So yeah well, just crawled out of a writers block this is the new chapter, I'm trying to improve but I don't know if I do let me know hope you like this. R&R please, tell me how I should run this thing peace love harmony

Day 11: July eleventh: A rainy day

I wake up to find myself alone in bed, which I find strange since there were three women in my bed last night. I open my eyes and see that the door to the balcony is open. Behind the window and curtain there are three silhouettes, who I presume are my three girls. I get out of my bed and notice a soft tapping on the roof of the chalet. I grab a pair of discarded boxers and join the girls on the balcony, all three of them are seemingly staring into the distance. “What’s there to see?” I ask them, looking in the direction they’re looking. “It’s raining.” Astrid simply declares. “Yeah so what? That happens more often.” I react. “Not here, this island has a micro climate, it never rains here in the summers, it only does in autumn.” Wanda clarifies. “Still, might be a once in a decennia occurrence.” I put the rain off. I look back at the falling drops and notice it’s raining pretty hard. “I hope there umbrella’s in this place, I’m not a big fan of being soaked.” I think out loud. “There aren’t but someone will bring them over in a while.” Shilo answers. I walk back and invite the girls in to shower, all of them follow me inside. We shower all together but it’s uneventful, After our shower I look outside again and see it’s raining even harder. “I’m not going out in this weather, let’s find something to eat in here.” I state, the girls agree and we go on a hunt through the kitchen to find some food suitable for breakfast. In the end we settle for a bowl of cereal and a carton of orange juice. After finishing our bowls, I insist we wash them since I’m don’t want to make a mess of the place the first day we’re here. “We should find something to do.” Astrid says dropping down in one of the couches. “I need to get back to my place.” Shilo mentions. “We’ll come with you to help you pack.” I react walking past a bookshelf where Wanda put the books she brought. “Excuse me?” Shilo asks surprised. “Well yes, if you want there’s a place here for you.” I answer, a large grin appears on Shilo’s face as she leaps at me to kiss me. After kissing for a moment I take a step back. “Let’s no overdo, ourselves otherwise I might not make it to tonight.” I react, Shilo agrees and calms down. We sit down on the couch with Wanda and Astrid and discus the option of doing in this house when suddenly there’s a knock on the door. I get up and walk over to it, when I open it a girl with blue hair is behind it, she soaking wet. It takes me only a minute to realize who she is. “You’re the girl from the boat.” I notice. “Yeah Ramona Flowers, here’s your umbrella in case you want to go around the camp.” She says shoving an umbrella in my hands. “Hey don’t you want to come in and dry up a little, I’ll walk you back to your hut afterwards.” I suggest. “Well you’re last one the list, so sure.” Ramona answer, I step aside and let her walk into the house, Astrid and Shilo get up and take Ramona to the bathroom to change her clothes. After a few minutes they return, Ramona is now wearing a bath robe. “It’ll take about an hour to get her clothes dry.” Astrid states, I shrug an offer Ramona a drink. She gladly accepts and I pass her a bottle of coke. I don’t sit down again but I walk to the basement door. The door doesn’t really interests me and what’s behind even less but for some reason I can’t get over the fact that no one talks about it. I look at the door, it’s a plain wooden door, more like a panel, there are no decorations on it what so ever. It’s a plain big board of oak wood with a simple iron handle and lock. I put my hand on the handle and try to push it down expecting it not to move, but to my surprise it does, the handle slowly gives way. I let go and walk back to the couch, I don’t tell anyone and decide to try again later when Ramona left. I walk back to the couch and sit down again. I lean back against the back of the couch and relax, the girls are more talkative then me. I mostly sit and listen, about an hour later Astrid goes to the bathroom and a couple minutes later she comes back with Ramona’s clothes. I turn around as Ramona gets redressed, this causes the girls to chuckle a little. I have to admit it’s strange since I have watched several girls dress and undress but I still try to stay decent. I turn back around and see that Ramona is redressed. Ramona walks over to the door to leave but I stop her. “You’re not going out there right, it’s still raining.” I react. “Yes, everyone will be worried about me.” Ramona reacts. “Well at least let my get you to your cabin dry.” I offer as I grab the umbrella. Ramona smiles and accepts I walk out in front of here, open the umbrella and stretch out my arm. She grabs my arm and we walk through the camp. Ramona guides me to a group of cabins that stand alone from the others. I walk Ramona over to one of the six buildings and walk to her door. “Thanks for the cover.” Ramona thanks me as she gives me a kiss on my cheek. Ramona opens the door and walks in.. I turn around and walk back to start walking back. I walk pas over the central court and see a someone standing at the games hall trying to stay dry. I walk over and see it’s a girl, despite her best efforts to stay dry she’s still soaked since the wind blows all of the rain under the roof. I walk over. “Hey you should get back to your cabin.” I tell her and take her in. She shorter than most people but not extremely short more like petite. She has black hair and green eyes, in a way she reminds me of Danny. “I can’t there occupied in there and I ran out of spare change for the machines.” The girl reacts. “You want to come with me, we’ve got place to spare and we’re not doing anything.” I propose to her. “Wait aren’t you the guy that moved over to the