Maybe this was not one of his greatest ideas.
These thoughts came to Xin Fu when Zuko walked into room. He could already see the steam flowing from the heaving muscles that rippled the topless emperor’s body. He had been to see her and this was the result. His beating would be legendary and he would receive the respect of those he wanted. They would see that he could stand up to the emperor himself.
As Zuko walked closer, Xin began to doubt his plan even more. He knew his pain tolerance was not that high and this man approaching him intended much harm to his being. He hoped Ghee remembered to have healers waiting for his arrival in the village and more than one. He also hoped that his rescue did not take days. It would allow for more beatings and possibly his death. He had no idea who she would send.
The guards surrounding him moved away and Xin felt naked. He stood and held up his hands. “My Emperor first let me speak. I beg for your forgiveness. I forgot myself; she is beautiful and I tried…I tried…”
He heard the wind then felt the pain of Zuko’s fist slamming into his mid section with such force it dropped him to his knees. He sucked in air trying to breathe as the same fist slammed into the side of his face.
Yoro moved back as Xin hit the wooden floor beside his feet; bleeding, gasping, clutching his body and trying to squirm away. It was a pitiful display. Why did Ghee think he was useful? He was untrustworthy. No one trusted Xin. The only reason he could fathom that she would want him free was that he found her out. He wondered if she had told Xin anything about him. It was a possibility.
A frown crossed Yoro’s face beneath his mask. She was only loyal to herself; and he knew he should have turned her in but her money was good. She promised to give him what he wanted. He already had the concoction in his room and just had to wait for the right time when Sokka was not around Azula.
Yoro began to smile at his good fortune even though Xin screamed in pain as the emperor’s foot smashed his arm and he crumpled to the floor again. Yoro’s mind began to wonder away from the violence before him and towards the infinite pleasure; he would have raping the fire bitch.
What if the potion Ghee delivered to him did not work on the empress? She said to would make her easier to control. It would only hold her captive for a while. He needed to know how long he had to exact his pleasure. He needed to test it on someone.
Xin grabbed his ankle but Yoro kicked his hand away, angry that he took him from his musings. The distracted guard moved a distance away from Xin and smiled under his mask. There was only one person that he could think of to test his poison, the captain’s woman, the earthbender Toph. It would pull Sokka away from Azula as he wanted. The woman would die because only the presence of the fire gene could repel the poison. It would be payment for all the disrespect shown to him by his captain.
He would have to find away to get on lighter duty to be around the earthbender. Rescuing Xin and making it look as if he was hurt will be the way to go about it. He would replace the man guarding Iroh during his meetings with Toph. He would offer them tea and give her the potion then. It was odorless so all he had to do was conceal it from Iroh’s eyes. He would assault Toph and bring Sokka heartache. There was no down side to this plan.
Yoro sighed with impatience as his attention returned to the beating. How long would this last; he was eager to get his plan moving. The emperor looked as if he had just started and Xin was already bleeding profusely from his face and body. Xin would die here if this massacre continued.
With his anger, diminishing Zuko suddenly walked away from his beaten opponent; a softer, warmer, body deserved his touch.
“Yoro, See to our bleeding advisor.” Commander Zhao walked from the room followed by the other guards.
Yoro looked down at the groaning man with disgust. Xin fought back if one could call it that but the emperor was angry, and even if Xin Fu had an army the result would not change.
Yoro kneeled down next to the bleeding man and leaned close enough so that he could hear him speak. “You had better be worth my life.”

“I think that I should sleep beside the balcony doors in case I have to make a sudden exit.”
Toph sighed hearing him pacing the room. “Aang there are better places than here to sleep.”
The airbender stopped pacing and stared at the grey-eyed woman listening to his footsteps. “This is the only room I want to sleep in Toph…with you.”
He watched her lower her gaze and make nervous gestures as he approached the bed. “Aan...”
