Author's Note:
So, here we are at the eleventh chapter, and the last to have any action. Here's where the Transformers characters I alluded to before make their actual appearance and where we find out the exact fate of Kim and Ron's friends and family. If the previous chapter wasn't up to my usual stuff, I apologize. I was initially going to make this entire thing one long chapter, but decided to divide it into two in kind of a last-minute thing with the setup in one entry and the action/conclusion in another. I have one, maybe two more after this and this series will be done. It's been quite a ride, and I wanted to have this all to you a lot sooner, but, as I'm sure any writer knows, sometimes you just don't feel like writing for some stretches of time. I'm just sorry that my "stretch" was over a year. I hope I haven't lost too many readers over that. (Not that I could blame anyone for giving up hope I'd ever continue the series; I must have seemed like a total prick just vanishing like that.) But between having two relationships go sour, my sister running away and disowning the family, getting fired from my job, one of my favorite college professors commit suicide and me becoming almost hopelessly addicted to World Of Warcraft, things have been far from normal or conducive to the creative process.
If things get contrived or cliched or overly dramatic near the end of the battle, I apologize. I tried several different ideas for that scene, but I only found one I truly liked and wanted to write. I also apologize if I screwed it up; it's difficult to write the way I wanted to do it and I did the best I could.

Ron and the girls sat around the kitchen table in silence. After the sobering news Ron delivered about the research team, the four females had showered and dressed in silence. There was a tray of sandwiches on the table that Ron had prepared, but they had hardly been touched.
Kim had decided to hold off on telling Ron about their baby. How could she expect him to take any joy in being a father after hearing that their families and some of their closest friends had been slaughtered by an enemy no-one even knew existed?
Ron's mind was flooded with guilt. It had been he who recommended his parents as well as Kim's, her brothers and their friends to head up the project for Global Justice. He had said little in the hours since the message from Dr. Director and the girls were worried. Kim finally spoke up.
"Ron, don't do this to yourself. It wasn't your fault. There was no way of knowing what would happen. The security teams had cleared the place and..."
"And I was in charge of the security teams, Kim. I should have been able to see something dangerous. I should have stayed there for more than three days. I should have..." His right hand froze, a dull throbbing emanating from the back, though no wound or mark was visible.
Shego put her hand on top of his. "All of the 'should haves' in the world won't change what happened, Ron. All we can do is find out exactly what happened and make sure it never happens again."
Bonnie nodded in approval. "Shego's right. But we won't go in alone."
"Got that one right, Bon-Bon. I'm calling my brothers in on this. Bonnie's parents can watch the kids and Rufus while we're gone."
Yori, who had been nibbling on a turkey sandwich, added, "I have a feeling that whatever caused this is the root of our problems. There was no real explanation as to how Drakken got the technology to build his device or how the Jigoku no Banken got the adamantium for his weapons. We still do not know who was bankrolling the Foot Clan or Alistair Smythe. I do not know if it is merely wishful thinking or a premonition, but I believe this will answer all of our questions."
"One thing bothers me, though," Kim said. "I can understand my brothers, Wade, Felix and even Larry working on the research team, but why our parents?"
"My Dad's an actuary, Kim; I don't know of anyone who's better with mathematics. Before I was born, Mom was a real estate consultant. G.J. was thinking of refurbishing the base and using it as a training facility; she was there to inspect the buildings and make sure they were still in serviceable condition." He took a deep breath before continuing. "Your Dad's the world's premiere rocket scientist and computer technician - perfect for examining Smythe's machines. Your mother was on hand as the medic for the researchers." He folded his arms on the table and rested his forehead on them. "It's all my fault..."
Kim shook his shoulders. "It was not your fault, Ron! I read your reports on the base - it was clear. There was nothing there that could have harmed any of them. Smythe's machines were inactive, their power sources removed and any other weapons he had on the base were confiscated on the first day. Whatever got them, it was only there after you left."
Ron wrung his hands for a moment before saying, "I...I guess you're right. I just can't help but feel responsible, though."
Shego pulled him into a hug, joined a moment later by Kim. "The only thing you or any of us will be responsible for is getting payback," the green woman said. "Nobody messes with our family and lives to tell about it."
***********************************************************************************
In the still of the night, four objects moved through Earth's atmosphere. Despite passing close to a space station and several satellites, they remained completely undetected. Anyone seeing the faint light they gave off would have brushed it off as the reflection from a small rock or dust cloud. Having no physical form had its advantages.
Three were known as Sparks - the source of life for the race called the Transformers. The fourth, held suspended between the three, was actually solid matter, but it was being kept in a non-corporeal state by the same energy field which guided the Sparks to their destination.
Passing through the atmosphere, they eventually came to rest next to a dilapidated structure. The energy field faded away, its task complete, and the fourth object reclaimed its original shape. The Sparks moved inward and settled into three openings set into its face.
The device began to glow and hum as it activated. ***********************************************************************************
Less than two days later, Ron and the girls, decked out in their battlesuits, arrived at the abandoned base. Despite Shego's insistence on bring in Team Go, Ron had persuaded her to le the five of them handle it. A smaller team would be able to move faster and more quietly, and she reluctantly agreed. In addition to Bonnie and Yori's weapons, Kim had two small laser pistols in holsters at her belt, Ron carried a lightweight metal staff and Shego was carrying a fusion cannon similar to the one Drakken used on their last trip to the accursed grounds they now tread once more. Thinking of her old boss churned up deep feelings within Shego and she tried to push them away, but they were too persistent.
His confession of love was the most disturbing thing. It was bad enough that she lost someone she considered to be a friend, despite what had passed between them, but now she knew he could have been much more if she had let him. Though I probably wouldn't have Kim and Ron now, she reflected. But my happiness cost him his, and maybe his life, in the end. Sighing, she trudged onward. I'm just gonna have to make sure that the bastard that did this doesn't live to do it to anyone else.
As they made their way through the compound, it was obvious that the Global Justice crew had done a hasty evacuation of what was left of the research team and security personnel. There was blood everywhere, and it seemed that they had only been interested in removing the largest pieces of the bodies, as the occasional finger or ear was left laying where it fell. In one place, there was even an entire severed hand was still holding onto a door handle. "Damn," Kim said under her breath. "It's no wonder they couldn't identify most of the bodies. This place...it's a slaughterhouse...."
Their initial recon completed and providing no answers, they moved into the main bunker where Smythe had set up his laboratory. Upon entering, the first thing they noticed was that there were zero signs of combat in the room. "Check it, KP," Ron said. "This place is untouched. No dented walls, no blown-out doors, nothing."
"It's almost as if whatever attacked the base wanted this part intact," she replied. "If we can look at the security camera archives, we may be able to see what did this and why." She moved over to one of the large computer consoles, but it seemed as though the power had been cut. "I'm not going to get any data out of this thing without power; Shego, you're with me. We're going to get that generator running." With a nod, the green woman hoisted her cannon onto her shoulder and followed her lover out of the bunker.
Once out of earshot, Shego said, "So, I guess you're not telling him yet?"
