-More Then Meets The Eye-
He felt.
That's what jolted his mind into consciousness, alert and afraid. He actually felt the cold dirt beneath him, the soft breeze brush against his face, and even the wet dew of the morning that his hand brushed against as he pushed himself up on two legs. What in the matrix is going on? He thought, his mind assaulted with these new feelings. Though he and his kind could always feel before; temperature, texture, and other such basic sensory had always been beyond what they could perceive. If it wasn't for the drastic change in his senses, he would have been ecstatic to feel so in tune with the earth and nature around him.
To no longer be a Transformer, he thought, bringing his now human hands in front of his face, scanning the tan flesh that was so different from his normal ice blue hands. It is a great gift...and curse. The rest of his body followed suit, no longer being a mixture of machine and his alt-forms parts decorating his body, but living flesh that was covered by fur that resembled the creatures form he had took. That of a white tiger.
His clothing, little more then a hood-less cowl that surrounded his arms, stopping right above his muscled stomach, what could at best be described as a tight kilt surrounding his legs to the knee, and leather boots that covered his feet well pass the ankle, made the once robotic being guess that whom ever had changed him also gave him what was needed to protect himself in this world. He always knew those aliens would return someday, though he didn't expect them to do this. Maybe it was a warning to his comrades to stop the 'Beast Wars' as it was called, but why do anything to the two members who had been closest to the earth. He and... Oh, Primus!
“Airazor!” he called out, panic now running throughout his body at thought of losing his spark-mate. He couldn't handle not ever seeing the avian again, her sweet natured voice being the only one besides his own that reflected a healthy respect and love for the earth, whose beautiful brown wings were always a welcome sight in his home on the mountain. “Airazor! Answer me, please!”
Clenching his new hands, the transformer-no-longer forced himself to calm down, knowing that he would NEVER find his mate if he threw all caution and sense to the wind! Rubbing his face, he stopped at the sudden discovery of fur on his face...no, not fur, hair, like those humans had that he now emulated. Reaching up to his head, he felt the full locks of even more hair that was pulled back into a ponytail, the length of hair itself as white as snow.
“Well, I look like myself...” he looked at his human hands again, along with the rest of his human body. “...Somewhat. I just hope that I can find Airazor before something else happens...that is if she's even here.”
A snap of a twig caused the new human to crouch, wishing for a moment that he still had his weapon, the freeze gun having once been a literal part of him. His new, less productive eyes searched the scenery around him, though even in the brightening morning light he could barely make out anything beyond where the flora obscured his vision. He would have never seen the human figure behind him in time, only feel the now necessary air escape from his body as he was pushed to the ground.
“By the matrix?!?” He cried, before a clawed foot stomped mere inches from his face, gleaming a sharp metallic silver in the light. A slender hand shot down to his face, forming a sort of claw despite the lack of razor sharp tips at the edges of the fingers, but clearly enough muscle in the arm to tear out his throat with little difficulty.
“Alright, I'm going to ask you some questions, and if you answer them correctly, you'll live to see another day...at most.” came the silky smooth voice from above him, clearly female. For a short moment, he thought it might be Airazor, but he knew that the peaceful avian would have never acted like this without provocation, and he had done nothing to this person.
“Now, where am I? What is this place?” She asked, baring her claw closer to his face, her other hand reaching down and planting his face against the cold earth, allowing him a view of her only out of the corner of his eye.
“If I had known that,” He replied through gritted teeth, never feeling this defenseless before. “I would have never had let my guard down with the likes of you roaming the forest.”
“Like your kind is any better!” She screeched, the fingers around his head tightening ever so slightly, a clear warning that making her mad wasn't the smartest thing in the world to do. “You humans disrespect the earth, polluting it as you see fit, not think at all about the harm you do! It often makes me wonder why the Autobots ever tried helping you in the first place, when you're no better then the Predicons.”
“Ha! What do you know about Predicons?” He shot back, not at all caring to figure out how she knew about the Autobots or the Predicons in the first place. “I've fought them, and their leader Megatron. He would willingly destroy all of the Earth if it meant him getting what he wanted.”
The female’s hand left his face, with such a speed that it was if he had burned her with more then just that simple comment. Not wanting to provoke her any more, he laid still, listening to her deep breaths before she spoke once more. “Just who are you?”
