle and released a rocket.
