Author's Note: This is the alternate version of the fourth chapter of a story I wrote called Vengeance. The rest of the story is at www.fanfiction.net. The fourth chapter is in response to a challenge from the fan fiction writer Love. She wanted a story about Sheila and Kareena. So here it is. Please read, Rate, and Review as desired. Also, the Jewel of the Minds Eye is a nod to Star Wars. There were many Star Wars references and in-jokes in the original cartoon series. I just thought I’d make my own here.

Alternative Chapter Four of Vengeance
“Kareena,” she said at long last.
“Sheila,” Kareena breathed, “I did not think I would ever see you again. Ever.”
“I did not think so either, Kareena. Nonetheless, I am here now.” With a deep sigh, Sheila began, “I freed you from your imprisonment, did I not? I need your help now. Please. Please help me.”
Kareena gestured, and the rain stopped. With a slight nod, a fire appeared between them. Her third spell made blankets appear for them to lie on.
Kareena was as Sheila remembered her. Blond, a little shorter than she was, with pert small breasts. She was a good-looking young woman.
Sheila lay on the blanket with the fire between them. Somehow, she felt herself become aroused in Kareena’s presence. It was like when she made out with Hank. Sheila and Hank had had sex a few times. Both before and in the Realm.
In the Realm, it had been a pain in the ass to get condoms and occasional birth control pills from Presto's hat. It could produce anything if he tried enough times. When they couldn't be sure, she just jerked him off or used her mouth.
“You saved my life by freeing me from my brother's enchantment. I will help you now. What do you require?”
Sheila told Kareena of her brother’s death at the hands of the Orcs, her time searching for her, and how Dungeon Master had finally told her where to find her.
As she spoke, the firelight played over her scar. There was a dark gleam in Sheila’s eyes. It made her look even angrier.
Finally, she finished by saying, “I want revenge. I want justice. I wish to kill Venger! He killed Bobby! He killed my brother!”
“I have what you need. However, there is a price. There is always a price for such things. Will you meet it?”
“I will pay any price. Nothing is too much too pay for what I want,” Sheila replied with an angry nod.
Kareena came to her and laid her hand on Sheila's cheek, running her finger lightly over the scar there. “Make love to me. Here by my fire. I have wanted you since I met you.”
“You will give me what I desire?”
“Yes.”
Sheila was shocked, but nodded her acquiescence. She had never been with another women before.
With that, Kareena kissed her, slowly at first, and then faster. Their tongues intertwined.
Then they broke apart. Kareena and Sheila stared deeply into each other's eyes. Then they kissed again. They held it for a long, long time. Tongues darted in and out again and again. In and out. The feel of Kareena's tongue in Sheila's mouth was amazing. It felt so thick and wet. After a time, Sheila wasn't even sure who was doing what. It just felt so good!
Kareena took Sheila's blouse off first. Then she undid the cloth Sheila was using for a bra. At the same time, Sheila pulled Kareena's dress over her head and off. Kareena's hands were around Sheila's breasts, as they kissed again.
Sheila felt herself becoming wet. The feel of Kareena's tongue in her mouth aroused her further. Her tongue played over the front of Kareena’s teeth again and again.

When it was over, they lay there together for an age, their bodies still entwined. Then Kareena began pleasuring Sheila again, their hands running over each other's bodies. Slowly at first, then faster. They kissed yet again before Kareena brought her mouth to Sheila's passage. When it was done, she nuzzled into Sheila and began to speak.
“This is what you must have to kill Venger. It is the Jewel of the Minds Eye. Only one day of the year may you kill Venger. It is the Day of Sorrow, the shortest day in the Realm. It is a time of reflection for many religions in the Realm. On this day, and this day only, may you kill Venger.”
Sheila stared at the jewel as Kareena handed it to her. It was a clear diamond, bigger than any she had ever seen before. There was red in it as well. Taking it, she could feel power emanating from it. The jewel almost seemed to vibrate in her hands.
“My gift to you and what we have done together tonight makes us even for your freeing me. Take the jewel with my thanks. I wish you could stay here with me for an age, but I know you won't. Your mind is set on what you are going to do. I wish you well on your quest. Kill my brother, Sheila. Venger is evil. More than I or any before him.”
Kareena kissed Sheila one final time, before Sheila stood and dressed.
When Sheila was done, there was defiance in her stance. Then she turned and thanked her one-time friend.
“I will do this. I will kill Venger. For my brother, for Bobby, for what we did here tonight. I will kill him or die trying. When does The Day Of Sorrow come next?”
"The Day of Sorrow comes in one fortnight. If you break the jewel in Venger's presence, it will kill him. You may not have to seek him out. Already he seeks you. Go now.”
With that, Kareena said a word and vanished. Sheila was alone. There was no sign of Kareena, or that she had ever been there.
It didn't matter to her. She knew what had to be done and where she had to go. Nothing would stop her; not Dungeon Master, not her former friends, not Venger's Orcs, not Shadow Demon, or the evil wizard himself, nothing.