Deciding to risk it, the transformer-no-longer pushed himself up, gazing over at his attacker. She was defiantly female, the perky mounds of flesh upon her chest and the slit between her legs left no doubt about that, even with his limited knowledge of humans. Despite that, however, she was clearly unlike any human he had ever seen, her entire body encased in a metallic silver shine, wings sprouting from her back that appeared to be nothing more then a single sheet of metal. Her teeth were bared, the sharp fang like aspect giving her further frightening aspects along with her human beauty. Her gray eyes, however, told of her uncertainty and hesitation. All in all, she wasn't that all unlike a transformer in their robot form, though it was clear that she was no machine.
“I wish I could be certain,” He finally replied, standing to his full height and experiencing mild shock when this...female turned out to be smaller then him. For all her strength, he had originally expected to tower over her and was now looking down at her, the top of her head only coming up to his chin. “The last thing I remember was being absorbed by a great light, then waking up here.”
A flash of shock went across her face, her eyes widening as she looked once more at him. Timidly, with much of the ire and anger in her voice gone, she asked a simple question of him.
“...what was the last thing you said?”
His eyes raised to hers once more, confused at her request. In her eyes, he could see that fear had replaced her earlier look, but along with it, though faint, he could also see hope. “Though why you wish to know, I do not, but the last words I uttered before the light took me was 'Wherever we go, my spark will find yours.”
“And mine yours.” She replied, tears now rolling down her cheeks. A white hot feeling ran through his veins, with what feeling he was uncertain, but only one other would know the reply to that phrase, the one person whom he had found as his spark-mate.
“Airazor?”
“Tigatron!” She gasped, before throwing herself into his arms, wrapping her own around his neck and pulling him into a kiss. There were about a thousand and more things that made humans and transformers completely different beings. The capability to love wasn’t one of them.
For several long silent moments the two held each other close, enjoying the thought that there were not alone in this strange world, despite their change of form, something that as Transformers they were more then used to. “What has happened to us?” Airazor muttered, staring past her spark-mate, into the wilderness beyond.
“I fear that the mysterious beings that created the world we were on are responsible for this, though what they were thinking when they took this course of action…” Tigatron fell silent, unsure of what to think anymore. The new human looked down at his hands, tracing the lines in his palm with his eyes before clenching them into a fist. Drawing away from his mate, he gripped her shoulder, surprised by the cool metallic feel to it, and gazed at her softly. “I do not know what has become of us, but I for one intend to live on. Though clearly stranger then the one we left, this world is just as sublime. Perhaps we may find our place in it.”
The female smiled, albeit a bit sadly, at the way her lover spoke. Tigatron, even more so then her, was truly a creature of the planet more then he had ever been a Transformer. It may have been because his memory had been damaged by the Energon or maybe because he had awoken with no one but the creature who he took his beast form from to be with him. What ever the reason, Airazor knew deep within her she wouldn’t have it any other way.
“Tigatron, if we are to survive, I think we must know more about this place.” The avian said, looking up to the sky, the large stretch of blue both familiar and yet so different to her at the same time. “It’s getting brighter, and there might be something that is more then we can handle, especially without our weapons.”
“You’re right.” The new human replied, nodding to her. “Let us learn more of our new home.”
--
“You know, I’m surprised that this form is capable of flight.” Airazor commented as she landed beside her mate, flexing her wings once more.
“Why’s that? Between the two of us, you’re more like your transformer self, still made of metal if appearances are to be believed.” Tigatron replied, smiling as the spark in the wood he had finally burst into a flame. It was unusual to have to resort to something he had once seen on of the proto-humans do back during the Beast Wars, but he could not deny the usefulness of it, keeping the pair warm during the previous chilly night and cooking the fish, the only natural animal they’ve seen, for their bodies to process. It wasn’t energon cubes, but it was enough to sustain them.
“Yes, but back then I had a propulsion system. Here there’s nothing but the air and my wings to keep my aloft. It’s probably why I can’t hover about.”
Tigatron chuckled, a soft smile on his human face. “A small price to pay, I think, for what we’ve got now…” With that he took the avian’s hand, squeezing it softly. Airazor couldn’t help put shudder at the feeling, amazed once more that she was actually feeling her mates hand, the sensation so much sharper then what it had been then when they had been transformers.
