This started wonderfully but ended SO STUPIDLY!

All that build up for nothing. A waste of time.

Well, Hama didn't really even show Katara any blood-bending moves before Katara had to use it on her. It isn't much of a stretch that Katara picked it up as she went along, and you showed that she was sort of bumbling her way through, without knowing what each move would do.

Now I've got an image of one of the crew walking in to find him naked, beat-up and unconcious.

    this is genius zutara
the dynamics of power passing between them was intense

    this story is exhilarating

i love that katara got away before anything happened that is just so rare in these capture stories

when katara seemed to give in so easily i just thought here we go again but then, wow just wow, what an awesome fight/wax scene and then the blood bending and the way zuko was violated by katara was perfect revenge
    this story was totally refreshing
seriously you are a trope bender
you are a trope bending master

The "You may think I'm selfish" quote comes from Ella Enchanted. I think you should make an alternative ending-if some are disappointed at the ending-where Zuko does succeed. Or-a sequel.

A great story, but man, what a disappointing ending. You're such a tease. All that build up and then... nothing. Bummer. You should do another one like this, but this time having Zuko's seduction work.

Very good story. I'm always a little disappointed in the stories that have Katara giving in too easily. This is more realistic and I kinda like this Zuko too.

I think I've read this before somewhere, but I can't remember where! (But it seems, also, like you've edited it and added to it in some areas... or perhaps I'm remembering wrong...) But this story is so well-written! ^_^

Thank you for sharing dark!Zuko. ^_^b (And for having Katara kick his nancy-pants ass for what he tried to do.)

I know. I'm wretched for not logging in. I'm lazy, what can I say?

Well, for starters, this is just yummy. Dark!Zuko is wonderful. And dammit, a Docile!Zutara to go with him would have just been a treat. But you're right, and Zuko's right. She should fight, right 'til the end. And it will make victory over her all the sweeter. I don't think I've seen Zuko written quite this way before. It amuses me to no end. I've fangirled quite a bit over reading the, at the moment, six chapters you have up. I'm sure it doesn't mean much, but! I approve.

    Well done.
