Marvelous. I loved the probe into Zim's species, and how thier make-up affects him.
"Irken were a hive-minded species, lots of them working together in close quarters towards a common goal. They lived, worked and breathed next to each other, constantly coming into close contact with one another. It was a constant background noise, one’s pod-mates surrounding them. ... Isolation did bad things to Irkens. It effected him, making him jittery, effected his work, his thoughts twisting off in different directions."
What a wonderful way to explain the crazy! That's just what fanfic writers are supposed to do. Look into what's already there, and find the potential awesome that the original writer's didn't.