"No. Not now. It'd be too much for him to take. Not to mention that he'd insist I go right back home and he needs both of us right now. Ron's a tough guy, but he can still be easily hurt. We'll get through this together - all of us - and then I'll tell him."
"You're one of a kind, Princess. Ron and I are lucky to have you." She squeezed Kim's hand briefly.
"Thanks, Shego."
"Have you told the other girls?"
"No. You're the only one who knows." Her voice took on a sadder tone. "Well, Mom did, but...."
Shego kissed her on the forehead. "I understand, Kimmie. We'll get through this; we always do. We'll make sure that whoever did this doesn't live to regret it very long."
Back inside, Yori had opened the compartment of the small terminal Drakken had been working on moments before his death. "This technology is unlike anything I have ever seen. I do not have the training of some of the other agents, but I feel safe saying that this equipment most likely did not come from this planet."
Ron knelt down next to her. "Drakken probably saw that, too - that's why he was working at it so long. Any man-made system he could have cracked in an instant." He sighed. "Never thought I'd say this, but I was he was still here now. Maybe he could help us get some answers." He tried to ignore the return of the throbbing sensation in his right hand.
Yori was about to reply, but Bonnie, on the other side of the bunker, cut her off. "Hey, guys! These machines Smythe built - they're hot!"
Ron sighed again. "Stop admiring the evil science, Bonnie. We have work to do."
"No, Ron; I mean they're hot; as in very, very warm! These things have been used - and recently!"
Before either Ron or Yori could say anything, three pairs of sinister red eyes lit up the darkness of the bunker accompanied by the sound of mechanical motors winding up. Both the computers and interior lights came on, revealing the deadly combat machines.
"This doesn't make sense....Smythe's controller was destroyed...these things shouldn't be able to move!" Bonnie yelled as she made a beeline for where Ron and Yori stood. Pulling her pink-and-black Kimmunicator from her belt, she tapped the emergency signal button.
Kim didn't even have to look at her own Kimmunicator to recognize the distress signal. Abandoning their search for the generator, she and Shego dashed back for the bunker doors. They got there in time to see the largest robot, the scorpion, obviously repaired since their last encounter with it, reach for Ron with one of its claws. Shego brought her fusion cannon to bear and fired.
The red beam merely dissipated on contact with the beast's armor, but it was no longer focused on Ron. It had turned and was now swinging its tail around to aim at the intruders. Throwing the obviously-useless cannon to the ground, Shego grabbed Kim and took a long jump, culminating in a dive behind some crates of supplies right before a particle beam bolt slammed into the place they used to occupy. The tumble to the floor ripped the holsters from Kim's belt, but she made no effort to retrieve them; the pistols would be useless against the machines.
That's when Kim looked up and realized that the two spider-like machines had taken to the ceiling. They craned their arachnoid heads around and fired; the larger gray one utilized a rapid-fire laser system while the black-and-red robot spewed green acid at them. As they ducked and dodged the attacks, Shego launched her plasma bolts, but without the time to aim properly, even the few that did hit were glancing blows that did no damage at all. It was all they could do just to stay alive and it was obvious they wouldn't be able to really fight back any time soon.
Ron had taken to blasting the scorpion with his energy attacks, but, unlike his last encounters with these beasts, the bolts had no effect. Well, someone's been busy upgrading these things. This is not just a malfunction. We're definitely facing a new enemy. Bonnie and Yori were working furiously at both the large computer and small terminal, trying to stop the robots, but to no avail. The only symbols on the screens were unlike any language they'd ever seen before and nothing seemed to correspond to the controls on the panel anyway. It was impossible to figure out what commands, if any, would shut me machines down. The situation seemed hopeless and the five members of Delta Squad figured that this would be their final mission.
A loud crash and a beastly roar changed all of that.
The doors of the bunker had burst inward, revealing three animals. One was a brown rhinoceros that seemed rather large for its species. Another was a meerkat, also oversized, covered head to toe in black fur with blazing red eyes and gleaming white teeth. It would be odd enough seeing these two together in the wild, much less half a world away from their native habitats. Their companion, however, stood out the most.
A six-foot-tall velociraptor, after all, is quite out of place anywhere.
The trio's gaze wandered between the humans and the mechaniloids for a moment, then they split up and each attacked a different arachnid. The meerkat latched onto the head of the black widow, clawing and biting at its mechanical eyes. Kim and Shego were forgotten and allowed to scramble away as the machine twisted its neck around and clawed at its own head with is forelegs in a futile effort to shake the rodent off.
The rhino had charged the larger spider, which was now on the floor and tracking Kim and Shego, slamming into one leg horn-first. To Ron's surprise, it actually penetrated the armor, revealing the circuitry beneath. The beast continued to pummel the machine, ripping and denting the metal while somehow avoiding its laser attacks. Seizing the opportunity, he called up his battle aura and hoped he had enough time to do what he needed to do.
Yori's eyes were focused on the dinosaur, engaged in combat with the scorpion robot. Every claw swipe, laser attack and rocket was deftly dodged by the large reptile, who answered with his own fangs and claws. Kim and Shego had taken a path around the combatants and regrouped with Bonnie and Yori. Ron stood several feet away, energy swirling around him.
"Looks like Ronnie's got a plan," Shego said right as one of the scorpion's legs pierced the floor next to him. "Just hope he doesn't get crushed in the process."
The beastly newcomers had managed to herd their targets into the center of the large room. The smaller spider was flailing aimlessly now; its eyes were totally destroyed and it had flipped over onto its back, unable to right itself. Its larger counterpart was missing two front legs on one side and could barely even keep itself balanced, much less worry about attacking the rhino. The raptor had not done as much damage to the scorpion as its comrades had done to the others, but the holes in the armor were respectable nonetheless and were forcing the machine to stay on the defensive. Kim and the other girls were quite impressed not only by the power these creatures possessed, but also the organization they seemed to have.
"KP," Ron said without looking at them, "take the girls and find some cover. Now."
The redhead didn't argue. The quartet scrambled into the far corner of the room, Shego pushing two large crates in front of them. As shelter went, it was pretty flimsy, but it was all they had.
Ron's aura, meanwhile, had taken on the hue of blood. In a way, he hated pouring so much rage into one technique, but he couldn't argue with the results. The few times he'd tried this, under the careful watch of his teacher, Monkey Fist, ended with the areas they trained in nearly being demolished. Gonna have to be more careful with this one, he thought. Can't risk hurting the girls or those animals. The three giant machines were huddled as close together as they could get and Ron knew it was time.
Gathering his energy into the space between his palms, he called out "EVERYBODY DOWN!". The girls went prone on the floor behind the crate and their animal allies turned and bolted for the doorway. Thrusting his arms forward, Ron unleashed the deadliest technique he'd learned yet; he and Monkey Fist had spent months refining and honing it into an even deadlier form of the powerful Kamehameha Wave. "Sekiha.....TENKYOKEN!"
The crimson energy wave shot across the room, even larger than the Kamehameha Waves he had used in the past. It slammed into the scorpion first, boring a hole though its head and body and then piercing the other two. Bits and pieces of machinery were blown off by the impact with multiple pieces of shrapnel slamming into the crates the girls had hidden behind ad the wall above their heads. By the time it had dissipated, the three robots were a heap of molten slag.
