Chapter 10: Unexpected alliances
…Orion…
…Orion…
“Orion Pax!”
The mech turned to face the pink femme standing next to him, with an amused expression on her pretty faceplates. She had her arms folded in front of her body and was grinning at him, a wicked glint in her optics. The blue and red mech blushes and looked guilty to be caught daydreaming when he was supposed to work.
“Where were you, Orion? The second moon?” Taunted the little pink Femme with a laught, nuddging him in the side.
No, he was looking at those mech passing by in the sky above the warehouse. He was fascinated by those new mech that had the capability of flight, but until now, he had never seen one up close. All he knew was that they were calling themselves Decepticons and that their Leader was a mech called Megatron… But instead of answering the question, he asked one himself.
“Did you see this mech whom just fly above here, Ariel? Didn’t you find it appealing to be able to fly like the Seekers can? I wish I could meet this Megatron and ask him some questions…”
Ariel stayed silent and thoughtful for a breem or two, looking surrised by this question. She had never thought Orion to admire those Decepticons… This megatron character… like that. The story SHE heard about those new mechs weren’t pretty. Apparently, they were attacking others locations and cities all over Cybertron. Looking for resources and energy, apparently, and snatching all the energon they could. She shook her head and pinched her lips until they were a thing line, and then took her friend’s shoulder firmly.
“You shouldn’t, Orion... I heard some very disturbing stories about this Megatron. He’s not as great as you think. I heard about attacks in other cities and raids of energy sources and energon warehouses like ours.” She squeezes his shoulder in a frinendly manner, and smiled to him encouragingly.
“Those are only rumors, Ariel. You have no proof that they are or aren’t true, and until I got proofs to show me, if you don’t mind, I’ll keep daydreaming about anything I want, hum?...”
Ariel sigh in defeat and shrugged her slim shoulders before looking up at the sky as the silver mech flew by again, apparently returning to his previous location. She didn’t like these rumors and this mech looked creepy in her optics but she couldn,t do anything about the way Orion was thinking. She kept looking until he had disappeared from view, and then goes back inside, following Orion.
……
Later, the blue and red mech when he heard a loud ‘thud’ outside the warehouse. Intrigued, he got out and then froze. He was there! This mech he had been daydreaming about earlier! Megatron, wasn’t it? Yes that was it! That was him, and he was dumbstruck to see him that close. And Primus, he was handsome! Sharp silver platings, large and tall body, angular but appealing features… And he was smiling down at him, perfect dental plates as with as it could be!
Orion gulped a little and felt his cheeks blushing slightly as he looked up at the mech, unable to find his voice back. Ariel got out behind him, and stopped dead in her track fir a klick when she saw the mech in front of Orion. Red optics left the still frozen frame of the small dock worker to lock on the little pink femme. His smile seemed to broaden even more if possible, and a fire had briefly lit into his optics.
Finally, Orion seemed to get out of his spell and addressed the newcomer with a controlled and curious tune.
“Welcome, Sir! Is this something you want?”
The silver mech’s attention got back to Orion and he smiled widely at him, and for a disturbing moment, he looked like a predator ready to attack. Unconsciously, Orion had taken a step backward.
“As a matter of fact, yes I do.” He motioned at the warehouse behind them and asked, calmly and in a businesslike way. “What did you store into those? Energon?”
“Yes, we only have energon storages those days. Sometimes, we also have other type of cargos, but not today. Why, do you wish to use out warehouses for storage?”
Orion was genuinely surprised. But yet again, if the mech wanted some storage space, he’ll have to go somewhere else because they didn’t have any space left there. He smiled at the tall silver mech and shrugged in an apologetic way.
“But if you’re looking for some storage space, I’m afraid we don’t have any for now. You’ll have to go see somewhere else. Did you have something to store, sir? I can lead you to another set of warehouse not too far from here…”
The mech chuckled and put a hand on his shoulder, looking amused. Maybe by Orion’s shyness and probably his comment too… that made him blushes even more. Beside him, Ariel snorted, sounding annoyed.
“That won’t be necessary, young mech. Thanks for the tip.”
And with that, he was gone, but not without insisting to take a look inside the warehouse before… only to come back not even a cycle later with what looks like an army! An army of drones… They killed his best friend, they killed Ariel, and when he tried to help them and defend his friends, Megatron, the same mech that he had looked up in awe not long ago, fired at him in the chest…
When eh was down, smoke rising from his torn chest plates, the mech kneeled beside him and…
...Optimus!...
