Drakken was knocked unconscious by the blast. The test cell fragged, and the nanocrystal landed on the benchtop…
Arcs of energy writhed across the lair as the grid was tapped…
An aura bathed Drakken healing his wounds… as he was scanned for data…! The crystal had found something of note for later…
The crystal converted energy to mass and grew…
It tagged Drakken, popped off the bench and landed on the lair’s cool stone floor…
A roach… came near…
It was consumed.
The crystal… now a seed… rolled through the lair seeking a source of nourishment…
For some ‘reason’ it found consuming beings such as Drakken as abhorrent.
It rolled into the pantry and began to… ‘eat’.
Finally the mass now weighing in at 300 lbs, bored a hole down into the living rock…
Sometime later…
Drakken woke.
His lab was a shambles.
‘Oh… doodles. Shego’s gonna kill me.’ Drakken placed a call to ‘Lairs R Us’ and got ready to move.