As was the entire wall behind them.
The roof began to buckle inward; the loss of the wall was simply too much for the building's structural integrity and gravity was taking over. A loud, gruff voice called out "What are you guys doing? Come on!" and it took Ron and the girls a moment to register that it was the rhinoceros that was talking to them. Deciding to sort out the mysteries of talking wildlife later, the girls leaped over the crates and joined Ron in a dash for the door.
Mere seconds after they had crossed the threshold, the bunker was reduced to a metal pancake. After checking to make sure their comrades were uninjured, the members of Delta Squad turned to their animal rescuers. "Okay," Ron said. "explain. Now."
It was the raptor who spoke. His voice was somewhat gravelly, almost as if he was growling every word he said. "Very well, but it will take quite some time. I suggest you return with us to our base. We will speak there" The trio turned away and started heading down the mountain, followed closely by the five humans.
***********************************************************************************
A short time later, the group had gathered in front of an abandoned museum. "Well, this is the place," the rhino said. "Come on in and make yourselves comfortable."
The chairs and sofas in the lobby were dust-covered and smelled slightly of mold but were still comfortable. As the humans took their seats, the raptor began to speak.
"My name is Dinobot. I am a Maximal from the planet Cybertron. My comrades are Rhinox," the rhino bowed his head slightly, "and Shadowkat." The meerkat saluted them. "We were sent here to stop a great evil from threatening your world: a powerful entity known as Unicron."
"Who or what is a Unicron?" Shego asked.
"An appetite for planets with a bad attitude," Rhinox said. "He was defeated in our universe a long time ago, but we fear another incarnation has awakened in this universe." Seeing the confusion on the humans' faces, he added, "There are multiple universes out there - perhaps an infinite number. Some are nearly identical to others, though there are always differences. In this universe, for example, whereas the entity Unicron has come into existence, none of the other Transformers were ever created." The confusion was still apparent. Rhinox said. "Maybe we'd be better off showing them."
"Very well. Dinobot - MAXIMIZE!" Dinobot roared and his body parts began shifting and moving into new places. Seconds later, where once had stood a large predatory reptile was now a tall humanoid robot with sharp, fanglike teeth and brandishing a sinister-looking sword.
"Rhinox - MAXIMIZE!"
"Shadowkat - MAXIMIZE!"
As the other two transformed, Delta Squad began to realize just what kind of technology they were dealing with. "We realize this is a lot to take in," Shadowkat said, her voice and body form definitely marking her as a female of the species, "but please don't be too alarmed."
"As I said," Rhinox continued, "we're called Transformers, for obvious reasons. In our universe, billions of us exist, but in yours, the only one to come into being was Unicron. And we're not sure why. Or why it has taken him so long to surface."
"The only thing that concerns me," Ron said, "is that that thing killed our friends and family and we're going to return the favor."
"You would be best served to exercise caution when dealing with Unicron." Dinobot said. "History has shown that his appetite for destruction is limitless. To one who can devour a planet, killing the five of you would be nothing."
"I don't see him devouring anything," Shego retorted. "I haven't even seen him. How do we know you're not lying to us? Why should we trust you?"
"Quite simply, you have no choice."
"Hold it, Dinobot," Shadowkat said, her voice carrying a light Russian accent. "We're here to help them, not threaten them."
Rhinox nodded. "She's right. The Matrix sent us here to protect this world. Intimidating those who are doing the same job won't get us anywhere."
Dinobot growled a little but said nothing further.
"Question." Kim began. "If this Unicron is so powerful, why hasn't he just destroyed the planet already?"
"He needs a body first." Rhinox explained. "We've been running scans of that base since we arrived two months ago. Near as we can determine, only his consciousness is here. We think it was trapped in a small module, dormant until recently."
"Smythe." Shego clenched her fists. "He found it and hooked that computer up to it. He was using and selling your technology to fund his war. Drakken's Graviton Inverter, Gemini's weapons, Shredder's mutagen, those giant robots.....every bit of it was probably reverse-engineered from Unicron."
Dinobot nodded. "That is why we were sent here. Because of the relationship all Transformers have with Unicron and Primus we are partly to blame, despite this Unicron most likely being a different entity than our own."
"Wait," Bonnie broke in. "Who or what is Primus?"
"Primus is the Great Creator of our kind. He and his brother, Unicron, were originally beings of conscious energy." Rhinox sat down across from them, the couch beneath him groaning in protest. "But whereas Primus was a benevolent creator, Unicron's only goal was to destroy what Primus created. He began devouring entire planets. Inhabited or not, it didn't matter. This led to a battle between the two that lasted for uncounted eons. Primus eventually won by sealing his brother in a lifeless asteroid, never to escape. It's possible that another incarnation of Primus also sealed this reality's Unicron into that module without an active consciousness, which may explain why our kind doesn't exist in this reality"
"So Primus stopped your Unicron from destroying the universe. Something must have happened after that, though." Ron said.
"It did. Unicron didn't escape, but he transformed his prison. Transformed it into a body for himself - a giant mechanical worldship that enabled him to destroy once again. He also endowed it with the ability to transform into a more powerful robotic form. Primus saw this and created a planet-body for himself, as well. This would eventually be known as Cybertron." Rhinox paused. "From what we can gather, it was originally an organic world, meant to contrast with Unicron's mechanical form. The Quintessons found the world and changed all of that by putting their cities and factories all over the surface and extending down into the depths. They created the first sentient robots, which would eventually be known as the Autobots and Decepticons - the first Transformers."
Kim interrupted him. "I thought you said Primus created you."
Rhinox nodded. "It is our belief that Primus created the Matrix, birthplace of the Sparks, which are the source of all Cybertronian life. The Quintessons may have made the first shells they inhabited, but it was Primus that infused us with life. Some even theorize that he called the Quintessons to our world so that they could do just that."
"So what happened with the Quintessons?" Bonnie asked.
"Our ancestors eventually rebelled and took control of the planet, before they began fighting amongst themselves in the Great Wars. It was during this that the secrets of transformation were first discovered. After the last war ended and Cybertron was restored to peace, the three of us were culled from the Matrix and sent here to stop this universe's Unicron from going on a rampage."
Yori spoke up. "What do you mean by 'culled'?"
"Rhinox and I served Optimus Primal in the conflict we called the Beast Wars - fought in this planet's prehistoric past. I did not survive to see the end of it, unfortunately. But because of certain actions I took, despite twice having served Megatron and even betrayed Optimus, I was permitted to return to the Matrix and share my knowledge and experience with the whole. Rhinox survived, but was captured by Megatron and his Spark stolen. It was placed inside another body and he was brainwashed to serve him in a new conflict on Cybertron. Despite this, he was also given a place in the Matrix."
"My Spark is newly-created and I have never before lived," Shadowkat added, "so I do not have the experience they do. We do not know why I was chosen, but I am here and I will do my best to protect your world."
Kim spoke up. "I know we've been asking a lot of questions already, but I have just one more: how can you turn into animals and why?"