…Optimus!...
“Optimus! Wake up!”
A sharp shake on his shoulder plates finally brought Optimus Prime out of recharge, the last images of the dream fading away in his memory core. Powering his optics up with a little whine, feeling weak and pained all over after almost a week of trying to survive on that accursed planet, Optimus’s optics focused on the first thing he saw. Sharp faceplates leaning above him, a concerned and worried expression on his usually hard features, Megatron was looking down at him. After a week of harsh living condition, the usually silver paint was smeared with dirt and other organic matters, making it dull and brownish with untellable things. But nonetheless, the red optics were as hard and sharp as ever.
It needed more than a mere organic planet, as wild as it may be, to take down the Mighty Megatron! Optimus chuckled at that thought and that made Megatron’s optics narrows in curiosity as to why the Autobot Leader was laughing. But the chuckle died quickly, Optimus’s energy level too low to be wasted in such a meaningless activity. Now, all his remainings energy reserves were directed to his sparklings and the growing protoforms, leaving the once strong and proud Autobot Leader as weak as a sparkling himself.
“What were you laughing at?” Asked the Decepticon Leader as he helped his mate to sit more comfortably against the rocky wall of the cave.
“Nothing… I was just thinking, that’s all…”
Optimus let out a pitiful whimper as a wave of pain washed through his chest and upper abdomen. The little ones were restless… And at that rate, if they couldn’t find a suitable energy source shortly, an early delivery was to expect. The protoforms had been growing quicker, preparing for that eventuality… And seeing the level of pain he was experimenting, that event may occur sooner than expected.
Worried, because he obviously didn’t wanted to be forced to help his mate give birth to the twin sparklings alone, without the help of a skilled medic, Megatron placed a hand on the swollen chest and upper abdomen to feel if it was indeed time. Opening the bond to his mate and unborn sparklings, he could feel the restlessness of the infants and the pain and weakness of the Autobot. It wasn,t time yet, thanks Primus, but if they weren’t found in the next three or four days, then it’ll be too late and the little ones would be delivered, whether he liked it or not.
Shighing deeply in annoyance and concern, Megatron got up and paced restlessly. Optimus’s optics followed him with a worry mirroring his own.
“They’ll find us. Something tells me than we won’t be rotting here much longer, Megatron.”
Meatron stopped in front of Optimus and faced him, briefly off-lining his optics, looking more worried than he had even thought. Worried for his mate and sparklings more than himself, though, which was amazing the Autobot Leader greatly. Megatron feeling concern and worry for anyone else than himself… that was a new! And that was oddly warming and nice, knowing he wasn’t going to be left to fetch for himself in his dire state.
“Ha!... How do you know that? For all we know, we may be forced to stay here for a vorn or two before someone find us! You don’t know the Decepticons that well, Optimus, unlike me… They won’t waste precious energy searching for a single mech, was him their leader! Beside, after Starscream’s show, I don,t think they’ll even want to find me… They’ll more likely brand me as weak and as a traitor, you see!”
“Megatron.” Optimus interrupted his rambling with calm, commanding tune.
“What!?”
“You’re rambling.”
Megatron glared at him for a moment before sighing deeply and bowing his helm in defeat. He then sat up beside his bondmate and companion of misfortune and casually wraps an arm around his frame, as if to arrange him more comfortably. He stayed silent for a long moment, deep in thought, and after a moment, he felt that Optimus had yet again fallen into a troubled recharge. When his mate was awake, he tries to sound confident and strong, but as soon as he’s alone with himself as Optimus recharged, he let the façade fall. The real depth of his concern, his worry and his fear now showed on his faceplates and he wrapped both arms around his offline bondmate, hugging him as close as he could.
His optics fell on the pitifully small amount of energon that he had found near the place they had been dumped by Starscream almost a week ago, and he clenched his dentals. There was all Starscream let them beth to survive… Not even enough to last a week… But Megatron had been clever enough to severely ration them and they still had reserves but… In two days at best, there would be no more energon and then… It’ll be a matter of days, maybe a week, before their energy reserves were completely depleted and sent them into a permanent stasis.