“Why do you think I came here? It was not see Zuko or anyone else. I came here because you are here. I needed to see you Toph. I want to be around you all the time. I think about you constantly. I do not care if you think you love Sokka. I love you and I am not giving you up without a fight.”
She stared at him with her mouth agape and her eyes opened as wide as they could stretch without permanent damage. She could not breathe as she listened to the sounds of his breathing deepen as he moved closer. He loved her.
“You can’t love me. I belong to Sokka. I have always belonged to Sokka.”
Aang’s body tackled her onto the bed causing her to gasp in surprise. She could feel his lips above hers ready to crush hers. Her heartbeat increased to a million beats a second and she was not sure what had caused it. Had his declaration of his love made her warm and frantic at the same time or was it his body, or was it both. She did harbor emotions for the powerful bender.
“You think you belong to Sokka. Why are you here alone if you belong to Sokka? Why have you waited so long to give yourself to him?”
He felt her body tremble beneath his and her breathing become even more erratic. “I know why Toph.”
He lowered his voice as he stared down at her. “You are waiting me.”
A whimper escaped the rock wielder as Aang’s lips claimed hers. Powerful feelings erupted inside of her that she did not know could come from her body. She softened into water, as his kiss grew stronger. Her hands slowly surrounded his strong shoulders to pull him closer to her even though she could barely breathe she wanted him to crush her.
The rather stern knocking on her door ended the passionate embrace and Aang looked down at his disoriented earthbender and smiled.
“Toph its Suki, Iroh thought I should come and speak with you.”
He felt her freeze and then he felt anger flow from her. He knew why she disliked Suki.
The door slowly opened and Toph appeared before her. Suki looked at the shorter woman with annoyance. “Can I come in?”
“Why?”
Suki sighed and shifted from one leg to the other. “Iroh thinks that we should talk.”
Toph knew of what Iroh thought they should talk about but she did not care. Suki was the last person Toph wanted to talk with about anything. She came here with a mission and that mission was to get Sokka back. “What does he think we should be talking about?”
Suki frowned at the annoying earthbender. What did he see in her? She was abrasive and did not seem to have any softness inside of her. She was sure Sokka had not slept with her yet. He was waiting for something and she wanted to be what he was looking for again. “Sokka,”
Toph waited a few more minutes at the door then she moved away and let Suki inside. Toph closed the door and returned to her bed.
Suki looked around the room and noticed the small amount of furniture it held to help Toph negotiate her quarters. She returned her gaze to the woman standing at the end of her bed and frowning at her. “I want to say that I still love him and that my love will not go away. I am not here to cause any friction between you and Sokka. You do enough of that on your own; you reject him and that tells me that you are unsure of your feelings. Well I am not and this is why I am telling you this.”
“So you are trying to take away Sokka.”
“No…yes... I mean I miss him and he misses me too Toph. You have doubts about him I can tell. It just not a virgin’s fear you have. Life with a member of the Emperor’s army can be hard and lonely. You require someone with you all the time. I can deal with the absences. You treat him as if he does not matter. What do you think that is doing to him? Do you see him here with you?”
“He has a job to do Suki. He guards Azula and that is a full time job if you recall our battles with her. If Sokka wanted, you back all he had to do was ask you and he has not. I think that he is tired of you and wants something different.”
If Toph could see, she would have rejoiced from the shocked expression on the warrior’s face. Suki did not think the earthbender could hold her own. Perhaps she underestimated her rival.
“You think he wants someone who ignores him, treats him as if he is not good enough. You make him work too hard. You act as if you are the only woman here who sees him hurting. I am not blind to what he wants Toph. I will give him what he wants if he asks.”
Aang waited behind the painted partition while the two argued. He could hear heavy breathing from Toph, and knew she was trying so hard not to squash Suki with a stone from the wall. He knew she loved Sokka and it would be hard for her to stop but he was not going to make it easy for her to make a choice. She would come to realize that maybe just maybe she wanted someone else.
“Get out of my room before I do something you will regret.”
