I'm pretty open minded when it comes to shipping, and I usually hold good porn and good writing over any opinion I may have on the author's views about a series. I can see that you've put a lot of work into this and I respect that.

But that's bullshit and you know it, Aang would have totally been able to beat Zuko at this point in the show.

You know. It's really wierd that I like this. Being that I actually am a Kataang shipper, and dispite it being not my choice of pairing you have a wonderfully written story with all the characters spot on. It's playing out exactly as I imagined it would have if they had sent Kat after Zuko instead of Aang.

Though I am still worried about Aang's survival chances here ... though without Katara, what with his depression at being the odd man out this time, I'd not be surprised if Aang took a suicide shot at Ozai this time instead of the passifist, shorter, bold version of Super Saiyan Son Goku. proceeded by a line to Kat, Zuko, and the Gang of "what else have I got to live for now?" after all, his people's dead, everyone else is pretty much set where they are without him, once Ozai's gone, in his eyes what else is there going to be to come back to.

but, that's just my muses getting away from me, you've written a great story so far, looking forward to seeing how you wrap it up

Ah, I've been away from the Avatar stuff for awhile. But, here I read this and I remember what makes the fandom so awesome. I really like how you've drawn out the Zuko/Katara/Aang triangle - with all the awkwardness entailed as Zuko and Katara try to keep their relationship on the hush. On thing I am curious about though would be Sokka's take. Granted Sokka is just about the biggest picture of obliviousness that there is, but you'd think especially as so many other people have put two and two together at this point that Sokka's intelligent enough to figure out when something's going on with his sister.

Excellently done overall! I look forward to the upcoming battle!