And he may not even last that long, seeing that he gave Optimus almost every drops of the energon to sustain the growing sparklings inside of him. The Autobot Leader hadn’t even realized what Megatron was doing, because if he had, he may try to persuade him to refuel more. And he couldn’t comply because the carrying mech needed energy way more than himself. And besides, Megatron had survived I smaller rations at times. He would be fine… hopefully…
Unconsciously, as he was thinking about their current situation, his dark hand had danced and traced the contours and seams of his bondmate’s chestplates and upper abdomen, feeling the growing sparklings and protoforms inside.
“You’ll be fines, my sons… I promise you…” He whispered softly as he leaned down and lightly kissed the spot just above the spark chamber of his mate. “I’ll get us out of that mess… Somehow, I’ll get us out, and I’ll make Starscream pay for his treason…”
He hopes that his words may not become his epitaph…
oOo
***Cybertron, seven days earlier***
Darkmount
Shockwave hadn’t expected the Space Bridge to activate without warning so, when the panels and controls came to life unexpectedly, the purple mech readied himself to an enemy arrival, lifting his canon arm and pointing it strait to the elevator-like cabin’s doors.
He was ready to fire as soon as the door’ll open...
There was a flash of light, a buzzing sound, and then, with a surprised gasp, the purple gun-former lowered his weapon.
“Soundwave. What is the purpose of this visit? There was no shipment scheduled since next week.”
His bondmate steps out of the Space Bridge, closely followed by six other mechs. Skywarp and thundercracker, Hook, Motormaster… But the two remainings prompted Shockwave to lift his weapon again and aim it at the new arrivals. They were Autobots! Prowl and Ironhide, if he remembered well… What the Pit was going on!? They were obviously following the Decepticons willingly… The Guardian was confused and puzzled. Soudwave quickly blocked the purple transformer’s line of fire and spoke calmly yet firmly.
“Hold your fire! Autobots: not a threat. They are here willingly. They are not to be harmed.”
Shockwave’s single optic’s narrowed I his bondmate’s direction before shifting to the two Autobots quietly waitings behind the blue mech. slowly, he lowered his weapon.
“Explain this, Soundwave! Why is there Autobots with you?”
Soundwave stopped in front of Shockwave and spoke in his monotone voice. But the tune wasn,t important, that was the informations the mech was carrying that made the Guardian of Cybertron stiffens and clenched his fist.
“Purpose of visit: seeking help to find Megatron and defeat the usurper, Starscream. Starscream: take Leadership of the Decepticons after capture and imprisonement of Megatron and Autobot Leader Optimus Prime.”
Shockwave was… well… shocked! Starscream had managed to capture and imprisoned both Megatron and Optimus Prime? How is it possible? And for starters, why did he have optimus Prime along with Megatron? There was much more to know than what Soundwave had already told him… And why in Primus was Soundwave here with those other Decepticons? What the Pit happened to Earth base?!?
“What?! If this is true, then why are you here, Soundwave? You should be on Earth, searching for Megatron, and not there on Cybertron! And besides, this still don’t explain the Autobot’s presence here…”
“Megatron: not on Earth anymore. Starscream stranded him in another planet with Optimus Prime. Statement: we need a ship to get to them. Autobots: wanted to find and rescue Prime. We needed reinforcement; they were willing to help as long as Optimus prime’s given back to them when found.”
For a long moment, Shockwave didn’t say or do anything. He was processing the information he was just given, and there was a lot of it to take in. Soundwave waited patiently for him to react and didn’t move from his spot. The purple Decepticon shifted his gaze from mech to mech, apparently analizing them and the situation they were in, before settling again on the two nervous, uneasy Autobots. After what must seemed like hours to the two Bots, Shockwave’s optic returned to his bondmate and he spoke again, in a commanding tune he reraly uses.
“Alright, then, if what you told me is indeed the truth, we need to plan our strategy carefully. Starscream may be an egotistical megalomaniac, but he’s not an idiot. By the time we got back to Earth with our Leaders, he’ll have reinforced his position and defenses accordingly.” He motioned to the group to follow him, and they fell in steps behind him as he exited the control room. “Follow me. We have much to discuss.”
Shockwave lead tem out of the room and down the hallway to what looks like a conference room, and then every mech took a seat. The two Autobots, still uneasy, seated at on end of the table, opposites to the Decepticons, and waited. Prowl was looking around intently, making notes of everything he was seeing, as Ironhide only sat there and glared at everyone in the room. He was obviously not happy about the situation and was barely coping with it.
