I only read three chapters so far because I have to study for class. I really like what I have read and will be returning for more.

Hiya spleefmistress (wut a unique name) (^-^)

I just read your plea for more reviews on your stories, so here's mine:

First, let me begin by explaining that the only reason I haven't been reviewing was because at one point of time during aff's transition they required a person to login in order to leave reviews. Though I had read and reviewed extensively on this site I had not yet and still have not yet worked up the nerve to actually get an account with aff. So, til now, I continued reading and stopped reviewing. After your plea with Slow Heat, though, I just knew I absolutely had to start reviewing again.

I absolutely love your stories. While, I can't say I like Kiss of Fire (I haven't given it much of a chance, to be honest. The idea of Zuko with someone else besides the original Katara, even her reincarnation, kinda turns my stomach...I'm so picky... I know...it's a bad habit to have with fanfiction), I absolutely love Capture of the Maiden (CM) and Slow Heat (SH). Do I enjoy one more than the other...ummm... I'd say they're about neck and neck. I love both of the plots. SH is less of an alternative universe than CM, and so I like the plot because it make sit more believable. I have a less difficulty(not that your plots are difficult to reanimate in my imagination to begin with) imagining the events and characters of SH than CM. Further, I picked up immediately what you just had to have used for inspiration to write CM. And, I've loved this particular story, the story of Hades and Persephone, ever since I first read it in my Greek myths book when I was in 4th grade. (^-^*) I also have fallen in like with both sets of personalities for each character, even the one's for the Avatar and the Sokka in CM.
Specifically I enjoy both versions of Zuko and Katara. CM uses much older versions of characters and SH uses much younger characters, so of course, if they're to have any inkling of verisimilitude, they are going to be different. I mean it wouldn't do for SH Katara and SH Zuko to act like CM Katara and CM Zuko and vice versa. So ,though they are completely different, the character representations you've chosen to convey in these two fics are spot on and completely believable...(^-^)

I do have a question for you, however. All the characters' state of mind/actions in the plot til now have been very close to Nicklodeon's original epidsodes, but I was just wondering when is Katara going to stop being so...mean? I can understand her distrust of Zuko after his little stunt...but how long has it been since that happened? Even the rest of the group seems to have forgiven him. I mean...he's trying so hard...it's hard NOT to sympathize with him.I'm not questioning why they haven't jumped into lovey dovey action or legasp.. a friendship yet... I'm just wondering why is she acting so? and when can we, the readers, expect to see some ch-ch-ch-changes (lol,is all?(please forgive the lack of finesse with my diction and grammar...I'm still a bit drugged up with sleepy time medicines like nyquil...my lil bro loves to share his germs, you see)

Thanks for writing your stories and sharing a piece of yourself with us. I know how much work and emotion goes into writing fics like these, as I've worked as beta before...but please, please don't give up...please don't end this story.. I really do enjoy it. I'll review more often..promise. I'll even give Kiss of Fire another chance so I can review that too.

Yes I know that I am lazy and inconsiderate for not thinking the author might want or need deeback on their work. Do not stop writing because of it.I 'll try to get better because I love your work.

K, you know what? Since I can't seem to stop putting my foot in my mouth I'm just gonna go with it. Every time you use the word "wench" I DIE A LITTLE INSIDE. This is not set in 14th century England. Once again I do in fact like your story and wish you to continue.

Ok, I just read that and it sounds like an incredibly backhanded compliment! Sorry, that was NOT my intention. I just prefer Zuko with less sociopathic tendencies than in Kiss of Fire. Or Capture of the Maiden. ARGH. GODAMMIT I LIKE THIS STORY AND I WISH FOR YOU TO CONTINUE.

For the love of pete, keep going on this story. It's the only one that has a different dynamic between Z and K than your other stories. I was so excited when I saw you'd updated, honestly. Please keep it up.

I truly enjoy the stories you write and have read many of them. It is not because I _don't_ like them that I do not review, it is that I lack the proper words to express the immense pleasure and joy I receive from reading your works. Perhaps it is the same for others?

