Crimson pain shot from his shoulder blade, ripping along his neck and continuing to center around his left eye. A ragged, almost desperate breath escaped him. It felt as if nails were scraping the insides of his lungs, tearing and ripping away at his unconsciousness. Opening his eyes, the blond man stared through one brown orb into total blackness. He closed his eyes again, mentally embracing the shadows. It felt good, comforting, almost soothing.
“Ron...” The harsh rasping sound caught his attention, forcing him to move, to roll over in an attempt to ignore the voice. “Ron....” What a stupid name, so plain and ...........forgettable. “Ron Stoppable.....” Even worse, he felt silent contempt for that name and it’s barer, not that he had any idea who it was. For that matter his own name seemed to escape him. “Come to me Ron Stoppable....” Now it was beginning to bother him, the voice was more insistent with each attempt to get this Ron person’s attention. “Ron, come to me...”
This time it was too much, opening his eyes with rage, he tried to push himself up only to discover his left hand wouldn’t move. Looking down at his side, a bloody stump stared back at him. He realized his eye were adjusting to the darkness, and felt aggravation at the lost limb. Clenching his fist, he slammed it down on the ground and pushed himself up. Growling he stared into the tunnel that came into view as his pupil dialated. A cooling sensation flooded over his face as he took a step forward, and found himself standing under a previously unseen leak from the ceiling.
A firm look on his face, he wiped the liquid from his eyes only to be brought to his knees by the pain. Glancing at his fingertips, he saw the scarlet fluid mixing with water in his palmand angerly thrust his hand against the jagged wall. Ignoring the new cut and pain, he stood, looking around like a wounded animal for the source of the voice that had brought him into this pain filled reality. Whoever it was, he would hurt them.
“COME TO ME RON.......” It was almost a screech, causing him to growl as he whirled and ran into the fading natural corridor. He didn’t worry about who he was, or why he was down here in a cave surrounded by solid earth, he was only interest was finding the owner of the voice.
Racing away, he never noticed the hole above where he had originally awoken, or the small creature that had been crushed by it’s master and best friend almost a day before.

Several minutes later, a bright green glow fell over the naked mole rat’s body.. Emerald eyes looked down at it for some time, unsure of what to do. In a moment of uncharacteristic compassion, the disheveled young woman dug her glowing fingers into the ground and shoveled a small pile of dirt before pushing the little creature’s body into the hole and recover-it. Standing, she began to follow the footprints on the dirt floor.
The darkness swallowed the green light as she too faded into the distance.
*************************************************
The one eyed man stopped suddenly, jerking his head back toward the tunnel he had just passed through. He now stood in an open cavern, three exits separate from the one he had entered shooting off in different directions. A second earlier, he had heard something, not sure what it was. Turning his head slightly, he caught sight of his armless shoulder and formed an idea.
Whirling around, he walked a few steps, stumbled and fell to the ground, closing his eye. In silence he waited, counting his breaths to measure the time.
One minute.
Nothing happened, no sound but his breathing, no sensation but the ground, dirty and damp from his sweat.
Another minute.
Still nothing, but silence and darkness.
A third minute passed.
He started wondering if he had been mistaken. If it had al been his imagination.
Just as he was about to rise, he heard it again. A soft, padding sound, like the steps of a cat. Or those of someone specially trained in the art of stealth. Most would have missed the slight vibration, so why hadn’t he. It didn’t matter at the moment, what did matter was why this figure was following him.
He lay still, not only hearing, but now sensing the presence as it moved closer. When the person was close enough to reach out to, he could see a green light through his eyelid. Still he didn’t move, unwilling to give up his game of possum just yet. Better to observe their actions first and then react.
The raven haired woman knelt closer, staring into the blood and dirt covered face. Her hands glowed slightly brighter as she squinted, then recognition hit. “Oh it’s just the sidekick.” Her voice was soft and thick, like syrup. She had no time to retaliate in the next instant.
At the second the word sidekick escaped in the feminine voice, a brown eye snapped open and he leapt at her. Grasping her glowing hand by the wrist, he flung her over his body onto the ground head birst and planted his body over the small of her back, twisting her arm into an uncomfortable position. A growl like that of a feral animal escaped his throat. “Don’t ever call me a sidekick again.” His voice was venom, a hissing sound that sent a chill through the woman beneath him.
