Authors Note:
I'm very sorry that this chapter is very short but since people actually like the first chapter I plan on updating and going out with a bang. Thank you for all the help comments as well as the constuctive critizism. ( I know I spelled that wrong><)

Chapter Two

Vlad sat in his study twisting about his seat pondering that nights happenings he felt good, beaming in the moment, but waves of guilt washed over him as he herd the young boy in his room. He looked out in the hallway as the a ray of light emitted from the room as well as the sound of Dannyï¿½s cries of pain and agony muffled slightly by his blankets. He slid down the hallway peeking into the room. Heï¿½d balled himself up in the masses of crimson spotted sheets. He didnï¿½t show his face but he gently said ï¿½Iï¿½m sorry my boy ï¿½ I donï¿½t know what came over me, I must admit your much bigger that your old man and Iï¿½m not talking about the belly kid.ï¿½ He paused listening to the silence. ï¿½How about this we never speak of this againï¿½ Vlad walked down slowly hopping for any kind of reply from the boy. When he didnï¿½t hear on as he turned in to his study his heart sank below the tides.

A few days later Danny had regained some of his composure around Vlad. He was finally able to stop flinching when the man came near, the color in his face slowly came back and the shines in his eyes returned so did his strength and hunger for ghost fighting. He assumed that it was alright when Vlad didnï¿½t complain in fact he did really say much at all. Something seemed lost in the man. So Danny didnï¿½t object but there was a hole in his heart as well. Summer rolled around hiding the mansion among the green leaves. Jazz came back but she was busy with internships and a summer job insisting to pay her dues to Vlad that supported her in collage. Danny was aloud to stay with Sam for the summer.

To Sam, Danny seemed a bit worse then when his parents first died. He was more depressed then her, and she was the goth in the school. She begged for him to tell what happened and even asked tucker to help console their friend. Near the end of the summer when Danny had regained some of his luster he found him staring at the roof of his temporary room. ï¿½Well Sam, He said in his mournful tone ï¿½I think Iï¿½m in love.ï¿½ She nearly choked on the drink that she was sipping ï¿½Oh please Danny, Paullina is way out of your league.ï¿½
ï¿½I know that I wasnï¿½t talking about her.ï¿½ he snapped.
ï¿½Ohï¿½ Sam blushed slightly thinking then maybe it
ï¿½Itï¿½s nobody that I think you know they ï¿½ donï¿½t go to our schoolï¿½ Samï¿½s hopes were crushed.
ï¿½Then arenï¿½t you going to tell me who it is Danny maybe I can help.ï¿½
He told her what happened between him and Vlad leaving out most of the details simplifying things by saying ï¿½ï¿½he kissed me, HE KISSED MEï¿½ Dannyï¿½s face was horror stricken, while Sam was stunned into silence. A jealous flame burned inside her. It was bad enough that his feelings were spawned for Paullina that she could ignore but this new feeling, she thought she had lost him forever. She very well couldnï¿½t turn away from her friend, friend thatï¿½s all she was right now. ï¿½Well Danny is you sure you arenï¿½t confused between lust and love?ï¿½
He stopped and thought about it. It hadnï¿½t been until Vlad touched him that he felt the way he did.
ï¿½Maybe I amï¿½ He finally confessed up
ï¿½I mean you havenï¿½t even kissed a girl yet. Youï¿½re too young to decide these things Dannyï¿½
ï¿½Thanks Sam,ï¿½
She continued ï¿½You donï¿½t even know if he loves you as wellï¿½ï¿½
ï¿½THANK YOU SAMï¿½ He was on the verge of snapping again ï¿½you promise you wonï¿½t tell tucker, I think heï¿½d freak knowing something like this. ï¿½ She nodded devise of a why to get Danny back. For now she let him melt into her arms lost and confused Sorry for the way things turned out. She added ï¿½Maybe you should waitï¿½ Her voice was hopeful, hopeful for the plan she was plotting.