The chosen words of her rival were not lost on Suki she knew exactly what Toph was capable of doing. The Kyoshi warrior turned and walked towards the door and then turned back around. “Iroh has invited me to your meeting with him tomorrow.”
Toph heard the door close and then sat on her bed. She heard Aang come from his hiding place and sit next to her.
“Do you think there are other women that want him?”
“I don’t know.”
He studied her pained face, placed his arm around her waist, and pulled her into his chest. She willingly came to him as if it were the normal thing to do. She needed to be away from Sokka. She needed to have him as the only thing she had to love. He began to pull away from her. Toph raised her head from his chest and listened for his actions. He grabbed his staff and then her wrist.
“Aang what are you doing?”
He pulled her to her feet and smiled down at her. One arm surrounded her waist as he moved towards the balcony doors. “I am going to make you happy.”
Toph held on to him and tightly as they leaped into the air. She heard him chuckle and hold her effortlessly to his body with one hand while holding onto his staff with the other. They soared high into the clouds and out of the sight of the palace. He heard her giggling and knew he had accomplished his mission.
~*~
Was he really going to go through with this?
His body certainly wanted her. She wanted him, even if she lay with her back towards him. He could see her nervous breathing and feel the excitement running through her body. She had tried almost everything to get him to this moment but none of that worked. He did not know why he became weak in her room. It could have been the news of Suki being on the island but he knew that was going to happen. He knew she would invite her there to try to make him crack. However, Suki’s presence was not what made him weak; it was Toph’s indifference.
He knew she was afraid to trust him completely but he needed her trust if they were going to go further. He had no idea what she thought her constant rejections would do to him. He did know that standing here undressing and preparing to deflower the former empress of the fire nation was not a thought Toph had.
Did he really care at this moment? He had a beautiful woman waiting for him to do anything he wanted laying inches from his reach. He wanted her.
She heard the fabric he wore under the armor fall to the bed and then felt it dip. She rolled onto her back and sat up. She stared up at him with wonder and the need that she tried to hide. He still wore his bottoms but he was still dangerous to her. He moved over her body with slow precision watching her watch him. His movements closer forced her back down into the bed.
It was as if he knew she was about to speak Toph’s name because his lips crushed hers drawing a whimpering sound from her. Her body melted on contact with his. She knew she would give him whatever he wanted if she did not stop him now.
She heard herself moan against his mouth and felt tremors throughout her body as his hands frantically undid the sash around her waist. He was skilled with the blade and women’s fabric. In no time, Azula felt the warm air on her body along with his strong warm hands. Her body arched towards him instead of away. He pulled her thighs apart and moved between them. She heard the cloth guarding what he wanted rip and felt his hands touch her wet flesh.
He pulled his lips from hers and heard his name come from her like a groan of pain. She wanted what he wanted and he planned to fulfill their needs right now. He pulled away from her for only a second to remove the fabric he wore forbidding his entry. He recovered her body, gripped the back of her knees, and pulled them up and hard against his sides. His mouth sealed over hers again and he moved hard against her twisting body.
~*~
He stood there staring at her as if it was against all of nature that he was outside her room instead of inside. She looked him over carefully trying to gage his mood. He seemed less combative almost apologetic in his stance. He had bathed. His golden eyes held no venom as before. His hair was wet; the water dripped down onto his chest that was still topless. A fact that Katara’s senses did not miss. She could feel the heat encompassing her body as she looked at him from head to toe.
Katara tried to hide her excitement but she heard a soft moan escape as she raised her gaze to his eyes. Steam rose from his body and dried the moisture from his head to his feet.
“May I come in and speak with you.” He moved closer only an inch separated his body from hers. She knew he could feel her melting. He felt like an inferno.
“Okay,”
She moved back and he walked in and shut the door behind him without taking his eyes from her backing figure. He followed her as she continued the path he wanted …straight to her bedroom.
The back of Katara’s knees hit her bed and she stopped moving away from him. Zuko crowded her body staring at every inch as if he would devour her soon. Her chest heaved with excitement. She nervously moved her hair as he reached up to caress the tops of her breasts.