“So,” Tigatron started, clearing his throat, turning back to tend to the fish. “Were you able to discover anyone else nearby?”
“Only a few…beings like myself.” Airazor said, sitting beside the man. “Though they look almost nothing like me. Some of them had fins, others that had the parts of plants, and still others that sprouted flames almost like they were Inferno. When I tried to communicate with one, it retaliated by throwing mud at me. If I didn’t know any better, I’d say this world was filled with Transformers stuck in mid-transformation.”
If there’s anything that we should know better then anyone, is that appearances can be deceiving. Tigatron thought, his hand rubbing against his thick beard. But still, it was hard to tell what exactly this world was like when none of the creatures in it appeared even remotely approachable. Any further thoughts he might have had were interrupted as Airazor nuzzled her head against his shoulder. “Tired?” the human commented.
“Only a little. I think a night’s rest is all I really need.”
Tigatron just chuckled, watching the avian close her eyes and drift off into slumber. “Sleep well, my love.”

“So let me get this straight.” The tall man said, tapping his strong chin with his index finger, apparently deep in thought. Even sitting, he outsized the tamer with his bulk, something that the teen would have likened among someone who had blood gifts, if it weren’t for the man’s admitting to being from another world. Off worlders were appearing more every year, and this was far the first that this young tamer had met. It had even become practice to tell them about the world and send them on their way. “This is a world where a man has gone and completely altered the female species to be completely submissive and controlled by sexual intercourse? And such a thing has become a job?”
“Well, dat be the long and short of it.” Replied the tamer, thankful that he hadn’t needed to repeat himself several times like he had with others who had fallen into the world. “Of course, you can’t justa go out and tame any girl willy nilly. Most of them kill ya without so much of a thought, specially since most of them don’t have thoughts, being feral as animals they be. Ya need your own girl and ta capture them, and then ya can tame them and make ‘em yours.”
The tall man hummed his understanding, his brow furrowed with his thinking. It was clear to the tamer even with just meeting the off worlder that this one was a thinker, planning before any idea was set into motion. “Curious, if you don’t mind me asking.” The man spoke up, apparently finished with what ever idea he had in his head. “These beings for other worlds, as you’ve told me, have they ever…ah, changed form? Or ever claimed to be another form before becoming human?”
“Well, now that you mention it, I got a friend who came from another world, or dimension, or what ever the hells you’re wanting to call it. But anyway, he said he came through with his pet dog, a creature that ain’t been seen since the war, and he claims that his dog turned into that Coyotits of his. I’m not sure if it ever effects anyone else other then animals though, since I’ve never been rightful scientific about it. Why? Where you something else before coming here?”
“Me?” The man asked, suddenly breaking into a wide grin. “Oh, by the Pit, no! I was a scientist who studied about alternate universes and worlds beyond what we could see for years! I was just wondering if such a change in dimension would also affect the person’s body.”
The tamer nodded, finding the explanation to be more then satisfactory. “Well, then, if that be all you need, then I’d be needing to go. Promised my friend that I’d give him a bit of a battle before he left for the Blue League, and he’s one of those anxious can’t sit still types if ya know what I mean.”
“You have no idea.” The man muttered before standing. “Well, then, I must thank you for be such a boon to me. I’ll be sure to fit right into society!
“Ya sure you don’t wanna tag along with me to town? Ya can get lost and killed pretty easy here.”
“Oh, don’t you worry friend, I’ll be fine. Besides, I’m curious to learn more of the land.”
With a final farewell, the tamer left the man, whistling as he went, not at all seeing the foul sneer cross his face. “Being civil to such a creature was not as easy as I thought, no. But still, one can not deny the usefulness of the information he gave me, yeeeeesssss.”
“Are you sure such information can be trusted?” Asked the female from the treetops, dropping down no sooner then the coast was clear. She was large, just as much if not more so then the man himself, a pair of antenna on her head and large dragon like wings on her back. Emerging from behind her grew a long tail that had a sprout of fire on the tip that burned brightly.
“Oh come now, Inferno. If we can’t trust an unsuspecting native, then who can we trust?” The man asked, an evil grin crossing his face.
“As you say, My Queen.”
“I’d so wish you’d stop calling me that.”