At the other end of the table sat Shockwave and Soundwave took the seat next to his mate. Prowl locked his optics on the large purple mech as he spoke again.
“First of all, we need to find and retrieve Lord Megatron as soon as possible. How long has it been since he was captured and abandoned, Soundwave?”
The navy blue mech answered immediately, without a trace of hesitation but with wath could be interpreted as anger towards the treacherous Seeker.
“Four days since capture, two since abandonment. Hypothesis: Starscream is due to return today, Captives must be in a two-day range location from Earth.”
Prowl, who had kept silent since he got there, spoke out loud, surprising all the Decepticons in the room. Even Soundwave turned to face him as he talked in a clam and collected tune. He was as pissed for Prime’s capture as the Cons were for Megatron’s, and he wasn’t about to be let in the dirt and follow blindly. He was about to voice his opinion on behalf of all the Autobots, like it is his right as a temporary ally.
“As much as I agree with you, I’m a little reluctant about letting you alone deal with the search and rescue operation. We are as eager to get our Leader back as you are yours, and honestly, I don’t trust your scientific efficiency for this task.”
Almost all of the mechs glared at the Autobot SIC as he said this, not really liking the fact than he had just loathed their capability to find the missing Leaders. But Prowl had another reason entirely for that, besides the sheer joy to piss off some Cons: Prime’s health. In his current state, the Autobot leader couldn’t hope to survive a long time on a desolated planet or moon…
“I think you forgot to mention something, Soundwave, than Shockwave here may be very interested to know. Since every mech on Earth are now aware of that fact, it won,t cost us much to inform him of each and EVERY variables of the problem.” The tactician then turned to face the single-optic mech, who looked a little puzzled. “Prime’s carrying Megatron’s sparklings and he’s due to deliver in two or three weeks top.”
Prowl couldn’t help it but snicker at the surprised gasp that escaped the usually collected and logical mech. If he had a face, Shockwave must had gaped in awe and had wide optics by now. After a short moment, though, he regained his cool, but when he spoke, he sounded very annoyed and irritated beyond words.
“Well, that changes some things indeed. The time we are now allowed to find the missing Leaders is cut short, apparently. And it may not be two or three weeks we have, Autobot, but one at best. You see, I doubt Starscream’ll provide his enemies with anything but scraps to survive on whatever location he dumped them. And without proper refueling, the lack of energy will soon force Prime’s body into an early delivery. It’s a 95% probability. Which means…”
Prowl, his optics hardened and worried, interrupted him, at the general surprise. It wasn’t like him to do such, but yet again, the entre situation was far from normal…
“Wich means we don’t have ANY TIME to waste in useless blabbering! May I remind you guys that it was YOU that comes to US for help? So I kindly suggest that we got to work and stop stalling! Any objections? No? Alright, then! What are our options?”
Form one of the sides of the table, Skywarp chuckled lowly and whispered into his bondmate’s audios, in an amused and impressed tune.
“Well, looks like old Prowl aren’t as cols as he let everybody know…”
TC only smiled a little and nodded, but he prompted his mate to stay quiet. The following days will prove very amusing…
oOo
After maybe an hour, the Autobots and Decepticons had managed to soothe their tempers and at last got a plan up. But before that’ shockwave ask for a complete background of the current situation. After Prime’s kidnapping, he hadn’t received any news from Megatron either. What he learned was that, after Starscream had captured both leader and made his little show for the benefit of both factions, a dissension raised in the Decepticons ranks.
Even if Starscream wasn’t a very popular mech amongst his own kind, the fact than Megatron was now BONDED to his worst enemy, who was even CARRYING HIS SPARKLINGS, had planted a huge doubt in the troops’ CPU. What if Megatron couldn’t fight him anymore? Is he still fitted as a Leader, knowing he can’t even hit the opposite’s faction’s Leader and therefore harm or kill him without endangering himself? In the end, a schism had appeared within of the Decepticon’s ranks and some had started to think that Starscream was indeed right, and than Megatron wasn’t fit anymore to lead them to victory.
And therefore, a faction of Megatron’s Loyalists had risen and it was them who had sought the Autobot’s help in finding and reinstalling Megatron in his entitled position. Knowing he was most probably stranded with Optimus Prime in some planet or moon, it was the best course of action. The success of this mission was enhanced exponentially by the Autobot’s collaboration, since they were searching for Prime as well as for Megatron, because of that fact.