A gasp of surprise filled the room and he took advantage of her open mouth. A helpless whimper came from her as Zuko began to kiss her. He pulled her tight against his body and assaulted her mouth. Her hands surrounded his neck trying to pull him closer. She was drowning and felt as if she were falling backwards. It took a moment for her to realize that he had lowered them onto her bed.
He ripped clothing and his movements became hungry and strong. He planned to make his word true; he intended to make her his tonight and she was not delaying his efforts. Her arching body and soft whispers of his name only made him more anxious to make her lose control.
The sound of rocks slipping is what made him freeze in his seduction of the water maiden. His lips pulled away from hers and he warned her to be quiet. His eyes were dark as he looked towards her window. The sun was fading as night approached. Someone was coming to take her away.
He quickly moved off the bed taking her with him. Katara saw the tips of the swords coming over her balcony. Someone was coming for her.
~*~
Alarms sounded throughout the palace and Sokka raised his head from Azula’s breasts. He quickly moved off the bed and began to dress. “Get dressed your coming with me.”
Azula nodded and picked her dress as he watched. A knock at the door took Sokka from the room. He buttoned his armor and spoke quickly to the guard. He returned to Azula to see her finish.
“Xin has escaped and Yoro is injured but he did manage to stop the general from escaping. We are taking you to stay with Iroh until the palace is safe.”
Commander Zhao walked into the room and bowed to Azula. “Empress this way,”
~*~
“Are you sure there were only seven?” Zuko asked Yoro for the third time.
The pain in his head was excruciating. He would kill Helo when he saw him again. He tried to kill him. All he wanted him to do was make it look like an attack, not bludgeon him to death. His head was bleeding so badly he could barely sound the alarm. If he did not their plan would fail. The guard would never leave and Xin would not escape.
Yoro groaned as he answered his Emperor. “Yes four freed Xin and the other three ran off elsewhere.”
Jai brought in a dead man clothed in a red ninja outfit. “Did they look like this?”
Superior fighters, what a lie, they could not even take a woman. Ghee said Xin wanted her. He could help their cause and he would receive extra payment for her capture. It seemed she was stronger than they thought. “Yes. Where did you f…”
“That is not your concern right now. You need to rest.” Sokka pushed him back down with a frown on his face.
~*~
Sokka followed the Emperor into his viewing room and saw Katara among those invited to this meeting. It was strange to see her there. They did not spend much time together; she saw Zuko more than anyone did. He wondered if the Emperor planned some important news concerning her. He did not know how he felt about that with the rebels plaguing the palace.
“Where’s Toph?”
Katara was about to speak but Zuko cut her off. “Toph is in very good hands trust me. You need not worry about her.”
The brother and sister looked at each other with concern, as the Emperor walked towards the window overlooking his courtyard. “You think Xin knows who the traitor is.”
Sokka turned from staring at his sister and looked at Zuko. “I know he has certain affections for my sister; and he is corrupt enough to use these rebels for his own gain. He does not care about them or their cause.”
Zhao smiled at his captain.”You have been around the empress for too long. You have picked up her sense to find corruption.”
Sokka raised an eyebrow at his commander. Zuko moved from the window as the moonlight showered his viewing room. He looked at his captain with suspicion. Sokka could feel something was not right. His senses were reeling for him to escape but there was nowhere to go.
Katara could see the worry on his face and became concern. Something was not right. She moved closer but Jai stopped her movement; he added a smile to soften his actions.
Zuko approached his Captain with a predatory gaze. “You know I hear things.”
Sokka stood his ground as Zuko came closer. If he thought, he was a traitor he would resign on the spot to hell with his years of service. He prepared himself for his curse-filled retort when Ming walked into the room wearing that evil smile of hers, and he knew nothing good would come from it. She was always everywhere he went.
Zuko looked downward at his captain as he stood before him. His eyes began to darken. “Tell me Sokka what were you doing with my sister?”