Rhinox swept his arm in a wide arc, indicating the museum. "We arrived here with a device called a stasis pod. They are typically meant for one, but this could sustain the three of us. After we made planetfall, our Sparks were placed inside blank bodies in the pod, referred to as 'Protoforms'. They contain only a basic exostructure and internal systems, but once we landed, the DNA scanners in the pod sought out appropriate alternate modes for us. In the old days, the Autobots and Decepticons took the forms of vehicles, but they were a lot larger than us. We typically use beast forms instead. Shadowkat and I found the appropriate DNA in the taxidermy displays of this museum. Dinobot was able to find remnants of raptor DNA in the fossil exhibits. I guess it's lucky that he and I were able to reacquire our alternate forms from the Beast Wars.
"As to why, that's a different matter. Transformers typically choose modes that let them blend in with a planet's technology or wildlife. When the Beast Wars began, there was no intelligent life on the Earth, so disguise wasn't a factor. We chose our organic beast modes to protect us from Energon radiation. Energon is an energy source we need for power, but in its raw, natural form, it's dangerous to Cybertronian machines. The organic shells helped to block the radiation and kept us from getting fried."
Dinobot snarled. "Enough talk. They will need to rest and we need minor repairs before we go hunting for Unicron again. I have a feeling he won't be sitting quietly in that bunker anymore."
Shadowkat nodded. "Dinobot's right." She pointed down a hallway leading further into the museum. "There's an exhibit down that way, a replica of what I believe you call a 'log cabin'. There are beds in which you may rest while we repair ourselves." The humans said their thanks and went down the hall.
When they were out of earshot, Dinobot turned to Rhinox. "Is it wise to trust them so implicitly? I know humans were allies to the Autobots in the Great War, but some of them were not so scrupulous."
"I know; you don't have to remind me. But they've lost a lot already thanks to Unicron. I think we can trust them to at least not betray us."
"I hope, for everyone's sake, you are right." Without another word, the three Maximals headed for the basement of the museum, where their stasis pod now served as a makeshift combat repair chamber.
***********************************************************************************
At the mouth of an isolated cave a few miles from the ruins of Smythe's bunker, there was movement. Quiet, cautious movement, barely seen in the moonless night. Survival was paramount. He had lived this long, and would continue to do so.
And so would those with him. They would have their day.
They would have their revenge.
***********************************************************************************
The following morning, Ron awoke to find himself beneath a blanket of human flesh. Not wanting to sleep in their battlesuits, Delta Squad had simply stripped down and fallen asleep on the single bed in the cabin replica. The museum had long been shut down due to lack of funding and they doubted the robots would care even if they did see them in their birthday suits. Nudging the four girls awake, they dressed and headed back for the main lobby, where they found Shadowkat alone, as if she was standing guard.
"Good morning." she said. "That is the proper greeting, isn't it?"
"That's it," Shego said, making a futile attempt to partially even out her hair. "Where are the others?"
"Out on a patrol. Dinobot wanted to make sure Unicron didn't have any other surprises that might have tracked us here."
Ron sat down on a couch and stretched. "Seems like he's your leader."
"I guess you could say that."
"Something about your story last night has me thinking," Kim said. "You said this Matrix sent you here, but you're not sure why. From what you've told us so far, I don't think it's the type to do something without a reason."
"I do not doubt that. The Matrix has its reasons for everything it does. If we had access to Cybertron, I could potentially make contact with the Matrix via the Oracle computer, but even that would be a longshot."
"Why?" "The Oracle has only communed with a few who've been classified as having 'receptive Sparks' and it is never possible to tell who will have one. No pattern between the few who've spoken with the Oracle has ever been discerned."
Dinobot and Rhinox chose that moment to return. "No sign of any pursuit. This area's as dead as the fossils in this place." Rhinox headed for the basement. "I'm going to check the equipment and see if there's been any change in the readings. Even a slight Energon spike could be an indication of Unicron's activity."
"What 'equipment' is he talking about?" Shego asked.
Dinobot transformed and sat in a stone chair on display that would have seemed an oversized throne for a human, but was exactly sized for one of his stature. "The stasis pod was sent here coupled to a scanner device. It helped us find Unicron's first base and we are hoping its range is not too limited to help us find him again. It is safe to say that, if he has found a way to transfer his consciousness into a new body, he will not appear at the same location twice."
Kim nodded. "I'd tend to agree with you. It's not like we're dealing with Drakken...." Upon seeing the pained look on Shego's face, Kim promptly silenced herself. "Sorry."
"It's alright, Princess. It's just something I'm going to have to get used to. His name is going to come up a lot; there's no getting around it. I'll manage." She gave her red-haired lover a kiss on the forehead for emphasis.
***********************************************************************************
He had watched the two creatures as they inspected the caves. Fortunately, there were many small alcoves he and his group could hide in that the creatures could not reach, so they remained undetected. When they left, he followed. Leading his band onward, they observed the duo for several more hours, well past the dawn, until they entered a run-down structure. One way or the other, they knew, these two could lead them to that which they sought.
Wordlessly, they moved in.
***********************************************************************************
Rhinox's voice was clearly audible over Dinobot's comm circuit. "Heads up! I've got six unknowns moving in on the base - Energon readings are off the scale!"
Dinobot, Shadowkat and Delta Squad drew their weapons, Shadowkat's being a pair of metal cylinders that, when activated, produced terminating beams of energy - red in the left hand, blue in the right. They all tensed, their eyes on the doors and windows, watching and listening for any sounds that would give a hint as to where their attackers would come from. A moment later, Rhinox charged up the stairs, two massive machine guns clenched in his fists. “They're headed right for the front door. They're not even making an effort to disguise their movements.”
Dinobot grinned savagely. “Excellent. It shall make it all the easier to destroy them.”
The group watched, ready for action, as the massive oak door of the museum swung open. Dinobot leaped to attack, his sword drawn, and Kim let out a shriek of horror.
***********************************************************************************
James Possible looked as though he were about ready to faint. Understandable, considering that Dinobot's spinning sword blade had stopped barely two inches from his face. The next thing he knew, he and his group were being tackled and hugged by five very relived - and very familiar - humans.
"Kimmie! I should have known I'd find you here!"
Kim was on the verge of tears. "D-dad....we...we heard you were...."
James ran his hand through her hair. "Most of us were. Felix's chair got fried by some kind electromagnetic pulse. Larry tried to carry him out of the base, but they weren't fast enough. Wade was killed when the barracks were crushed and Viv didn't even make it out of the room we'd set up to coordinate the research." He closed his eyes, obviously thinking of their friend. "I saw it through one of the windows - she had the door handle in her grasp when the explosion hit." Kim's found herself fighting not to cry as she remembered the severed hand she'd seen earlier. "The rest died just as quickly. You mother, the boys and Ron's parents were all in the base's mess hall with me. We were the last to leave after the evening meal. That's the only reason we were able to get out." There was a long pause. "We never even saw what hit us. A few shadows; nothing more."