Any attempt to escaps was quickly altered when a knee was planted in first her shoulder then the small of her back, leaning all of his weight into her. In anger she growled a reply to his words. “It’s what you are Stoppable.”
The blond man looked down at her, narrowing his eye. “Why did you call me that? Just who the hell are you?” When he got no response, he dug his knees in hard and jerked his wrist slightly, causing a jolt of pain to shoot through her body. “Answer me, damn it.”
Pushing her face deep into the ground to bite back the scream. “You know damn well who I am Stoppable, now get off of me before I kill y..........AAAAAAHHH:” Her words were cut off when a knee was taken from her shoulder and slammed hard into the base of her neck. She had never actually fought the kid, but she hadn’t imagined Kim Possible’s dorky sidekick was this strong. Sure he had taken her by surprise, but actually keeping her down took real power.
“STOP CALLING ME THAT!!!!” That name kept insiting something in him that he didn’t like, a combination of nostalgia and hatred. Calming his voice he continued. “Tell me who you are, now.”
Her hand started glowing again, a fiery green inferno engulfing both their forearms. The smell of burning flesh began to fill the cavern, pouring into their nostrils. The blond man stared at the flames for a time, watching and feeling them eat away at his skin, then squeezing and twisting hard, forcing another scream from the downed woman. He didn’t know why, but he didn’t give a damn about these apparent powers she had. He had seen her defeated countless times, though he had no idea where or by who. “Is that supposed to impress me? You failed.” Another jerk and another scream, the emerald fire dying slowly down. “Now turn it off, or I won’t be the only one with an arm missing.”
The light died away completely, and exhausted voice answering in the replenished darkness. “What should I call you then? Stoppable is your name, thought only three or four people on this planet seem to be able to remember it for more then a few minutes.” The coming silence lasted several minutes, a half dozen or so by the woman’s count, but she couldn’t be sure. Finally she broke it. “Are you just going to sit on me all day, or are you going to answer my fucking question?” She almost expected another jerk of pressure, but received none.
“Nevrium..” It came to him from the same voice as had awoken him before.
“Nevrium...” He repeated it slowly, softly.
“What? And what the hell does that mean?” She tried to turn her head, only to have another jolt of pain go through her body.
“It means...no one.” Somehow he knew he hadn’t known that only minutes ago. A few seconds of silence passed, then he loosened his grip slightly. “Who are you?”
Turning her head in an attempt to look at him in surprise, she settled down. “You honestly don’t remember.....I’m Shego.”
The man who was once Ron Stoppable spat a glob of saliva dirt and blood onto the ground beside her face. “Fine Shego, how did we get here?” He cracked his neck and loosened his hold on her a little more. Before she could reply he completely let her go and staggered forward several feet. Jerking his head from one side to the other, he whirled around to stare at her. “Which way did that come from?”
Shego stood and watched him out of the corner of her eyes, first he forgot everything and now he was apparently hearing things. She decided quickly he was nuts. “I didn’t hear anything,....” She stopped mid sentence when she too heard it, the sound of water falling, a large amount of water. Turning she realized which direction it was coming from and was about to say something more when he ran into the corridor ahead of her. She would have turned in a different tunnel had it not been for one thing. There was no telling how deep these caves went and he might be the only human she ever saw again. She could end up dying in this hell hole and as much as she hated to admit it, she needed someone to talk to in those last hours, even if it was only a corpse. Besides, she would need the water if she even wanted to survive a few extra days.

Kim Possible sat straight up in bed, awakened by a miniature orgasm flowing over her. Her night shirt clung to her body from the thick coat of sweat, her hair wild and hugging her head and throat. An exhausted sigh escaped her lips as she fell back into her bed, the burning tension between her legs keeping her from closing her eyes again. Tears fell free, combining with her sweat and dripping from her cheek to drop on her pillows. “The same dream...” It was a horse whisper, barely more then a scraping in her dry throat. It didn’t matter, no one could hear her.
It was him, it was always him. The same brown eyes, the same blonde hair, the same smirk, the same laugh, even the same voice calling out her initials. It was him, and it tore her apart.
