I feel so bad for Kuzon, I want to adopt him. It must have hurt Miumi to hear him scream and cry like that :(

Well worth the wait! When I first read about Zuko's relationship with Kuzon, I was surprised that he wasn't more sympathetic to Kuzon - after all, all Zuko wanted as a child was his father's affection. Maybe Kuzon's outburst will knock some sense into him.

I really enjoy the direction you're taking with this, especially with the Fire Nation people's reactions to Muimi - not everyone accepts her but not everyone hates her. Good balance.

As I mentioned in my review of "Slow Heat", these stories feel very authentic. The language and pace of the story is generally very good and the level of detail is far superior to most fanfic.

I felt myself being disturbed repeatedly by Zuko's treatment of Katara/Miumi("Taste of me." comes to mind), but this is just a statement of personal belief rather than a knock against the story. His behavior is true to both Zuko's character (he's always been a little bipolar) and the cultural period on which Avatar is based. Doesn't mean I have to like it though.

I found the "Katara: reincarnated" concept very original and it was very interesting to read how it played out. The original characters are welcome additions and fit in well with the Avatar universe.

Is chapter 18 the end? I seem to remember you saying at some point that Aang and Toph will make appearances but they haven't yet. Hopefully, the story will continue long enough for them to do so.

    Great job!

    +++++/5

I have to say I love all of your stories, and this is by far the best one yet, besides the other ones I have read of yours. I like the twist, and it's refreashing to see the battles of past and present conflict.

Amazing is really all I can use to describe this story. To me it's a different take on Zutara and I love it. It's not often I wanna reach into the story and slap some sense into a character [usually they don't seem that realistic to me, but in Zuko's case he's quite believable].

I can't wait to read more installments of this Kiss of Fire. You're a great author.

    Hi!
Like I said I'm going to review all your works I read. And this is one of my favourite ones. You sure know how to write.Katara is unnerving me slghtly with all of her "I WANT TO GO HOME!" wails but I love the story.Katara and Zuko are my favourite characters in Avatar and Zutara just rocks!
I love the plot of this story, and Kuzon, he's just too cute!
I have a question:You said Aang is going to play a role in this story so I wanted to know if he knows about Katara's reincanartion. And what about Sokka?
    Bye,take care,
    Jasmin

That dinner was a Grade-A Katara move.
I'm eagerly anticipating the point where Zuko gives her some order or other and she just tells him off. I could easily see it being over Kuzon.
I'm liking this arc better that Cold Fire.
