Our Sunset – Red and Yellow
The four girls left the dining hall and strolled across the courtyard just after finishing dinner together. Yang gave a stretch and asked the group in general, “So, any plans ahead tonight?” There was a moment of quiet before someone replied to her.
“Mm, I am going to make a stop at a bookstore in town...” Blake said, trailing off without offering her purchase in mind. It didn't seem necessary, because Yang's snort of laughter caused a blush from Blake that filled the missing detail.
Weiss rolled her eyes as she said, “I'm going to do something worthwhile, like studying.” This time it was a snort of disapproval from Yang, and the girl with white hair huffed, “Then don't ask!”
“Well, whatever. I have plans of my own anyway, so I'm off! See ya~!” Yang gave a cheerful wave before dashing off to their left and away, headed towards the main road that led out of Beacon Academy. Weiss clicked her tongue with mild annoyance that Yang didn't even bother to offer where she was going.
She instead looked in Ruby's direction while asking, “And what about you, Ru...” She trailed into silence when she realized that the red haired girl was gone without a trace. “Wh-what the... of all the rude...” Weiss muttered to herself, feeling even more annoyed by the two sisters. Blake hid a smile behind her hand while they continued across the courtyard.
It was always amusing to see Weiss flustered.

Ruby stood on the special roof courtyard underneath a large blooming tree, her hand resting against the bark of the cherry blossom. Her silver eyes were cast out on the sight of the sun setting beyond the cityscape, the sky dyed in hues of red and gold. Across the long courtyard, the door for the access opened up, and the golden beauty stepped onto the lush grass. She quietly shut the door behind her and made her way to where she knew Ruby was waiting.
When she reached the shorter girl, Yang curled her arms around Ruby's waist and rested her chin on the younger girl's shoulder. Yang let out a small sigh that brushed across Ruby's ear purposefully, making her shiver slightly in Yang's arms. “Yang...” Ruby started in a tone that caught the older girl's attention, “... I'm worried.”
“What? That's not like you, little sis~. What's buggin' ya?” Yang asked while lightly nuzzling the edge of Ruby's ear. The shorter girl pulled herself free of Yang's embrace while her silver eyes dropped down to the toes of her boots, causing Yang to frown with growing concern.
It took a moment before Ruby could go on, “I'm worried about Weiss and Blake finding out... I don't know if we're being careful enough...”
Yang let out a small laugh while crossing her arms and leaning back against the tree. “I always double and triple-back to make sure neither of them follow me, and I know for a fact that neither of them can match your speed when you want to just disappear. I don't think we have to worry about it.”
Ruby shook her head and turned to meet her older sister's eyes, “That won't matter if they ever start to suspect. Once suspicion arises, it can't be stopped until the truth is found. I'm worried, Yang.” Her older sister's face grew heavy.
“Then let's stop this, right now.” She let her hands drop and turned to walk away, trying to steel her own heart with the weight of the motion. It drew a small disapproving cry from Ruby's lips that stopped Yang's feet, and the red haired girl grabbed Yang from behind.
Burying her face into long golden hair, Ruby trembled as she said, “No, please... I need you...” She took a deep breath before she added, “I just think we need some kind of plan... to make sure they don't start to wonder...”
“A plan, huh?” Yang mused while lightly brushing her fingertip along her bottom lip. “We could try to hook those two up... Screwing around with someone is always a great distraction~.”
Ruby pulled away from Yang's hair and said, “Hook them up... together? I don't think that would work out so well, with Blake being a Faunus and all...”
“Yeah, you're right... Wait! I know!” Yang turned around in Ruby's arms to face the girl, and she grinned as she said, “The best way to keep suspicion away from the two of us is if we hook up with them! Think about it for a sec, it's brilliant! If I do say so myself~.”
The red haired girl gasped as the idea struck her; it was kind of brilliant. “You, with Blake, and me with Weiss... I think we could probably pull that off! And even if we can't make that work, we can always figure out who they are interested in and give them the right nudge... We just need to do some reconnaissance work first and find out who their targets are!”
Yang grinned and gave Ruby a kiss in approval of the idea. The younger girl let out a soft sound against Yang's lips, and when the kiss ended Yang said, “I am pretty sure I know how to find out who they like, so leave that part to me.” Ruby gave a nod as a light blush struck her cheeks, the hazy expression in her silver eyes giving away the growing heat of her body.
Light purple eyes slowly took in the sight of Ruby lit up by the burning hues of the sunset behind her. A mischievous grin spread across the golden beauty's lips; she always enjoyed the sight of the younger girl becoming aroused.
