Overall I really liked this story. Though I feel like, with the original ending, you built up the story too much just for Katara to die. Like how they learned to "see" through their bending, why didn't Katara sense Azula break away and come for her? What was the whole point of them learning how and then not even utilizing it? Also I don't like that Toph and Zuko had a baby together. I just felt like he wouldn't have had sex with her in the first place.
Now I am going to read the alternate ending. :)

Fantastic story! I loved the ending. It's a little bittersweet at the end, but all in all, I enjoyed the tale. Please pair up sang
With Ty Lee in your future stories; I really think they'd make a cute couple.

Thank you so much for writing this wonderful story & alternate endig. I have spent all summer reading this story & everytime I saw a new chapter update I read it right away because I couldn't get enough of your wonderful writing & excellent flow of story. I loved how true you were to the characters & personalities that follow each one, thank you for that. This is by far the best Zutara story I have ever come across & when I discovered it I couldn't put it down. I have lost many a night's sleep reading your wonderful work & I applaud you for it. Thank you for brightening my summer & please never EVER stop writing!! The day you do would be a sad day indeed!!

Question, wouldn't it make more sense to have The meetings in Ba Sing Se with Kuei as he is the Earth King? I understand Bumi and omashu's importance but wouldn't they have less say on matters of the kingdom and the peace talks at the Summit? Then again i could just be getting ahead of myself and Kuei will be there.

“I do not know about your people, but we value honor here, and marks of it.

a little curious....just HOW do they define honor? where was that so called honor when they were ravaging the world.

Oops, aff.net ate my review, so I apologize if you get this twice.

OH MY GOODNESS, THANK YOU! I love how you give us more answers to ponder than the creators of the show. Though it was tragic, I appreciated your discussion of the disappearances of Azulon and Ursa. Amazing plot twist.

I cannot wait for the rest of the epilogue!

I noticed that "Kiss of Fire" is down except for the first chapter. Are you going to put it back up? Pretty please?

Katara's dead? :((( Is this story complete? Omg, I'm so devastated! You can't kill her off (albeit, you can but nooooooo her and Zuko are meant to be together forever with her ruling by his side) I've never felt so affected :(

"There were men from the Fire Nation who felt that their lines had become too unbalanced with an excessive amount of fire...” I could not help but think of Ozai and Azula, as well as Sozin, as Uncle went on, “and they would travel to Water lands and {kidnap} Water Tribe women to be their wives, to balance out their lines. The tales are that when such children were successfully conceived and born, they were very skilled and strong in whatever element they had gained from their parents".

moral of the story-Kidnapping= romance and with the added prize of badass children.

jk lol, love the story but that part just had me going...'huh? probably not the best way to make a point iroh lol' more please.

Aw man. My review didn't go in all the way. I just wanted to say that I liked how Aang compared their kisses to 'eating' face and the symbolic dreams he had. That so would happen to Aang, if he were especially paranoid of the two. Glad that Sokka is understanding about Zuko and Katara's relationship. Yeah, I think he would be too, after his life changing adventure with him. Zuko and Katara is such a great match and you portray them beautifully. Lol, again, I must request you to please continue.