I understand how nice it is to be given a review, even multiple reviews, even if it’s a simple “good job!” or “great fic!” but I have to admit, I’d prefer a well thought out review to a simple statement. What was liked? What wasn’t liked? What do you want to see more of? It is because of that I do not review much, if at all. However, there are pieces, such as yours, that I find so wonderfully done that I _have_ to leave a review. Please, keep up the good work on all of your fanfics, even if I don’t write a review for all of them. You truly research the characters and try to stick as close to canon as possible, save for a little bend or twist here or there (which is still well explained and interesting). It is a testament to your craft that you have so many readers, even if you have few reviews.

I look forward to reading your next chapter.

You are such a great story teller and it is such a shame that people dont put in the time to give you a nice word or two. Some people just dont realize that being an author can be stressful, especialy when a lot of time and effort is put into writing the stories.

That being said, I think your Zutara stories are top notch. I always love to read your stories and they make me laugh, frown, get anxious and other emotions that the characters feel.

Hey, what can I say I've been doing it backwards since I applied for membership. I probably should read other stories first then post my own story. I tend to get busy and forget about alot of things, including reviewing and writing.

Yes I read your stuff and it is one of my fav's. I can not promise to be a regular reviewer because the rarness of my computer use but I promise I will try to reward you and other authors for their work at providing us enjoyment. Stone2fire

You had the Painted Lady and the Blue Spirit meet.... I LOVE YOU! I have always wanted to see these two alter egos meet and you did it in such a great fashion. Your solution to the lake's pollution was very smart and really what they should have done in the begining, your insight was very good. And the closeness was smexy, I enjoyed Zuko checking her out all pretty and painted.

I'm dying to see Sokka and Zuko swoard train shirtless....yes...drool...*slurp* ok please?

I adore all of your work, and I'm really loving this story. Thank you so much for giving us the gift of your words and talent, I'm really happy every time I see an update from you.

I'm going to now be reveiwing your fics on this site instead of ffnet. My screen name there was Brittzy, just to clarify who I am and make sure you didn't think you lost a reviewer. Personally, I don't really care for that site. But unlike this one, which I prefer, it sends me alerts when a new story is posted.

I was unaware you did not post mature stories on ffnet. Sorry. I know I should have looked before saying anything about smut. *blushes*
Also I hope I didn't offend you by saying you didn't update because of the lack of episodes. I know that you are an amazing author and don't need to follow any of the season plot line, I just wondered if that was the case since there were some similarities between the fic and season three. So, I applogize if I implied something you didn't like.

OKay, now that all that's said and done. This chapter was quite entertaining. It was nice to see Zuko realize the destruction the Fire Nation and his father have caused to their very own people. More and more it seems he is coming out of the "Fire Nation is absolute greatness" state of mind. It was also refreshing to see Katara and Zuko working together to help the poor defenseless people of his nation. I'm glad they are seeing that they can work together by putting their petty differences aside. A part of me would love Katara to just forgive and forget right now. But, that wouldn't be very much fun, or much of a story now would it ^_^ I just luff angst! It makes for great smut in the end. ~_^
Yeah yeah always thinking about those raunchy scenes. *sigh*

It's very disappionting to see that readers are not reviewing. Anyone can see that you work hard at what you do. Everytime a new chapter is posted it's always well written, the grammar and spelling are up to par, and the chapter flows beautifully. There is nothing I hate more than trying to read a fic that looks like it was slopped together in 5 seconds. If the author doesn't care enough about the appearence of their fic then why should I give two shits enough to take my time and read it. It's a personal rule I have that I review each and every story I read. I figure if the authors take enough time to write it and care about it at least I can show tbem their work is not in vain. Though I think all the authors in the Naruto and Inuyasha section hate me.. sometimes I aint so nice... heh.

I truly do hope that more people review for this story. It would be a shame if it was never finished.

SO COME ON PEOPLE PLEEEEEEEASE REVIEW! GIVE HER SOME DAMN FEEDBACK.