The survivors had, by this time, moved into the museum's lobby. Rhinox checked them over with his scanners, confirming them as the Energon presences he'd detected earlier. "Well, whatever hit that base, it was using Energon like it was going out of style. You six are drenched in it. It won't hurt you - the radiation is harmless to humans - but if anyone's monitoring for Energon signatures, you'll be like a beacon pointing to us. With the amounts you've soaked up, it could be days before it bleeds off."
He sighed. "And we've got another problem: If Unicron did this, and he's found a source of Energon in this area, he could use it to make a new body for himself....or to create an army. Either way, it's not good."
Jim and Tim's eyes went wide. "Did you say Unicron?" they asked together.
Rhinox nodded.
"We saw that name on the..."
"...computer terminal the day the base got..." "...trashed. We just thought it was a..."
"... program Smythe was running."
"It's not. Believe me, if it was, we wouldn't need to worry." With a heavy sigh, Rhinox related the story of their race. "We think that this Unicron is merely a counterpart to the one we are familiar with. This is, of course, entirely dependent on the fact that we detected no break in the barrier between our universe and yours. It's likely we'll never really know."
Jim and Tim whispered to one another, nodded and said that they would be back soon. Before anyone could ask any questions, they zipped past the small crowd and out the door.
In the minutes the boys were gone, Kim and Ron had managed to make their parents comfortable on the sofas in the lobby. The Stoppables were asleep in minutes, though Anne and James found that sleep was a luxury they could not, for the moment, attain. When Ron was out of earshot, Anne asked Kim, "Did you tell him?"
Kim shook her head. "I was about to when the call about the attack came in. I told Shego, but she's not saying anything. When this is all over, I'll tell everyone. But they need me here and I'm going to do what it is I do best - help those who need me."
Anne could do nothing but smile. "I know I can't stop you, Kim, but I do want you to be careful. It's not just yourself you have to worry about now." The two silenced their conversation when Ron returned, carrying a small load of snacks scavenged from the vending machines.
"These aren't much, but they're within the expiration dates. If we can combine these with the rations we have left, they should last a few days."
As the group ate their meager meal, setting some aside for Ron's parents, Jim and Tim returned carrying a large metal cube between them. As soon as he saw it, Rhinox reached down and snatched it from their grasp. "Where did you find this?"
"It was in the base. Smythe had it..."
"...hooked up to one of the computers."
A flood of memories came back to Delta Squad, including Drakken mentioning a component he wanted to remove from the smaller terminal. The five quickly gathered around Rhinox as he examined the cube. "The markings are Cybertronian. Ancient Cybertronian. I can't read much of it, but what I can make out says something about 'timeless evil sealed', 'chosen warrior' and 'light in the darkest hour'. That's about it."
"Don't need a history book to figure out the 'timeless evil' part." Shego said dryly.
Rhinox agreed. "The odd thing here, though, is that this thing feels hollow." He tapped it with one finger and an echo was heard. "But its weight suggests something solid. I would say that something might be in here, but without a way to open it, I can't be sure."
Dinobot growled. "Well, I'm sure that that will be of tremendous help when Unicron decides to make his move. We have stayed here too long as it is; we need to be on the move if we are to have any chance of vicory!"
"Cool your injectors, lizard," Shadowkat said, her soft Russian-like accent turning menacing for the first time. "There are ways other than fighting to survive a conflict."
"Oh; I beg your pardon. I suppose you would have us dig a hole in the ground and hope Unicron doesn't decide to see what's in it!" The raptor-bot snarled. "By Primus, why am I always allied with the cowardly rodents instead of the warriors?"
Shadowkat leaned in close, getting her face as close as she could to her reptilian comrade's. "There is nothing cowardly about taking precautions. There is however, something idiotic about charging blindly into a situation you know nothing about!" The two glared at one another for several long, tense moments, though Dinobot had to crane his neck down and stoop to be at eye level with her. It was at this point that everyone who witnessed the event would say for years to come that it was without a doubt the most shocking and unexpected thing they had ever seen.
The two machines suddenly lurched forward and their lips met in a kiss that lasted several seconds before the two pulled away and immediately turned their backs to one another.
Dinobot was the first to speak. "It appears that we need to run diagnostics...the motivators in our cranial structures seem to be....malfunctioning."
"Yes, yes. Absolutely." Shadowkat quickly agreed. "Diagnostics. Immediately." She quickly hurried for Rhinox's improvised laboratory in the basement, with Dinobot following her down the steps a few moments later.
There was a silence in the lobby that lasted nearly a full minute before Rhinox and the humans burst out laughing.
***********************************************************************************
It was two days before anything happened. Rhinox had sequestered himself in the basement, trying to open the strange cube, but to no avail. He was seriously considering using Dinobot's sword on it when the first explosion hit.
Setting the cube aside, Rhinox hefted his chainguns and stormed up the stairs. Dinobot and Shadowkat were already out the front door, weapons drawn, with Ron and the girls following close behind. Ahead of the two groups was a line of metallic-silver humanoids of varying sizes and shapes. Most had legs, but some had two sets of treads or a single wheel for mobility. There were some with wings on their backs and some with helicopter blades, those with cannons or projectile launchers replacing one or both arms and still others carrying various small arms and melee weapons.
In short, they were facing down an army.
As Rhinox charged out the door, the remaining humans in the museum staring wide-eyed at the imminent confrontation through the windows, a booming voice came over the mountain behind the army accompanied by a hulking shadow.
"I....am Unicron. I have been imprisoned for three hundred of your years. My essence locked away, I was sent across time and space, doomed to an eternity in the depths of the universe. A collision with one of your probes, launched a decade ago, was the catalyst for my awakening. In that moment, an energy surge from my prison opened a two portals - one took the probe and the other brought me here, where one of your own weakened my prison enough to allow me to escape. And now that I am free, your world will be the first to taste my wrath."
Staring up at the metallic monstrosity, only Shadowkat could utter a response. "We're all going to die."
***********************************************************************************
On Cybertron, the Matrix was in as much of an uproar as a silent entity could be. Amid the confusion and outrage from even the most serene, two conversed privately, almost conspiratorially.
Alpha Trion, how is it that we were so mistaken? We were certain that this Unicron was native to their universe, not ours.
Calm yourself, Optimus Primal. Even our knowledge is not infallible. If it were, we would not have to maintain such a vigil. We have sent our warriors; it is all we can do.
I only hope the young one can live up to her legacy.
As do we all.
***********************************************************************************
Ron stared not at the army gathered in front of them, but the figure that had created it. Aside from the two massive forearms that ended in pincers, what appeared to be no less than sixteen limbs sprouted from various points on its back, some thin and some thick, in symmetrical patterns. Other markings and the shapes of other body parts left no doubt that Unicron had formed this body for itself from the remains of Smythe's Spider-Slayer robots and, most likely, materials from the base. Its angular head was capped with a helmet-like attachment that itself had two long, curved horns protruding from the sides.
It was also clear to him that Unicron's army was what had attacked the base and killed their friends.
His hands clenched into fists, Ron tried to not let his anger get the best of him;he knew that if he lost his cool, not only would he die, but the girls would be endangered as well. Ignoring the throbbing in his right hand, which had become more persistent over the last few days, he motioned to the rest of Delta Squad to form up with him, Kim and Shego on his right, Bonnie and Yori on his left, as he explained a strategy Dinobot had suggested to him the day before.