castle.” She notices. “Uh yeah so you still want to come?” I ask her. The girl nods and grabs my arm. I walk back to my place with her. “Say what’s your name?” “Dani, what’s yours?” She ask me in return. “Jake, Dani are you in any way related to Danny Fentom?” I ask her now. “Yes he’s my cousin, Danny told me about you.” She reacts We arrive at my cabin and I open the door. “I’m back, I’ve brought someone with me.” I shout “What you picked up another stray?” Wanda asks looking around the corner. Astrid walks down the stairs followed by Shilo. “Hey Dani haven’t soon you in a while.” Astrid reacts walking over to hug Dani. Shilo walks over to me. “Jake, you want to help me get my bags.” She asks. “Sure, come we can get back before lunch if we leave now.” I say opening the door again and the holding the umbrella out for her. Shilo steps out and I follow her out. Shilo takes the lead to her cabin. Inside she packs her bags while I wait on a bed. When she’s finished we go back to our place. I open the door and see Astrid and Dani sitting on the couch talking, Dani is almost naked only covered by a blanket. On a small coffee table are 2 cups. I walk in and sit down with the girls, Shilo goes up to unpack her bags. “Say Jake, I’ve been talking to Dani here and she’s interested in you.” Astrid says. I look at Dani for a moment. “You serious?” I ask Dani. “Yes, you sound like a fun guy and the extra’s are so much fun.” She reacts. “Extras?” I ask surprised. “This place, the other girls, stuff like that.” She answers. I smile and get up, in one step I’m over in front of Dani. I help her up and lean in to kiss her. She kisses back and soon after we’re tongue wrestling over each other’s mouths. I groan loudly into her mouth enjoying but I still decide to step back. Dani looks at me saddened and step forward again. I look over her shoulder and explain I don’t have any idea where to wash them. “You just have to put your dirty laundry in a bag and they’ll pick it up.” Dani laughs. I thank her for the information and grab a long sleeved shirt and a pair of long jeans from the closet, Dani picks a wide sweatshirt and a pair of sweat pants. I take Dani down and see the other girls waiting. “So had fun?” Shilo asks this time. Dani doesn’t answer and neither do I, the look on our faces should tell the girls enough. I grab the umbrella and stretch out both arms, on each arm two girls show up once we’re outside and I’ve opened the umbrella. We start walking to the cantina and when we arrive I notice we are seemingly the last to arrive. The rest of the camp is already gobbling up their food, as we walk over to the counter and get some stuff. As I walk passed some table I hear whispers, gossip I guess here and there I catch one of my girls’ name or my own slip the lips of someone. It seems that even here there’s a gossip network to spread news around quickly. We sit down at Danny’s table and start eating, until there’s the sound of a spoon being hit against a glass. I turn around to locate the origin of the sound and see Mirana and Lex standing on the counter. “People listen up, it seems that it will rain all day, so as a compensation for this rotten weather we’ve decided that we’ll open the booze fridge and there’s more as for the rest of the week, you all are entitled to a day in town.” Mirana shouts for the entire cantina to hear, everyone in it sheers after she finished her announcements, with a quick wave of her hand she mentions there is no other news and that we can continue eating. While we eat I invite everyone over to our place. We finish and leave, Under the cover of several umbrella’s, the entire group moves down to the stone building. When we arrive everyone sits down, Dani sits down next to me. “So Jake, when are we going to pick my stuff up?” She asks, Danny turns away from his conversation and looks at us. “Excuse me?” He asks. “Yeah Dani’s coming to live with us, something wrong?” I ask Danny. “Something wrong? Dani I promised my parents I’d look out for you.” He now says, I notice he doesn’t say her parents but his. “So? I’ve just picked someone it’s not like I’ve done this before.” Dani argues. “Yeah you did that before but this isn’t just a dude for one night, you’re joining Jake’s harem you know what that means right?” He now asks his voice shaking. “Yes, it means there are more girls around.” Dani reacts with a smile. “It means you’re bound to him Dani, how should I explain that back home?” Danny now asks, his voice is no longer calm but he isn’t shouting, but something tells me he might be soon, I look around and see that everyone is watching us. “Listen Danny, if you don’t want this we can…” I begin. “Shut up Jake, you don’t know anything about this.” Danny cuts me off. I shut up again and decide to see where this goes. “That doesn’t matter Danny it’s only for these 2 months, isn’t that a good thing me staying with one guy longer then a day.” She now defends herself. “Not if he decides otherwise.” Danny reacts again. “He won’.” Dani simply says. “What makes you so sure? Do you know him that well?” Danny now shouts back. “Well ask him he’s right here!” Dani shouts before rushing off through the front door. Danny and I are left looking at the open door. I look back at Danny and wait for him to say something. He take several large breaths and then does: “Will you, tell her to stay with you forever?” He asks me, his voice back at a normal level, you can still hear he’s angry. “Unless you’re cool with it and she wants it: no I won’t.” I react, my answer is followed by a long silence, no one speaks every bit of mood that hang in the air is now gone. I calmly wait for Danny to say something, he sighs and then does so: “Alright, you can do what you please but just don’t hurt her I’ll kick your ass.” He threatens, I nod and get up. “What are you going to do?” Danny asks. “Go look for Dani.” I react. “We’ll help.” Cameron offers, I gladly accept and walk out after grabbing my coat.
