DISCLAIMER: I was the first proofreader and also organized the Christmas Jam that year. (For those who don't know, the set-up for the jam was that Santa Claus' nearest neighbor laughingly suggested that someone like Lex Luthor would simply manipulate the bad kids into doing good things without them realizing it yet also get the good kids get to be naughty. So after centuries of the same-old same-old, Santa decided to take up the challenge himself.)

The usual is "Christmas in July" but I'm a little late getting to stuff. In fact I can't believe it's taken me so long to comment on this story here on AFFn.

First off you created a lot of sympathy for Dani as she suffered in silence, not wanting to be a problem for her cousin while also vacillating between wanting to return to her evil master Vlad. Sure sometimes girls would rather cling to a bad relationship than have none at all, but I think Santa's reminder that Vlad would probably kill her was spot-on. Then I also loved Dani's own inner conflict about trying to do the right thing, like fighting crime, but herself being one herself because she has to steal in order to survive. The idea works well because it makes a good point in relation to how kids think and you didn't need to delve into it any more than that. Snap and it worked. It doesn't pay to be good, so maybe that's not what she was meant for.

Then sneaky Santa was just so happy to suggest someone to help her be as bad as she can be.

Speaking of how kids think, while the story is third-person it does seem be or at least drift into Dani's voice, or it could be another kid's point of view that makes it more relatable to Dani. (Maybe that girl was spying? :) )

Ember played her part well, being moody and alone on the holiday, no shows or fans while all of the humans (and ghosts) were celebrating Christmas. I like the annoyance and even anger when Dani first disturbs her, but at least it made things less boring. Better yet, unbeknownst to Ember at first, Dani was attracted to girls (perhaps but not necessarily because she was created using a boy's DNA — but her admitted frequency of masturbation does suggest there could be something to that idea).

Though we didn't know any of that at first it did make Dani's deliciously shocking statement, "You can touch me however you want," consistent with her behavior and wants, and probably no small amount of gratitude for Ember's kindness, no matter how much the ghost villainess tried to brush it off at first. However, she didn't waste any time showing her real self and exactly what she wanted once Dani offered herself up to the pop star. And that was some amazing, beautifully rough foreplay (at least to struggle each other out of their clothes then Ember's forcefulness as she made Dani masturbate and suckle her so hard. Beautiful work there. Then Ember didn't hold back much either when reciprocating "a billion times better." It felt like Ember genuinely wanted Dani so badly, the sexual satisfaction of eating her out but even more so the total power over the tough yet vulnerable waif. It wasn't so Dani could take notes for next time, but so that Ember could take Dani utterly and completely under her spell: on top of a warm, comfortable place to stay, someone (hot!) to keep her company, food topped off with mind-blowing sex that she'd never be able to perform on her own – no better way to hook Dani for life. And in both cases the descriptions (among other things) flowed terrifically, powerfully arousing and intense.

Still, Ember's softer side came out, partially maternal but also revealing her own need for companionship. Considering the way things went between Ember and Dani right off the bat, I think that Santa's gift of the guitar was for filling that hole in Ember's afterlife while also encouraging them to become even closer on a personal level.

The gift to "naughty" Ember, from both Santa and the girl, was Dani herself.