"We let the Maximals lead the attack; they can obviously dish out more firepower than we can. We'll finish off the ones that don't go down in the first charge. Once the smaller ones are gone, we all focus on taking down Unicron."
Before anyone could say or do anything else, Unicron held out his hand and the army began to move. The Maximals ran ahead, Rhinox clearing the way with his chainguns. Dinobot and Shadowkat ran side by side, slicing limbs, heads and weapons off with their blades and the occasional blast from Dinobot's eye lasers.
"That's five for me, lizard; how many for you?"
"A warrior does not need to count - the sheer glory of battle should be more than enough!" A winged robot to his left fell victim to the battering blades of his shield, then he smirked. "Seven."
"Hah! A paltry difference - that oversized exoframe of yours will slow you down and tire you out long before I am done!"
"We'll see about that, prairie mouse! I come from a long, proud line of soldiers and I shall not disappoint my ancestors on the battlefield!"
"I'm sure they would appreciate that - considering how disappointing you were in the basement yesterday!"
Ahead of them, Rhinox sighed. It was going to be a long day.
Delta Squad followed close behind, picking up the stragglers. Early on, a large robot on tank treads had torn Ron's staff from his hands, snapping it into several pieces, leaving only Bonnie and Yori armed. Ron's energy attacks and Shego's plasma gave them a fighting chance, but Kim had only her battlesuit and her natural abilities. Ron saw this and tried to protect her as much as he could, but found it to be extremely difficult with the explosives and directed-energy weapons being hurled at them. His right hand throbbed even more than it had before, to the point where it crossed the threshold into pain, but he forced himself to ignore it, slamming that same fist through the metal skull of a robot with twin lasers on each arm.
Bonnie and Yori were handling themselves as well as they always did; side-by-side, each attacking, blocking or parrying where the other could not. No-one could quite figure out if the two were telepathic with one another or if it came from the fact that Yori had trained Bonnie so well that the two were that identical, but they also didn't argue with the results. A blade attack from the left; Bonnie parried and sliced off its arms at the wrist while Yori dispatched a wheeled robot taking aim at her brunette lover. The unfortunate one who charged them head-on took both of Bonnie's swords through his chest while Yori's fans separated head from shoulder. The machine teetered back and collapsed on one of its fellows, crushing it into the hard earth.
Shego, despite the danger, was enjoying herself. It was rare that she got to cut loose against so many foes in the first place, but she had another reason: She was taking her revenge. Unicron had taken Dr. Drakken from them, a man who was just beginning to see what life could yield for him. A man that they had begun to call ally, even friend. A man who had loved her, despite the way she treated him. These thoughts and a thousand more ran through her head, fueling her rage and her determination. Her hands aglow with plasma energy, she smashed her way through the seemingly-endless sea of machines, letting her anger take her completely. However, for all the added power it provided, it also gave her a sort of tunnel vision, only allowing her to focus on her next kill, and thus she did not see that Ron's ability to protect Kim as they fought was faltering. Nor did she see what happened a few moments later until it was too late.
A small robot, barely up to Ron's knee in height and unnoticed in the melee, shot between the legs of one of its larger brethren. It folded itself into almost a torpedo shape, tiny rockets built into its back end firing and propelling it towards its target.
The machine slammed full force into Kim's stomach, dropping her to the ground.
Clearing out the robots in their immediate reach, Ron and Shego knelt by Kim's side. Her rage still boiling over, Shego located the tiny missile drone, already moving in search of its next target, and grabbed it, twisting it apart with her bare hands and melting the halves with her plasma.
"KP," Ron asked, "are you alright?"
Kim was in tears. "I....I am...but....but...the ba....the ba...."
"KP, what are you talking about?"
Kim looked up to meet his gaze, tear-filled green eyes locked onto his. "The baby."
Ron's jaw went slack and he looked to Shego, who nodded. "She's pregnant." Then the emerald warrior closed her eyes. "Or, rather...she was."
The blond boy's expression went from shock to pain to anger in the space of a few moments. He stood, Kim and Shego rising with him. They had taken out less than half of the robot army and the Maximals were not very far ahead of them, but Ron couldn't see any of that. All he saw was the horned devil atop the mountain. The one who had taken his friends from him before....and now had taken his child.
"Unicron.....you.....you.....you BASTARD!" Ron's battle aura almost exploded into existence around him, burning a darker, more sinister-looking red color than it ever had before. He leaped into the air and, propelled by his energy, kept going. His path took him over the battle, up the mountain and straight towards his target.
The behemoth stared at him through cold, mechanical eyes. "Who are you to challenge me so, human?"
"Ron Stoppable of Earth." Ron pointed at Unicron. "You've taken your last innocent life, Unicron! Nobody hurts my family like that and expects to live!"
Unicron chuckled. "Then it pleases me to be the first."
If there was anything in existence that could have deepened Ron's rage, that was it. With a loud roar, he flew headlong at the monster who, in many different ways, had destroyed more lives than Ron cared to think about. He slammed into one of Unicron's eyes, but whatever material hey were fashioned from was unaffected by his attack. Laughing, Unicron grasped the dazed human in his hand and flung him to the ground; an action which, due to the force with which Ron was thrown and the energy he was channeling, resulted in a small explosion.
Picking himself up out of the crater, Ron was seemingly unhurt, unlike the dozen or so drones that had been in the area moments before. Shego and Kim quickly ran to his side. "Ron, what were you thinking? You can't take him on by yourself!" Kim yelled, shaking his shoulders.
"I have to destroy him...for what he did. No mercy. No forgiveness. No holding back."
It was the first time Kim had ever slapped him.
"Ron Stoppable, you listen to me! Getting yourself killed isn't going to bring back Drakken or our friends or our baby! As painful as this is, there will be another chance for us to have a child, but not if you die in some half-assed revenge scheme!" A moment passed, then she kissed him tenderly. "We have to do this together; I knew the risks coming out here. I hoped I wouldn't have to face it, but here it is. We have to bring this guy down and it's going to take all of us."
Shego nodded. "Listen to her, Ron. If she can go through this and keep calm, then you can. Any of us can." By this time, Bonnie and Yori were running towards them, leaving piles of scarp metal in their wake. "You're the leader, loverboy; what do we do?"
Ron was silent for several long moments. He looked at the four girls kneeling in front of him, their loving faces marred by dirt, oil and even small amounts of blood. His mind flashed to all they had been through since he had met each one, knew why he loved them and they him, and knew when he must do.
"We fight. As one. We end it here and now. End the pain. End the suffering." His right hand began to glow bright red as the throbbing returned; it was almost as though it was burning. He stood, the girls flanking him on either side as before. The Maximals were doing more than a satisfactory job of occupying the remaining army. Despite their bickering, Dinobot and Shadowkat were a ferocious pair when it came to combat and what they missed, Rhinox didn't.
Kim clasped Ron's right hand in her left, feeling its warmth. "We've not had your training, Ron, but we've seen some of what Monkey Fist taught you on the security recordings. I think we can, at least, help you - whatever you decide to do. Your heart brought us all together and has kept us going this far. We'll follow you to the end, whatever that may be." Again, she kissed him tenderly.