We split up over the entire camp and surrounding forest to find Dani, we agree that we’ll go back to the house in 2 hours, wither we found her or not. I look around the woods, my umbrella is useless here so I left it behind. I walk around and listen for any sound. I don’t hear anything but the dripping of the leaves, I walk on but stop again when I hear a sound that doesn’t fit with the forest, it sounds like a sobbing, like someone is crying. I follow the sound and end up at a small patch of grass next to the lake. On it is a large boulder and on top of the boulder is Dani, the sweatshirt she borrowed of me is soaked to the bone and I see she’s shivering. I take of my coat and drape it over her shoulders. I climb on the rock and sit down next to her. “It’s so unfair.” Dani sobs. “What is?” I ask confused. “Danny and me, he has everything a girlfriend, a family, friends actually everything. I have nothing, my own father even cast me out.” She answers still crying. I’m surprised to hear that and put my arm around her shoulders. “He just cares for you, he doesn’t want you to get hurt.” I say. “Only because his parents asked him too, they took me in and ever since he’s my babysitter.” Dani spits. I don’t know how to answer that so I don’t instead I just try to calm her down and let her cry on my shoulder. “You want to know why I joined you?” She asks after she calmed down and stopped crying. I answer with a simple yes. “I just wanted to belong to something, to feel actually loved other then love of a family.” She explains. “You can now.” I react. The rain over our heads is getting worse and in the distance you could hear thunder coming. “No, Danny wouldn’t allow that, he told you.” Dani reacts. “I’ve made him change his mind.” I answer her. Dani’s face looks up at mine, her eyes are red from crying and the rest of her face from the rain. “Seriously?” She now asks. “Seriously, you can stay all summer.” I answer, the storm is now close to us. “Come on let’s get back, I’m not a fan of wearing soaked shirts.” I tell Dani getting of the rock. With a soft giggle she gets off the rock too and we walk back to the camp through the trees. The entire time the storm gets worse, the last couple of miles we walk through mud while lightening cleaves the sky. I push open the door to the castle and let Dani get in first. Inside I see everyone’s back already. I close the door and see Astrid coming down the stair with a pile of towels and bathrobes. She passes the towels out and all of us dry ourselves. I look at my watch and see it’s almost six. Danny takes Dani upstairs for a moment when I want to follow her Wanda stops me telling me it’s something they have to solve themselves. Not being able to do anything I just go to the couches and sit down, the conversation is mostly about the rain and storm. Outside I notice it’s still getting harder. There’s a knock on the door but we barely hear it due to the noise of rain and thunder. After a second knock Astrid is the first to notice, she walks over to the door and opens it. On the other side is Linguini with an anorak and umbrella. “Linguini what are you doing out here?” Astrid asks after letting him in. “Mirana told us, that the weather is to bad to get everyone to the cantina so we figured we’d get the food to the campers, so what do you want?” He explains. Everyone starts telling him what they want, I simply wait until the last and ask for a pasta carbonara. “Is that it?” Linguini asks after writing down the last order. “No wait Dani and Danny are still upstairs, Astrid could you check on them since I can’t.” I ask Astrid kindly. She runs up the stairs and comes back down a minute later to tell Linguini that they want each a pizza. Linguini writes down the orders and leaves us again telling us the meals will be brought over in a about half an hour. I walk over to Astrid and ask her how Dani’s doing. “She looked fine and sounded fine too, I think they almost got it figured out.” Astrid reacts. As if Astrid said a magic word Dani and Danny walk down the stairs, on Dani’s face is a huge broad smile. I walk over to her but before I can ask anything she kisses me. “I can stay.” She declares after pulling her lips of mine. I smile and tell her we’ll pick her stuff up in the morning. Danny shakes up the room when he suggest an pre dinner drink. Everyone agrees and shortly after Danny is appointed as bartender. He makes everyone a cocktail to drink before our dinner gets here. I notice that when everyone tries to sit down, there isn’t enough room on the couches itself. So we grab every pillow we can find and sit on those. After half an hour there’s another knock, this time we hear immediately, I open the door and the girl with black hair that came to get me in the morning is standing there with a cart. “Come in.” I say stepping aside and helping her role in the cart. The dishes are passed around and we sit down all around. The girl leaves again unnoticed. The rest of the evening we drink and laugh, the plates from our dinner are piled up in the kitchen. Around 10 o’clock when the worst of the storm has passed our guests leave us and the girls and me retreat to our beds. As we all crawl in the bed, I notice we’re starting to run out of place, if I get anymore girlfriends some girls might have to sleep in the second room. I don’t care at that moment and just grab Dani and pull her close. I close my eyes and listen to the tapping of the rain on the roof, soon I drift away into a deep and peaceful slumber.
