Oh. My. God. That is the single most intense depiction of sex between Rex and Ahsoka I've ever read. Bravo!

I bow to your skill with words. The emotional release of this scene is as arousing and cathartic as the physical. Her realization of the power of sexual desire to lead to so many ends--negative and positive--is the perfect capstone to the mission. Sex can be empowering, can be used as a tool, but it can also be used as a weapon to dehumanized and denigrate. Therein lies it's greatest dichotomy--not the schism between male and female but between veritable good and evil.

Her reaction to the troops is very revealing. It would be hard not to be able to shut off others' sensations like that. And for a girl from a VERY sheltered background, it would be incredibly painful after her week undercover struggling with her own instincts and emotions.

Thank goodness you have the other part already written, or I might actually hate Rex after this. But I look forward to more of this story!

Whoa. This just totally melts off the page. Absolutely loved it. This fits in so well with the events of Catalyst and Journey of Revolution. I like how this shows more of Ahsoka's POV and her reactions. In Catalyst, the impression was that Rex was controlling everything and Ahsoka was just a bystander to everything. With this write-up, there was more of Ahsoka participating in a mutual act of love, even if Rex initiated it. You see Ahsoka pulling at his armor and being just as eager for something that had been building between them for a long time. One can see how there could be a big misunderstanding come morning due to the bruises and scratches from all of the... ahem... eagerness from all that pent-up energy, but this certainly made it clearer that this was an equal exchange between the two of them, (even though Rex might not see it that way come morning.)

As aforementioned, you made my brain melt with this. In a good way, in a very good way! I love the desperate, possessive feel to it and it makes sense -- it's pretty much was building up during the story. What makes it bittersweet, however, is the fact of what happens after this. Still, it's very, very well written, and very brain melt-y. Fantastic job! :D