"Thanks, KP." He sighed. "It looks like this is it." The four girls nodded; they had all joined hands and stood together.
"Foolish humans. Together or apart, you shall fall before me, as all soon will." Unicron's booming voice only fueled their determination. And with that determination came power.
Like Ron's, the right hands of the four girls began to glow brightly and throb violently. The accompanying pain was nearly unbearable, but they had given each other strength before ad they did so now. Ron was the first to speak.
"This ends here and now, Unicron! No more innocent lives destroyed! No more of your evil infecting this world!" He raised his right hand as a fist, showing the back of it to Unicron. The glow and the throbbing intensified to the point where he wasn't sure he could handle it.....and then nothing. No sensation. No pain. It was replaced by raw power and a symbol on the back of his glove. A proud-looking king with two swords crossed beneath him inside the outline of a heart. Even though Ron couldn't see it, he somehow knew it was there. "So says....The King of Hearts!"
The girls looked at their own hands, hardly surprised to see similar symbols on them. For Kim, it was a noble queen inside a spade. Shego bore the crest of a jester's face. Yori's was a stylized "A" inside a three-leaved clover symbol, while Bonnie's was of a prince surrounded by a diamond. Their symbols, and their power, resonated with Ron's. Whether they could add much, if any at all, to what he could do was inconsequential. They were together. They would live as one or die as one. It was as simple as that.
Ron's battle aura flared up one last time. "These hands of ours..."
Kim continued. ".....glow with an awesome power!"
"Their burning grip..." Shego added.
Bonie chimed in. "...commands us..."
"....to grasp happiness!" Yori finished.
Ron clasped his hands at his side, filling the space between his palms with all of his energy. His attack, his final attack, was ready. But unlike he last time, he was not alone. The hearts of the people he loved more than anything else in the world were with him now and his power was a thousandfold stronger than it had been. "Take this - our love, our anger, and all of our sorrows!" His aura fanned out, encompassing the girls in its glow. Again, they spoke together, each feeding off of the one before it and into the one after.
"Se..."
"....ki... "...ha..."
"...Love..."
"...Love..."
"....TENKYOKEN!" They cried out as one, pouring every ounce of energy they possessed into the deadly energy wave. The beam pierced Unicron's chest, blowing it apart and starting a chain reaction. The behemoth roared in anger as rest of his torso and his limbs slowly disintegrated.
"How...is this possible...? I am....the ultimate being....." These were the last words ever spoken by Unicron. Raw, unchanneled energy coursed though his metal skull, ripping it apart molecule by molecule, as though the collective wills of Ron and the girls were forcing his remains to cease to exist.
A moment later, it was all over. What few machines remained quietly shut down, their source of power and driving intelligence. Realizing that the day was won, the Maximals let out a beastial roar of victory. Shadowkat looked at Dinobot, smiling, and reached up on her toes to give him a lingering kiss on the lips. "You earned that one, my brave warrior."
The ex-Predacon smirked. "Indeed I did, but I fear you have honored me too much. I may have to...'return' some of my reward later."
Again, Rhinox just sighed.
***********************************************************************************
Several days later, Ron and the girls were back home. Much to the relief of everyone, every test that her mother ran revealed that Kim had not lost her baby; the battlesuit had done its job and more. She had spent most of her time resting in the large bed, nestled in the warm embrace of her lovers.
One day, as they sat on the large couch watching a movie, Anakin and Hikari quietly feeding from their mothers, Anne and James knocked on the door. James blushed a little when he saw the topless women nursing the babies, but regained his composure after a quick elbow-jab from his wife.
"We opened the cube," he finally said.
Ron's eyes widened. "What as inside?"
"The last thing even the Maximals expected. Rhinox called it 'The Matrix of Leadership'. According to him, it all makes sense. The Matrix was the only thing that could stop Unicron's power, since it was supposedly a direct line into the power of Primus. It kept him dormant until the collision." He paused. "And we know now what it collided with."
Everyone was silent as he and Anne sat down. "In November of 1999, NASA launched a deep-space probe. It was designed to gather data on the expanses between star systems as well as possibly scout out worlds for colonization. It was also programmed with specific messages to send and actions to perform should it encounter an intelligent alien civilization. They called it Voyager 6."
Ron leaned back on the couch. "So that's it, then."
"Not quite. They lost track of the probe just over three years ago. Telemetry data indicated a fast-moving object in its path and the last message indicated that it was altering course to avoid it. After that, nothing. We think now that it was the cube. What little data we got from Smythe's lab indicates that around the same time Voyager 6 was lost, Smythe found the cube. We don't know for sure, but we think the collision caused some sort of reaction between both Unicron's essence and the Matrix and a hole was ripped in the fabric of space - possibly two. The cube was sent here and the probe somewhere else. But the impact, according to what we heard at the mountain, was enough to weaken the cube and begin to awaken Unicron. The rest we know all too well."
"What about Voyager 6, Dad? Where is it now?"
"We don't know, Kimmie. Given that the impact most likely wouldn't have damaged its communications systems and that it had more than enough range to stay in direct contact for several more years, it may have fallen victim to a spatial rip the same as Unicron did. Maybe we'll know, someday, but I wouldn't bet on it."
These was a long silence. The children had fallen asleep and Bonnie and Yori left momentarily to put them in their cribs before returning, still shirtless. Taking a deep breath, Ron asked "Have you found a way to send the Maximals home?"
James shook his head. "Rhinox is working on it, but says it could take months, even years. He's not sure how they were sent here in the first place, much less how to get back. With our help he could build a ship easily enough, but they have no place to go once it's built."
Kim smiled. "Well, if they're going to be here that long, we can invite them to the wedding. The rest of our friends are going to be there; it only makes sense that they come along."
James smiled. "I'll be glad to pass along the message. And I'm sure that Rhinox will be glad to get Dinobot and Shadowkat outside for a change."
Kim raised an eyebrow. "Is there a problem? Are they fighting again?"
"No," her father replied nervously. "But sometimes it sounds like it. They keep the lab techs up all night and Rhinox is at his wit's end."
After a short bout of laughter, Ron asked, "Okay, Mr. Dr. P; what else?"
"Wh-what do you mean, 'what else'?"
"You could have told us all of this over the phone; you didn't have to come all the way down here. Spill."
"Well....it was Anne's idea...and...um....well..."
Sighing, Anne interrupted. "I thought that we could take Anakin and Hikari home with us for a couple of days. You guys pretty much jumped right back into 'parenthood mode' when you got back and I'm sure you haven't had any.....'time alone' since, am I right?" Blushing a little, Kim nodded. "Well, then; you could definitely use a break, I'd say. And the Rockwallers have gotten all the babysitting duty so far; these kids are as much our family as they are theirs and we'd like to have them around for a little while."
After a few more minutes of discussion, the twins and their diaper bags were being carried to the Possible minivan by Kim's parents and Kim herself was carrying an extra bag with changes of clothes for the two. "It's been so long since I cared for a baby; I hope I'm not rusty. After all, I need the practice." Anne said.
