hypno009 – Had this on my hard drive since the ‘Graduation’ episode. It’s what I think should have happened. There is a bit more (mostly sex) but I never seemed to get around to finishing it so I just separated it into chapters and added an appropriate cut off. Let me now what you think.Gabriel – Less tease more action? Is that what you meant?
After Graduation
By obbiejoeChapter 1 – KIM’S PLAN
As they left the beach party, allowing the Sloth to pilot itself for the time being, Kim leaned into the kiss wondering if she should go through with the decision she had made. After all, that decision had been made before Ron… well, before he did what he did with the Lowardian’s.
When the kiss broke Kim leaned back into her seat but continued to watch Ron as he settled back into his seat.
Looking at him she still felt slightly in awe of the power she had seen him release earlier that day. She had been groggy but not unconscious so had been aware of the discussion between Warmonga and Warhok as they held her up by one leg.
She knew that if Ron hadn’t intervened she would be on her way to Warmonga’s trophy room by now. But Ron had intervened, and it done it in typical Ron fashion, big, and over the top.
Kim’s thoughts were whirling. Ever since Ron had helped her up from the ground he had seemed totally Ron like in every respect. The only time Ron had even referenced what had happened was when he all but pleaded with her to not tell anyone what really happened.
Ron had turned and was looking out the side window at the landscape flitting by. Kim remembered the news conference after the graduation ceremony. She had been hard pressed not to give Ron the credit he was due but had given him what he wanted and told the press almost nothing about his actions.
She knew that he had apparently taken time to speak to Shego because during the press conference she and Dr. Drakken held, which Wade had piped through her Kimmunicator, she had only given a nervously vague reference to Ron’s part in the whole affair merely stating that he had been ‘involved’ in the eventual defeat of the Lowardians.
Kim still had a decision to make. As she looked over at Ron as he gazed out the window she reached her decision. He was still Ron, the same Ron he had been last week when she had first begun to plan their post graduation festivities.
She remembered the deep hug and fond look she had gotten from her mother when she had talked her decision over with her as she had promised when they had their first ‘Mother / Daughter’ talk.
She remembered her mothers’ surprise that she and Ron had not yet taken the step she was planning on tonight. When she admitted that she and Ron had not even reached the proverbial ‘third base’ yet she saw her mother’s eyes open wide in shock.
Kim was still wondering about the weird smile her mother had on her face when she had uttered that weirdly cryptic remark about how she was in for a big surprise.
As Kim’s mind wandered Ron sat a bit straighter in his seat as he continued to look out the window. “Hey KP? This isn’t the way home.”
Kim smiled as she answered, “I know Ron. We’re not headed home just yet.”
Ron’s head swiveled to look at her. “But what about your curfew? Your dad has always been pretty specific about that and we’ll just make it if we head back to your house right now.”
Kim tried not to let her expression give her away, not just yet anyway. “No big Ron. Mom’s running interference for us.”
Ron’s face screwed up in confusion. “Well… okay I guess, but where are we headed? Is there a mission or something?” Then he turned to look out the window again.
Now that Ron wasn’t looking Kim allowed a smile to creep onto her face. “Well, no. No missions tonight Ron, I already told Wade we’re off the grid for the rest of the weekend.”
Kim had to quickly wipe the smile from her face as Ron swiveled to look at her again. “All weekend? How long does it take to get to wherever we’re going?”
Kim glanced at the navigation console before she answered. “Actually we’re almost there.” Just as Kim spoke the autopilot throttled back and started a decent. “Remember that cabin we stayed at a few years ago when you went fishing with my family?”
Ron continued to look out the window, “The one your mother’s uncle owns?”
Kim fastened her seatbelt as the Sloth continued to descend. “Yep. That’s the one. That’s where we’re headed.”
Ron’s head swiveled back to her. “Why KP? That cabin’s pretty isolated from what I remember. Are we meeting anyone there?”
Kim took over manual control as the autopilot beeped at her. “Nope, it’ll only be us there Ron. And you’re right about the isolation, the closest neighbor is almost twenty miles away.”
Ron’s hand went to the back of his head after he adjusted his seat belt. “Ah… then why are we going there KP?”
Kim kept her gaze fixed on the small clearing beside the cabin as she adjusted the Sloth for landing. “Well actually, it was my mom’s idea. There are some things I wanted to talk to you about and mom thought we should have a little privacy for our talk.”
Ron felt the tires of the Sloth gently touch the ground. “Our talk?”
Kim didn’t answer until she was satisfied that they were safely down. She shut down the avionics and engine before she answered. “There are just some things I need to talk to you about Ron, that’s all.”
Kim saw Ron stiffen slightly, “Look KP. If this is about what happened this afternoon I can’t really tell you any more than I already have. I made a promise.”
Kim turned to look at Ron as she unfastened her seatbelt. “It’s not about that Ron. But I would like to talk about that eventually but I made these arrangements over a week ago. I didn’t know about… ah… that other stuff until this afternoon.”
If Ron looked nervous when he thought she was going to ask about what happened with the Lowardians he looked downright afraid for his life right now.
Kim reached over and caressed his cheek. “Let’s get settled in first Ron. I’ve got some stuff in the back of the car we need to bring inside.”