Finding one means finding both.
So, after Shockwave was informed of the entire situation on Earth, in both the Decepticons and Autobot’s ranks, Prowl suggest that he could order their scientists, Perceptor, and Wheeljack, to work along with Shockwave to try and locate the lost mechs. Ratchet, knowing quite well Optimus state and the healing and care he would need when they find him back, insisted on accompanying them, and going with them when they got to find Optimus and Megatron. That was approved, and soon, when said mech had been sent via the Space Bridge, the search had begun. At least, they only had to search the planets and moons in a two-day range from Earth, but because the Leader’s locator had obviously been removed, it was proving difficult. Like searching a needle in a fern ball…
And time was running out quickly.
It was the sixth day after the beginning of the search than the search tem found a clue at least. There was faint traces of Cybertronian energy on one of ^Proxima Centauri’s planet. This was a jungle-like, wet and hot, organic planet. Not the kind of planet that could sustain Cybertronian’s lifeforms very well… It could prove damaging to one’s circuits after a time… Even if this trace was faint and almost tiny, his approximate age was fitting the time when the leader’s were stranded by Starscream.
It took a day to get there, and another day to find the place Megatron and Optimus Prime were hiding to shield themselves from the dire conditions. It was a cave, hidden by dense vegetation and dry enough to be safe. It was also cooler because it was underground and had a running stream inside of its main tunnel.
When the rescue party, composed by Ratchet, Prowl, Soundwave and TC, entered the cave, they were greeted by an odd sound and an odder sight…
oOo
***unknown planet, earlier***
Optimus awoken with a start.
Startled out of recharge by an unknown factor, he was a little dizzy ad confused. On-lining his optics, he saw Megatron sitting next to him, resting against the cave wall, recharging. Looking around, he searched for the reason why he was brought out of recharge so abruptly, but he saw nothing out of the ordinary. He cursed lowly as he knew he couldn’t get up to walk around and see if he can find what had awoken him. He was too weak and strained to do even that simple task, now…
Sighing, he settled on watching the entrance of the cave and laid a hand on his chest as a little ping of pain rose up. He lowered is hand a little and rested it on his swollen upper abdomen, still a little awed by that development. Self-growing protoforms weren’t unheard of, but it was rare and, if what he had heard was true, painful and dangerous to deliver when the time comes. He couldn’t deny the fact that he was afraid of what will happen when that moment comes. For the millionth time, he hoped Ratchet was there to help… The skilled medic would’ve known what to do in such a situation…
Suddenly, a sharper, deeper wave of pain washed through him and he wailed in surprise as he wrapped his arms around his chest and upper abdomen. It was like his Spark was torn into pieces! Next to him, Megatron awoken with a surprised yelp at the loud keening sound, and then rose to his knees to see what was wrong with his mate.
“What’s happening? Why have you screamed like that?”
Optimus couldn’t answer right away because he was busy trying not to scream his air pumps out as the pain increased until he was unable to think or even move. He faintly heard Megatron talking to him but was unable to understand what he was saying. After what felt like an eternity, the pain subsided and he felt like something glided along his spark casing and into the chamber where the protoforms where developing.
And he understood what happened.
The sparklings had detached from his spark and fixed themselves into the protoforms. They were mature enough to survive outside of his spark casing now, and that meant they were going to arrive anytime, now… and probably sooner than later! Optimus keened in despair, hugging himself tightly. No! He didn’t want to deliver his sparklings HERE! In that Pit-Spawned cave, on this Primus-Forsaken world! And without a proper medic to help him out!
“OPTIMUS! Talk to me! What’s happening to you!?”
Megatron’s voice cut his thoughts and he locked optics with him. He had a deeply worried expression on his faceplates, and was shaking his bondmate slightly to snap him out of his trance.
“I… I think it’s time… The Sparklings! They’re coming!” Answered Optimus finally, and he whimpered as another wave of pain hit him.
This time, it was his upper abdomen that felt like it was about to rip in two and burst open. Megatron’s expression turned from worried to downright panicked, and he looked at him wide-opticked, mouth agape, for at least two breems.
“You… Are you sure?”
