Skywarp chuckled lowly on his cliff side perch.

Symphony was right below him. Oh, he could teleport and steal her away--if it weren't for that fragging bitch, Kaya. The last time he had attempted it, she had actually gone down to the Nemesis, grabbed Megatron by the balls and had him order Skywarp to release Symphony.

That slagger Prime hadn't even reprimanded her, he had been laughing too hard at Megatron's expense. And while that was funny, she had taken HIS Symphony away. Right when he had finally gotten hold of her.

After a moment though, he grinned; Symphony and Kaya split up. Teleporting behind Symphony, he planned to show her just who she belonged to, when he was slammed into the cliff wall by Kaya who kept him there with her gun pointed at his head.

“Slagging bitch!” He snarled. It just wasn't fair. Skywarp glared at Kaya in unadulterated fury as Symphony began to head back to the Ark, blissfully oblivious to what was happening behind her.

"Stay away from Symph, or I'll hang you with your own intestines Decepticon." Kaya's voice was low and dark, laden with the promise that she would do exactly what she said if Skywarp crossed her. Releasing him, she watched dispassionately as he warped away before pasting a bright smile on her face as Symphony finally turned and looked at her.

"Kaya!" Symphony smiled hurrying over to the other girl and taking hold of her arm. "Where have you been? I was looking for you."

"Just admiring the scenery. It’s so pretty around here." Kaya chuckled. Symphony smiled at hearing that and nodded in agreement.

"Yes it is." she smiled.

Kaya sighed lightly.

"Let's go on back and make our reports."

"Okay." Symphony said as she took hold of Kaya's hand and followed her to the Ark. Kaya sent Symphony on to the cafeteria before she went to Prowl's office and gave him her report, including the incident with Skywarp.

"Still after her?" Prowl looked over his papers.

"Yes sir." Kaya said, looking at the wall with a wooden expression. She turned to look at him. "Any inkling as to why he's after her or do you honestly think he just wants her?"

"Hard to say," Prowl responded. "Regardless of the reasons why he’s pursuing her, she’ll have to be watched more carefully," he said looking at her. "And if all else fails, perhaps we should ask Skywarp WHY."

Nodding curtly, Kaya turned around and walked out. Going down the hallway, she turned a corner and bumped into a broad chest and stumbled back before her arms were grasped and she was pulled into a warm embrace.

"Hey there Kaya. S'been a while since I've seen ya. Where've y' been hidin'?" Jazz smiled down at her, seemingly oblivious to the way she stiffened at his proximity.

"I assure you, I have not been 'hiding' and I would appreciate it if you released me." Kaya said coldly, stepping back and beginning to walk around the saboteur.

"Ya sure? Mebbe you 'n I could take a drive 'round the area."

Kaya sighed, before turning a frosty glare on him.

"As I have said before to your previous, similar inquiries, Special Operations Commander Jazz, I am not interested unless it has something to do directly with a mission. I would appreciate it if you ceased asking."

With that, she stormed down the hall before turning into her quarters.
