Ok, the idea was interesting... But there were too many technical issues for it to be believable.
Mechs don't have 'eyes' they have 'optics'
And I'm still trying to picture a three ton Hummer with hands big enough to surround a human, using those fingers on such a small area of human anatomy.
This idea could've been developed to a more believable plot.. There's always the gear shift that a woman could use... LOL...