As the salty liquid comtinued to flow from her green orbs, she felt her hand move over her body to rest between her legs. As fingers moved back and forth over a swollen pair of lips, she wondered where her panties had gone. The thought didn’t last long. Shuddering mixtures of sobs and pleasure jerked her mind back, back to him.
This had become a ritual, almost nightly. Sometimes it was twice an evening, sometimes it skipped, but usually, it was every night for the past three weeks. Three weeks. She had last seen him for real three weeks ago. The explosion that she and Drakken had escaped from had claimed him....and Shego, but he was the one that mattered.
They had looked of coarse, but it was no use, after two weeks the entire place had been cleared and still, no bodies could be identified as either sidekick.
Feeling herself come close to climax, she turned to stare, blurry eyed, into a picture of Ron. They had been hugging when it was taken, and as she looked now, his hand seemed a little closer to her hip, his stance a little more possessive then she remembered. Grapsing the picture with her free hand, she held it to her chest, shuddering in dry sobs as she came. Closing her eyes, she rolled over and curled into a ball. Clutching his picture for dear life, she both dreaded and relished the dreams of him that would surely come.
Just like every night, for three weeks.

Across Middleton, a similar, yet entirely different scene was playing out. A young woman lay naked in her bed, ash brown hair pulled tightly back in a pony tail, blue eyes staring up at the ceiling, at a blown up newspapaer clipping of Ron Stoppable. Her hands worked feverishly, almost angrily at her body, a grimace of rage and lust covering her pretty features.
She screamed in frustration. Now he would never be her’s. It wasn’t fair, that red headed bitch had kept him from her for years, and now he was dead and would never be her’s. Bonnie Rockwaller wanted to cry, but she could never do it, not really. All those times, she had tried to show him exactly how worthless Kim was, how much better she was. Why couldn’t he understand, she hated the fact that she loved him. He was the only one she coulnd’t have, all other men at the school would come to her beck and call, but not him. He was always with her, and somehow, she knew that competing for his attention was impossible. Still, she wanted him, and now, now she would never have him.
Calling his name, she climaxed hard. Still, she continued, and would until it physically began to hurt. She always did, the new more present pain causing her to temporarily forget about her loss. She would never, could never forget Ron, or forgive Kim for this. For taking him from her forever.
Two women, in their found release and mourned, in their own ways. Neither could have known that Ron was still very much alive, or at least his body was.

Nevrium and Shego sat back to back, breathing heavily from exertion. They had both been running for over an hour, and with no food and water, they couldn’t keep going. A thousand questions ran through her mind, while his remained blank. She shuddered at the thought of just sitting here. No, she needed to talk, to make him talk to her.
“Why do you always come with Possible?’ It was the first one that came to mind, and the one she thought might make him open up.
The thought was simple enough, but he couldn’t conjure an answer, or an image of whoever Possible was. “I don’t know.”
For some reason, a much more personal question had formed in her mind, until he replied to the first and she remembered. He had no memories. “I guess that means there is no point in the next one....”
Several minutes of silence followed. “What was it? The question, what was it.”
Shego shook her head, “It doesn’t matter...” With no reply, she figured it was the only thing to keep the conversation going. “I was wondering if she was any good in bed.” The blatant remark was lost on the man, since he had little idea what she meant.
“What do you mean?”
She stared into the path they came from, not sure how to answer. Then she decided to stay blunt. “Well, since until today you never showed any real skill, and the only thing you seemed good for was distraction, I thought you had to be fantastic in bed. I was just wondering if she was any good.” Shego laughed then, a hallow sound really.
Nevrium shook his head, “I don’t know, but I think that I am still.........” Unsure if he even wanted to say the word, something whispered in his ear. The same voice that had been speaking to him four hours, since he awoke. “I am still a virgin....like you Shego.”
She didn’t reply, didn’t even bother to wonder how he had known. It didn’t matter, what did matter, was that the man behind her suddenly rose. “The water is louder here, and you can smell it in the air. “ After several steps he stopped. “Are you coming Shego?”
She didn’t reply, simply stood and walked behind him. She had followed crazier, maybe not more desperate, but crazier. If he got her out of here, she would follow him to the end of the world.