Optimus nodded, but the pain was slowly subsiding again. After a moment, he relaxed and managed to stand against the wall in a sitting position, looking at his bondmate in deep fear and despair. Their situation had suddenly turned from slightly worrying to desperate. The silver warlord knew nothing about how to help to deliver a sparkling…
But the little ones weren’t going to wait any longer. Two hours later, Optimus’ lower chest plates, just above the swollen spot were the sparklings were nestled, had shifted open and was leaking lubricant and energon down the red and blue mech’s chassis. Optimums was panting heavily, his cooling system working overtime as he was trying to push the little protoforms out of his body. Megatron, on his part, had ran to the stream and collected water into an empty energon cube to help cooling him down, but there was little else he COULD do, and he felt utterly helpless, sitting there looking at his bondmate suffering through this ordeal.
“Are you alright?” He asked after a particularly straining and audio-piercing scream.
“No, but I… I’ll… survive…” Stammered Optimus as the pain subsided again.
Neither of them noticed the light flying above the cave and disappearing behind the high trees, not too far away. They were too busy at the moment… Optimus keened again in pain as the plates finished shifting and a first tiny protoform started to emerge from his gestation chamber, back first. It was so utterly tiny… Megatron placed his hands under the little wet, slipping thing as it was slowly pushed out of the opening in the Semi’s lower chest, and catch the slippery body as soon as it was free. This one was red and blue with silver strips on his limbs… He looks a lot like Optimus, and was wailing loudly, crying his tiny air pumps out. Megatron hold him in a large servo, and waited for the next to come out.
Optimus had a little break then and could look at the first of the twins as Megatron presented it to him.
“Ha… Hello… little one… Crimsonlight...”
Yes, that name had just popped in his CPU, and it was fitting the little one perfectly. He loked like he was glowing a warm red light… Megatron raise a brow and looked down at the little thing in his hand. His son… Crimsonlight… Yes, that was fitting.
“Crimsonlight, huh? I like it…”
The next one was coming quickly, now, and optimus was downed by a new wave of pain. A tiny silver back was slowly pushed out of the parted chest plates and slipped into Megatron’s waiting hand. He was a little smaller than his twin, but only slightly, and the same shade of silver than Megatron, with red and blue stripes on his limbs and helm. He wailed as soon as he was out, and Megatron cradled him along his twin. They stopped crying to click and chirp at each other when they were put together. They were so painfully tiny… premature of about two weeks. So fragile and innocent, unable to survive for a long time on this Primus-Forsaken world… They needed special treatments and special energon in order to survive because of their premature state.
Optimus took the sparklings in his hands and cradled them to his chest. He carefully looked at the silver one and after a moment, a name came to his mind.
“Silverstar… Hello, my son…”
Megatron nodded and smiled a little at that name, it was fitting enough. The little one’s purple optics were as bright as stars… But something else was bothering the silver warlord and he soon return to his thoughts. If they weren’t found in the next couple of hours, maybe a day, the twins will die… But, just as Optimus was taking a breath after the delivery of the twins, and Megatron pondering about his sons' fate, a bright light drowned the cave and the two mechs – and two sparklings – inside. The twins started crying yet again when their tiny, immature optics were so carelessly assaulted by the intense light.
Shielding his optics, Megatron rose up to his feet and walked in front of his mate and sparklings to shield them from whatever danger may happens. He was thinking than maybe Starscream had a surge of pity and had come back to finish them… But he felt a pang of barely contained relief when it was Soundwave’s voice he heard and not Starscream’s.
“Leaders: found. Statement: I’m glad to see you are alright, Lord Megatron.” And then, the navy blue mech noticed the wailings and his optics shifted to the laying form of Optimus Prime, and the tiny bundle in his arms. “Sparklings: delivered early. Needs medical attention shortly. Ratchet?”
“I’m already on it, you big oaf!” Came the rude reply from Optimus’s side.
Ratchet wasted no time in blabbering and contemplation, and got to Optimus as soon as they were in sight, and he understood what happened. Just as Shockwave had told them, the lack of energy forced Optimus into an early delivery. The sparklings were two weeks premature… and that wasn’t good! Fortunately, the birth was very recent and they hadn’t time to weaken further yet.
“The reunion will have to wait!” Shouted the Autobot Medic in a commanding, professional tune. “Those sparklings need attention right now, as well as Prime! You and you, help me with him and the infants!”
He pointed randomly at TC and Ironhide and the two mechs, after sharing a startled look, didn’t waste any time in arguing with the medic. Soon enough, Optimus, megatron and the twins were safely secured in the ship and they were on theur way to Cybertron.