Kim stared wide-eyed at her mother. "You mean....you're....? But...but but...."
Anne glared at her. "Kimmy, I love you, but if you give me the 'you're too old' line, I will spank you in front of everyone here - not that that would be much of a punishment for you, I imagine. I'm not complaining and neither is your father. We decided not long after you moved out that we wanted to have one last child and m,y test showed up positive a few weeks ago. I'll give birth not long after you, I expect." Kim was still staring. "Kim, I'll be fine. It's not like it's my first pregnancy, you know." She kissed her daughter on the forehead. "Now you kids enjoy your weekend; we'll be back on Monday."
***********************************************************************************
When her parents pulled out of the driveway, Kim went back into the living room, shut the door and divested herself of the tiny lime-green camisole and matching miniskirt she'd been wearing, letting her lovers gaze upon her nude body. There was no visible sign of pregnancy yet, but that would come soon enough, she knew.
The others had wasted no time. Shego was already naked, spread-eagle on the floor, with Bonnie between her legs. The brunette still had her cutoff shorts on, as did Yori, who had divested Ron of his clothing and was busy trying to deep-throat his cock.
Kim lightly nudged Bonnie with her foot to get her attention and when her old rival stood up she kissed her deeply, tasting Shego's juices. She yanked the girl's shorts down and fingered her moistened mound, drawing a deep moan from her. Kim turned Bonnie back towards Shego and pushed the two together so that their legs intertwined and their nether regions met. Slowly, they began to grind against each other while Kim, now on her knees, licked and rubbed the places where they joined. She ignored the itch between her own legs - for now - and focused on pleasing the two other girls.
Yori, meanwhile, had gotten Ron completely hard and had successfully taken him into her throat. with each motion of her head, her nose bumped into his crotch. Kim and Shego had, by now, become naturals at this treatment, but Yori's mouth and throat were quite a bit smaller than theirs and the sensations Ron was experiencing were blowing his mind.
Sensing that he was about to cum, the Japanese girl pulled him from her mouth and bent over the couch, spreading her legs apart. Ron moved in behind her, sliding into her tight orifice. Given her earlier treatment, he didn't last long. In less than two minutes he was spraying his load into her depths. He started to apologize for letting go so soon, but Yori only smiled at him. "It is alright; I intended for that to happen, Ron-chan, because I wanted to do this." She walked over to the other girls and sat down on Bonnie's face. The brunette wasted no time in cleaning Ron's load from her Asian girlfriend's snatch.
Kim and Shego untangled themselves from the girls and wlake dover to Ron. While Shego kissed him passionately, Kim whispered to both of them. "Shower. Now." Needing no further prodding, her lovers followed her into the bathroom.
Inside, Kim kicked the door shut. It was about to get steamy in the small room and Kim liked it that way. She swatted Shego's ass as the green woman stepped into the spacious, three-head shower stall that occupied more than half of the room's spacial allotment, then drew the curtains behind them as Ron entered.
Shego cranked all three heads on, angling them to hit the lovers with the maximum amount of spray. Kim hissed a little as the near-scalding water hit her, already starting to turn her skin red, and pulled Ron to her. "Up against the wall, Ron; take me like a woman."
"I don't wanna be too rough Kim...."
"I'll be fine; I already consulted with Mom and the OB/GYNs about this. Until I start getting bigger around the middle, it's business as usual. And afterwards, well....there are....other ways." She smirked. "Now....take me."
Not wanting to disappoint his wife-to-be, Ron lifted her so that she could wrap her arms and legs around him. Positioning himself carefully, he drove into her as the same instant her back touched the cold tile wall of the shower. Kim orgasmed instantly. She hung onto Ron tightly, Kissing him frantically as his shaft plunged her depths over and over again.
Shego positioned herself behind Ron, pressing her amble busoms into his back and grinding her clit against his taut, firm ass. With her hands she reached around and played with Kim's clit as well as Ron's balls. They locked together like this, with Kim occasionally breaking her kiss with Ron to reach behind him and lock lips with her girlfriend, for a few minutes until Kim let loose again. Her inner walls clamped down on Ron as she came. The tightness, coupled with Shego's never ceasing fondling of his sack, caused Ron to erupt. His second load of the day splashed into her womb, a sensation both of them had been missing for some time. The two relaxed and Kim settled down to sit on the floor, catching her breath.
Not one to be left out, Shego knelt between Kim's legs and started eating Ron's cum from her. Meanwhile, she was spreading her cheeks for Ron, making no secret of what she wanted. Thanking the heavens above for his over-developed stamina, Ron kneeled behind Shego and slid into her tight back door. He varied his speed, sometimes working at the fast, furious pace she preferred, other times slowing down to almost a crawl to drive her crazy.
It had the desired effect. Though she never ceased her ministrations to Kim, making the redhead orgasm three more times in the space of a couple of minutes, Shego herself was continually being brought to the brink of pleasure only to be yanked back. After several times of not being allowed to cum, the raven-haired warrior had had enough. She started driving herself back onto his member with as much force as she could muster. It made it difficult to keep eating Kim out, but she was desperate at this point.
Kim didn't mind the change in pace; she was already well satisfied for the evening. She took a little bit of pleasure, but only a little, in seeing Shego so frustrated. She ran her hands through the woman's hair lovingly; she could not have asked for two better lovers to spend her life with. Even if Bonnie and Yori should decide to move to another home and raise their children alone, she would still have these two. That was more than enough.
Sensing his own end was near, Ron stopped Shego's movements and drive himself into her as fast and as deep as he could. He drove her to the edge and beyond in moments doing this; she ended up screaming into Kim's pussy. Coupled with the treatment she'd been receiving, it pushed Kim herself to orgasm one last time. Ron spilled his third and final load into Shego's backside.
The three collapsed onto the floor, letting the water cascade over them and rinse the sweat and other fluids from their bodies. Shego craned her head slightly to kiss first one, then the other, and utter a nearly-silent "Thank you,". Her lovers were about to respond, but instead of words there was only a scream.
The hot water had run out just a little too suddenly.

After drying off, Ron and his girlfriends left the bathroom, their nude bodies instantly chilled by the much-cooler air prevailing in the rest of the house. They found no race of Bonnie and Yori on the living room floor where they had left them, but soon found them cuddled together in the large bed. The trio slipped in next to them, sliding Ron in between both pairs of females as had become their custom.
Shego started her soft snoring almost immediately. Just before drifting off to sleep herself, Kim whispered in his ear. "Two weeks. That's all it going to be now."
"I know. I can't wait, KP. I've known you all of my life, and now you're going to be my bride." He patted her stomach. "And the mother of my children. Well, some of them, anyway; I think Shego stopped taking the pill. Who knows where this could lead?"
"Nowhere but happiness, Ron; that's all that's left for us. We've been through everything else; it's time for us to enjoy life."
They kissed one final time before sleep claimed them.
To Be Concluded

Done. Finally. I have kept you guys waiting for this for far too long, and as I said before, I apologize. I only have the wedding to write now, and I hope it meets everyone's expectations. Until then, goodnight and good luck.
