Reviews for The Choices We Make

I liked the third chapter, especially the interaction between Wasp and Hotwire. For once, it's nice to read a story where two people end up screwing and don't say "I love you," "I love you, too" at the end. As nice as the sentiment is, that's just not how sex always is. Every once in a while people have sex without taking feelings into consideration; sometimes it's just about frustration or releasing pent up energy. Personally, I like the idea of these two eing together as a means to comfort one another even if there are no romantic feelings involved. Friends with benefits.

I also enjoyed the irony. In your other story featuring Hotwire, Bumblebee is the closest person to her and she sees him as a child; here, Hotwire just laid with the person whose life Bumblebee ruined. Huh... It would be intersting if Wasp made a brief appearance in Becoming Mama Bear...

Ah, I can finally review the second chapter (I really SHOULD get an account...)

I respect Hotwire as a character. While many might consider her heartless, she has to be tough in order to decide who lives and who dies. It's a toug decision to have to make, one that can haunt a person for the rest of their life.

I like the scene where she's working on one of the mechs with one hand and holding one of his hands with the other until he passes on. It's sad and sort of touching, especially since she usually puts them out of their misery before they can go offline on their own accord. It shows that even though she's a robot she still has a touch of humanity, as small as it may be.

I'm glad that you decided to make this story more than just a one-shot. I like your OC and look forward to learning more about her.

Basically everything that 'Closet' said! It's great to see a well-written, mature story that is not necessarily porn-related. The repetition was a fantastic device. It's such an interesting idea to present a character who's doing what they think is right, while at the same time thinking that the right thing that they did was wrong. Making your character a doctor and a neutral definitely was a great choice--it really helped to add to the moral ambiguity! This story was just beautifully executed. Great job!! I hope to read more of your stuff!

There's definitely not enough good Transformers Animated stories here, so I'm glad you decided to pitch in. I like the conflicting emotions in this story; duty v.s. one's belief of what's right and wrong. This story was a good example of how the world is gray rather than black and white. Also, it's nice to have stories on this site with a plot rather than simply smut (though smut is often appreciated it is nothing if it's pointless and written poorly). I wouldn't mind seeing a continuation of this but I'm sure you have enough on your belt already and it stands well enough on its own.
